finalizing contract
I had a look at a Lounge suite last Saturday the 27th July. Went back on Monday 29th to complete the application. They phoned me on Thursday 1st August to say it's approved. I was told to come sign, went there on Saturday after waiting for about 45 Minutes I was called to finalize the quote and signed. After about another 45 minutes I was told to come back on Monday the sytem was offline. We are staying out of town so on Monday we went back just to be told that it's still pending. No phone call to tell me not to drive all the way and be told is still pending. No manager in store and staff in not very helpfull. Please can they have a look at the client service.

The store has resubmitted /overwritten the application and the new instalment is less. I received the couches on 20 June and I was waiting for over a month now you telling me that my account will be in arears for a delay that was done by the store or your supplier, that you also know of. Is it fair that I receive items today and tomorrow my account is debited? Please enlighten me, or is that how things are done at bradlows?

My stove had a crack in the centre of the plate. This has caused my other appliances to blow up. As it continues tripping the main. I have tried contacting you guys. I want a complete new unit. I also complained about the lounge set as well. Has no spine support I ended up with Sciatica problems. Please treat this as urgent as I cook on a two plate stove . Cant cook big quantities. My name is Luanda Ngulube from Worcester. I bought this product last month and it was on a special for R5000 so I bought it cash paid the product same day but the product could not be delivered on the same day I was fine with that the 5 days went the product has not yet been delivered I went on the 5th day to query the product they told me they deliver the following day but the following day they called saying they do not have transport to deliver the product but I aid for transport cause in total I had paid R5460 including transporting they said so I organised y own transport and paid an additional fee for it myself saying I will be able to claim the transport fee back but till today I have not recieved tranport fee they product was wrapped in plastic when the transport guy and I went g fetch it the people working at the store did not even accompany us so that they can but the pieces together so we left no fault or anything for the transport guy happening along the way the placed the piece inside the house and we checked for faults at the first we saw was the mirror piece frame board was not pieced properly it was widely opened on the top edged of each and every side of the mirror so we unwrapped the plastic to find that the mirror down at the bottom as falling apart already and it had dents they came and only took the falling apart mirror place and it's been a week now waiting for it to return we did not even receive any discount or apology for receiving such a poor conditioned product that has to first me repaired before utilising it, I bought it cash hence it has fault and in poor condition for being expensive and bought at a bradlows store poor services for waiting to be serviced for weeks. We could have bought a better product in a much better condition for a much cheaper price.

I am Zinzi Ngulube, am still waiting for assist on my complain the shop came to fetch the dressing table to fix it its been a month now since we haven't hard from them and when we asking the store they say they goner call in cape town that is were they fixing the dressing table, after a week they took the dressing table the cardboard door fell, what kind of product you selling its not even a 3 months we bought this bedroom suit we experience bad service and power products

jvc 65"- since i got the product it freezes and stops responding, you need to unplug it and according to me it is new, i only made my first payment in june.
roma lounge suite- on 15-07-2019 at approx 21:00 our church pastor was sitting on the couch and we just heard a snap and crack.
i do not have an invoice as your kriel branch had/has problems printing things.
i would like a refund, as i have only made my first payment in june and a replaced or fixed product will not do, i am paying for the products i did not get it for free, and unfortunately i can rather sit on drums, then waste my hard earned money on scrap!.
please be polite enough and customer friendly enough to let me know when these products will be collected. i called yesterday, and not one person has contacted me.
i am in the services industry and even when it is not our fault we still treat our customers with respect and dignity, becuase it is their hard earned money that gives us a salary every month to buy things that break within a few weeks at bradlows.

The shop does not call me on any updates, when i go there they alwys say they still dealing with the matter and they promise to call me on updates but they neva call. Im tired because its been long over due and they keep on lying to me and i paid for the product and i bought it because i needed to use it. Im currently not happy with their service.
Horrible Customer service
Today I went to Bradlows in Umzimkhulu, my intension was to get a print out of the goods that we bought with my late husband as I am wrapping up his estate, I was attended by the lady that called herself Murrel, she took me by surprise saying that I left my husband when he was sick, seemingly she knew me and I did not know her, I went in as a customer that needed help .
She went on to say that I need a court order to get the slips, I would really like this matter to be taken seriously as I am not happy with the treatment that I recieved in Umzimkhulu branch . I would like to have this matter followed up or else I will take this up with my lawyers .

About 3 weeks ago I laid a complain about the springs of the bed hurting and giving me back problems which is painful, I think the springs came lose or damaged which I have this bed for almost 6 months now . Bradlows promised to come asap but still services are bad and it's the 3rd week now .

On Saturday 15.06.2019 I purchased a TV at Bradlows Claremont Cape Town. I paid R2999.95 for the TV. I was told that they are out of stock and will contact me when its available. I got a call Tuesday 18.06.2019, telling me I can pick it up. I took off from work, but when I got there the store was closed. I went to the Wynberg branch, and was told that they don"t know why the shop is closed. I phoned your toll free number, and after explaining the story, she disconnected the call.
I would like my money back, as I have no confidence in the way you handle your business. Im also going to report you on Hello Peter.

