My son had sum major engine work done due to neglected maintenance recommendations. I had told him of the importance of keeping up with it. With him being away at school it can be very stressful. We found Chloe's and really appreciated everything they did for us. Got him a ride, sent us photos of what they found and fixed it faster than expected. I took my truck to Chloe's Auto Repair & Tire, LLC to get it fixed. The repairs included changing the head cylinder, the door locks, and the leaf spring. It has been almost two months and two weeks now, even though I was initially told it would only take two weeks to complete the job. The owner of the business hung up on me when I asked about the completion date. They have been consistently lying about their progress, claiming to be further along than they actually are. I just want them to finish the job and return my vehicle so I can go back to work. However, they keep prioritizing other vehicles that came in after mine.

I took my car to Chloe's Auto Repair & Tire, LLC for servicing. Usually, I go to the Toyota dealership, but this time I wanted to support a woman-owned business. I dropped off my car at 11:30 am and was informed that it would take a few hours. At 4 pm, I received a call informing me that I needed new tires, rotors, brakes, and more. I requested an oil change and replacement headlights first. However, the representative then informed me that I needed to purchase a new oil cap before any work could be done. Apparently, their mechanic had to forcefully remove my oil cap and ended up breaking it. Instead of simply calling me and explaining the situation, they interrupted me multiple times while I asked questions. They insisted that I leave my car at their shop so they could order a new oil cap, which I would have to pay for. They initially quoted me one price, but then suddenly changed it. However, they somehow managed to find an oil cap that I could use.

I took my 2012 Jeep Liberty to Chloe's Auto Repair & Tire, LLC on Saturday, July 3. My car was shaking when I turned it on and would cut off. They told me I needed to replace my spark plugs, clean the throttle body, and get a fuel injection service to fix the problem. On Monday, July 5, they called to inform me that they had completed those repairs but also added a map sensor. The service manager mentioned that the car might lag when stopping and suggested keeping the map sensor, but said they could remove it if I didn't want it. I agreed to keep the map sensor so that my car could function properly. However, when I received my car back, I discovered that the problem had not been fixed. I have a video showing the continued shaking and cutting off. I had them pick it up for a second time, but they struggled to start it and returned it to me without resolving the issue. I decided to seek a second opinion from another mechanic, who determined that the problem was not related to the repairs done by Chloe's Auto Repair & Tire, LLC. I have attached a letter explaining the actual problem. I am now requesting a refund of $769, as I paid for services that did not resolve the issue.

I went to Chloe's Auto Repair & Tire, LLC on 3/22/2022 for an oil change and I mentioned my concerns about my brakes. A guy named *** had his team inspect them and they found out that my rotors were warped and my front brake pads needed to be replaced. I agreed and asked him to order the parts. He said he would call me the next day to confirm when they arrived and set up a time for me to come in. But he never called, so I had to follow up on Friday, 3 days later. He said he would text me when the parts came in. Communication was kinda inconsistent after that. Now, let's fast forward to today, Saturday morning 3/26/2022. I dropped off my car and as I was leaving, *** casually mentioned that the total cost was $550. I walked out and realized that wasn't what was on the estimate. It took me a while to find the estimate and when I went to pick up my car, they added an extra $80 for cleaning my rear brakes, which I never authorized. *** had mentioned before that my front brakes were in bad shape because the rear ones were never cleaned, and I told him that I only authorized them to work on my front brakes, nothing else. *** recorded me when he told me the total price, using that as proof of my authorization, even though he clearly manipulated the situation and never explained what he added on from our conversation on Tuesday. The owner was also really rude and didn't seem interested in helping. He was very condescending. As a single mom, it makes me sad to say that this place takes advantage of people who might not know any better. I recommend staying away from this place!

I went to Chloes for help with a brake light that was out on my car. I've been there 4 times and spent over $2000, but my brake light still doesn't work. They tried to distract me with other problems that don't even exist. They said I had an oil leak, but other mechanics say that's not true. My oil light isn't on and there are no stains on the ground. They've been rude and dismissive to me the whole time. Last time I brought my car in, they left all the lights on and my car died when I tried to leave. The employee blamed me for having a bad battery, but their own mechanic admitted someone left the lights on. The owner won't talk to me and had an employee yell at me on the phone instead. They said since I don't want to come back, they can't help me. I don't get how a business can take so much money, not fix the problem, and make it worse, and then be disrespectful. Why would I trust them to work on my car again? They won't even check the wiring after I asked multiple times. I've seen other people with similar complaints and noticed they only show the good reviews on their website, but other sites give them 2-3 stars. They're just trying to trick people.

I took my car to Chloe's Auto Repair & Tire, LLC to get some work done on my Chevrolet Impala. After a week, I called to check on the progress and they told me that their mechanic had been driving my car and accidentally scratched and dented the rear quarter panel. My car was customized, so I didn't trust them anymore and decided to take it back to the original shop that worked on it. Chloe's Auto Repair said they would fix the damage for $680, but I knew that you can't just paint one part of a car without repainting the whole thing. It would look odd if only one part was a different color. They also said I owed them $3,332, which I paid in full before sending a tow truck to pick up my car. When the tow truck arrived, they refused to release my car unless I signed paperwork agreeing not to claim the $680 for the repairs. My lawyer told me that this was illegal because once the balance is paid, a business can't withhold the goods. I decided to take matters into my own hands and took my car to another shop to get the repairs and repaint done. I called Chloe's Auto Repair back and they said they would honor the $680 credit if I took the car to a shop of my choice. I asked them to just give me the money instead since I had already paid for the repairs out of my own pocket. It doesn't make sense to pay the same shop twice. It's my money that they owe me, so I just want them to give it to me. Chloe's Auto Repair has caused me a lot of trouble and stress, and all I want now is my money.
