Bad work
I took my eight year old daughter to get her hair professionally braided at Braid Masters in Philadelphia. She was excited to go to the salon and felt very grown up. She was looking forward to a fun experience. She got quite the opposite. The braiders there didn’t seem to know what they were doing. They didn’t listen to my daughter when she told them they were pulling her hair too hard and hurting her.
They actually made the braids so tight that there were bald spots around the the edges of the braids. No wonder my daughter said it hurt. I’m surprised she wasn’t in tears! What was supposed to be a fun outing and treat for my daughter turned out to be a poor experience and a painful one. I will not be taking her back there again!
A salon shouldn’t hire people who don’t know who to do their job or be courteous to customers. The people braiding my daughter’s hair showed very poor people skills by not listening to her and adjusting to her needs. Who wants to go to a place like that?
I am advising everyone I know to avoid that salon and do not give them business until they at least train their employees in the skill they are there for (braiding).

Took eight year old daughter to salon to get hair braided . Braids were braided too tight braids left bald spots around edges . There were braids taken out with daughter hair still braided in braid . My daughter did tell braider it hurted when she was braiding hair.