On 28 February was a final payment of my laybye on the 11 March they deliver damaged and dented not even in the Box loosely packed in the vehicle when my mother informed them to take it back they refused to take it back. They painted and trying, fixing the bedroom suite in my premises as they are undermining clients when I came from work I found it wet and damped with paint and those damages see attached photos I am not happy with this service and delivery I received caused this has happened to me 2003 when I bought Defy double door fridge I complain to store manager in bradlows main street they dragged I told myself I won't buy again with Bradlows but this time my mom requested me to buy now it's a same thing that happens to me before of getting rejects and damaged goods of bradlows
leather lounge suite
I purchased a leather lounge suite in january 2017. I had numerous complaints about my purchase. After a day the recliner refused to open and it was torn. They replaced it after a month. After a couple of months it started tearing. I complained last year october and was told someone would call me back. No one called me. When I called in today they say that my guarantee is over and that I must pay for it. Because of their negligence I have to foot the bill. Customer service is terrible.
extended warranty
Procured a lounge suite via credit from Bradlows in December. Post completing application I was informed by the sales lady that I had to sign a few times (electronically) consenting to Bradlows to process my application and agreeing to the Credit Terms & conditions.
Suite was delivered a week later with a defective/ broken leg on the 2 seater which triggered me to go into the store. Post complaining in this - I requested a print out of my credit details since this wasn't initially given to me - but was not assisted. I also took this up with the manager who advised that these would be emailed to me - but to date this hasn't been done.
Now only when my statement was receieved did I realise that they had included a 2 year extended warranty (something I did not request) ' which is an excess of about R4000 extra on my initial debt for the suite.
Can this be removed as I do not need it nor did I request it. I can't be paying for something I don't need.

I'm so disappointed with Bradlows my mother log incident for the Defy fridge that was make a bad noise and on the 05/02/2019 I called them on behalf on my mom with this ref no Mo- DEFY ********** 5-5593 they promise they will send a technician to came and have a look on the fridge they gave me turn around time of 7 working days.
I called the called toll free 0 ********** 33 several time with no help and they told me a deferent story that they do no have a turn around time they refuse when I wanted to speak the manager, Madla told me manager is busy on a meeting.
He gave me number ********** 139 on the 14/02/2019 they promised a technician will call, in the after same day technician call he promised that he will come on Sat.
Until this date the fridge is not fixed and the freezer side is not working now, I wasted so much air time with no help from Bradlows but every month they deduct the instalment. You do not care about the client the only this you care about is the our money

We bought a leather lounge suite from your lakeside mall store oct 2018 R15999.
Quality of material we saw in store is not same as what was delivered. As the top of the couches started to tear. We then logged a compliant with store as asked them to change as item we bought was not even 3 month and already with a defect. They said they will collect and fix. They have collected on sunday 3 Feb only the top of the couches. After a week of bring away only book into warehouse on the 8 feb. We told its going to take a month. We are hugely inconvenienced by the poor quality of your product. We cannot have no couches for a whole month. This is unacceptable. And if they are going to recover the top of the couches. How will it match? Couches we paid 15999 will be two toned we didnt pay so much for inferior quality. We would like a full refund or the entire set replaced. This matter must be prioritized and we clients must be treated fairly as per tcf act.

3 seater leather couch
Purchased the lounge suite in mid october 2018, mid november 2018 found that the leather on one of the seats are bubbling.
Contacted fochville bradlows to register fault as lounge suite is not even two months old, person registering the fault said that detergent was used to clean the couch which is not the case as we were still waiting for our free leather care product from fochville bradlows. The ware house took ther time to collect hence mid december they closed and my couch was only booked in on the 7 january 2019, now as of todate the supplier wants me to pay for a factory or supplier default. Good day. In 2017 my husband bought leather look couches for 18900 on credit. The couches started to tear in less than 5 months, we took them for repairs but the tearing keeps happening with all of them. If we repair one, the other will repair and so on. The manager said they will replace them but will no longer be able to repair again because we have paid them already. Sophia branch manager in postmasburg said tje suppliers had already closed i should came back in January. Which i did on the 10th of January 2019 went back to report it she told me in Dec that supplier would come and fetch amp from my home, which never happened i had to take to the branch my self. Every week i maje it my responsibility to go and ask how far. To my suprised, still today my amp is at the same spot she asked me to put it. Evry week its the same askuus the supplier are delaying and her staffmembers Roline had an huge attitude today with my wife when she went for follow up as the amp is still on the spot were we left it in the shop. They dont have client service or custermor satisfaction. They are rude if you go to ask them about a log. I hope yoy can assist in this matter.

Bradlows, what is the issue with your credit department. We applied for credit to purchase a fridge. Credit was approved, we get the documents and see that they have added on insurance and life insurance without discussing with us. We have both household and life insurance so they removed that from the quote.
Then I look again at the document, they've added an initiation fee (which is allowed) but I have the right to pay that upfront (which wasn't offered) so that i'm not charged interest and according to the ncr, this fee is not allowed to exceed r1000. You have charged us r1207.50. On top of the that service fee isn't allowed to exceed r50, you've charged us r69... What is going on?
To top it off, when I checked online to purchase this exact same frige, the delivery charge was r200, here they've charged me r550. Are you just trying to rip the consumer off?
When I googled jd group, there are a lot of cases of investigation with this exact same issue, and yet you are still doing it. I want the fridge but I refuse to be ripped off.

I recently bought a zanzibar design couch from bradlows lenasia trade route mall early december which I discovered one piece has a hole underneath the couch. This is the latest design done on 2018 November 02. Customer number [protected] with order number [protected] Mrs Brenda Thusi, it really shocks me as a 7 years loyal customer of bradlows having bright my first piece of couches at the same shop, that such poor quality control standards were not properly followed I demand a new replacement of the torn up piece or I will bring back all your goods by your shop and demand my refund back I am really dissapointed by how such a big company like bradlows a allow defective furniture to be sold to customers, or I will take the shop to consumer commission or the consumer protection department and lay a formal complaint against your company.
