unethical behavior
I was with Straight Talk for the last few years. Always paid for the unlimited plan with 5gb of data. Had to call customer service and that alone made me switch to Boost Mobile... wow, seems like the same customer service reps. Rude on the phone, won't get a supervisor, can't understand half of what they are saying, always wanting to talk over you and read the same crap over and over from the screen.
We never used more than 5gb of data with straight talk, no matter what phones we used. With Boost mobile, we used 5gb in less than 2 weeks and we never changed the way we use our phones. I was told by the customer care rep (if I heard them correctly) that there is an app from boost mobile that uses the internet in the background, and that mixed with our normal usage is what took all the data. Then they were nice enough to off me more data at a fee.
If I fill my car at a gas station once a month for 3 years with no change in price and it lasts me a month, then I go to a different gas station in the same car and fill up at the same price and it only lasts me 2 weeks...why in the heck would I pay for more gas from the same gas station? And also, where did the other 2 weeks worth of gas go, i'm still driving the same, going the same places. either someone is stealing my gas or there was a lot of air pumped into my tank.
In this case, I believe the Boost Mobile app pre-installed on the phone is stealing the data so that I have to buy more data, and that is a rip off in my opinion.
They hung up on me twice, the supervisors are as ignorant and rude as the customer care reps, and they will fight you if you ask for a supervisor, not that they help anyway, they just repeat off the screen what the ccr said.
I'm going to a different company as I suggest the rest of Boost Mobiles customers do. All that and I kept losing service and connectivity, and I own a mobile electronics repair business, so i'm not ignorant to how these devices work, its just Boost Mobile, its a bad company!
phone has no coverage anymore galaxy s3
September 26, 2015 was the last time I had coverage at my home. I called Boostmobile and they had me turn off my phone turn on my phone, enter codes, take out battery then I got dissconnected, this has happened twice, then one time they told me the would give me a call back, Im still waiting(its 8/24/16), I have been with boost for 14 years and now I have been having the worst experience with them, I have called them many times, and each time it is useless, I still have problems with my phone. I only have service 10 hours of the day and the rest of time when I am at home no service at all, they cant explain what happened, I have never dropped or had any viruses on my phone, I treat my phone like a human(sic). To this day Boostmobile has not emailed me, called me or texted me about this unresolved problem.

This morning when I woke up I went to go use my phone and it had been shut off, so I called boost and was told that they didn't receive any money
they took 81.00dollars from me
They took 81.00dallors from I never gave the permission to take the money from my card

I'm very mad about the situation I been without a phone for some days now
no service in emergencies; terrible customer "support"
Reasons why I left Boost:
- Endless network issues (resulting in days-long outages) are always met with the same “we’re upgrading towers in your area” excuse; if you’ve upgraded your towers so much, shouldn’t they be flawless by now?
- The website/app makeover feels far more watered down when trying to locate/modify account information; I couldn’t even check if the promotional +2GB of data still applied to my account.
- When contacting support online, my request that they e-mail me instead of calling (because I’m at work) was always ignored.
- I recently started getting roaming warnings for little things like entering the parking garage under my office.
- 4G was a VERY rare sight to see in my phone’s status bar. Antenna was always at 0.5 out of 5, no matter how often I reset the PRL, etc.
- I didn’t enjoy visiting the physical Boost store in Farmers Branch, TX. The employees weren’t helpful in addressing my issue and they kept blasting mariachi music from a boom box on the counter.
- It took nearly FIFTEEN MINUTES to get a customer service rep on the line yesterday after meandering through an extremely frustrating web of automated menus; once I was transferred to -another- person, the new rep refused to provide me with my account number, and instead proceeded to aggressively pester me with other questions.
And the tipping point, the absolute LAST STRAW:
- My fiancé had an emergency in the middle of the night, half an hour away. He called me 17 times. How many missed calls did I have? ZERO. That was completely unacceptable, and had become a more prevalent occurrence in recent months. If i can’t be reached, what’s the point of paying for the service? With how terrible my service was since I first signed up on 1/21/2014, I know I deserve a big, fat refund.
The only UNLIMITED thing you get with Boost is PROBLEMS.
I am now a very happy T-Mobile customer and get outstanding service for the same price. Should’ve switched a long time ago and saved myself all this hassle and stress. Prepare to lose at least two more customers, Boost, because I’ll be aiding in switching my parents over soon.
I am posting this review on multiple sites while Boost refuses to even acknowledge my issues on social media.
service and treatment by owner
On april 16th I purchased a lg stylus from a boost company and signed up for the boost mobile service. I went out of town the next day 24 miles and could not use my phone. I could not even call 611 and speak to boost. I returned to the boost store on 4/18/2016 and was informed that boost was having connectivity problems in certain areas, but it was only one and I should be able to use my phone in other areas. On that same day I went to another location and could not make a call. I contacted customer service and they tried some trouble shooting and told me the situation was fixed. On friday the 22nd I went back to the same location of the 18th and was not able to make a call. I called boost tech support from another phone and talked with them over 45 mins and they could not get my phone to place calls and then they transferred me to lg without even telling me. I contacted customer service once again on saturday 4/23 and they tried to trouble shoot the phone but it did not good because I could use the phone from my location but not 15-25 miles away from my home. Once again they transferred me to lg without informing me. I called back and got someone that spoke better english and she told me that I was in luck I could go back to boost and get another phone because I was within my 7 days. I went back to boost and they told me no they only offer 5 day return policy. I called boost again and they sent me a phone so I could send my phone into lg for a warranty repair. I got the phone on tuesday april 29th and took it with me back to the boost store to get some assistance. The boost rep [later found out he was the owner of the xtreme wireless in benton harbor as well as niles michigan] told me it would do no good to send the phone back because it is not the phone it is the net work. After talking with him for awhile I have decided to go back to my previous service and while walking out the door I noted a picture of large cockroaches that they have glued on the door I jokingly made a statement that I wish you guys would get rid of these roaches! The owner said "just trying to make you feel at home". I was appalled I made a statement that I don't have roaches. I headed to my care and thought more and more about that statement. I returned to the store to ask if he really said what I thought I heard. I waited for him to finish with the white couple that had walked in just as he said that to me, and asked him is he said just to make me feel at home. He said he did but they have them at the store, I stated you really insulted me, I don't have those at my home, he tried to laugh it off but I want him and boost to know that I was offended by his demeanor and that remark.
refusal to give me a refund for service not used!
On Jan 4, 2016 my Boost Mobile bill was due. Then I saw a great ad to get (2) two new phones with another company. I called Boost Mobile and requested my account number, in order to complete the process for my NEW service with a NEW provider. I was offered a new phone if I stayed [a lesser quality phone, by the way]. I refused the offer and proceeded to change my service...ON THE SAME DAY!
I contacted Boost Mobile to request a refund for service NOT USED. I was on hold for (5) minutes to just to be told that when I began service with Boost Mobile it was in my agreement that no refunds...SERIOUSLY?
I want my money back! $37.00 dollars...Boost Mobile makes millions!
service at store on davis highway in pensacola
On 2/12/16 I ordered a Galaxy 6s and paid $699.74. I called on 2/22/16 to see if the phone came in. I was told that it hadn't came in and that they didn't know when I would receive it, and that i cant get a refund and that I would just have to wait. I requested to speak to a manager and today is the 26th of February and I still haven't heard from anyone. So...

I made a debit card for daughter cell phone that was disconnected on 2-19-16. The automated system still says the phone number is disconnected, I've contacted Boost Mobile and my bank because boost mobile drafted 2 payments for a pre-paid account that totals 35.00.Boost mobile is telling me that I needed to contact my bank and the bank is stating I need to contact boost mobile. The customer service rep.is telling me that I have a pin code, I've never was given or set up a pin code. I just want my money back, when payment is not made in time, the service is disconnected. Why is it a pain to be reimbursed? I'm in the customer service field also and a unsatisfied is never good, the customers is top priority.
The same problem I am experiencing today. I paid my son phone bill and 2 days later they disconnect his phone and rob my account. Boost mobile say my account has insufficient funds. I called my bank and the bank representative say they paid Boost Mobile. It's been almost 3 months and they have not answered the dispute and their customer service representation is terrible. I processed a claim with the BBB. The complaint is still ongoing. TERRIBLE BUSINESS...NEVER AGAIN!
android cell phone
The android cell phone I purchased from Boost Mobile about one year ago has given me nothing but trouble. The latest happened today when I received an e-mail about six hours after it was sent. The problem is, the e-mail was from my place of employment asking me to come in to work. Not receiving this message for six hours after it was sent has put my job in jeopardy. If I would have received this message in a timely manner not only would I have had extra money, but my job would not be in jeopardy. I blame the bad service received from Boost Mobile for placing me in this positon.
netgear mobile hotspoton
On November 17, 2015, I ordered a boost mobile hotspot after a recommendation from a friend who uses boost mobile phone services. I paid for overnight delivery, and sure enough it was delivered the next day. I did not have time to activate my hotspot until November 26 at 1:36 AM. At this time I was told that I had 1.5 GB, by 10 AM the next morning I had no gigabytes. I was on the phone with boost mobile for about two hours and the conclusion that they came up with is that I can only watch one to three movies and then my 1.5 GB would be gone. So I just paid $25 for less then 10 hours of Internet. They were nice about it and they gave me $25 for December 2015 and said they fix the issue. The issue was not fixed and after being on the phone with them for two hours I had not the strength nor the wheel to talk any further with this company. I called back a week and a half later about this matter, I was greeted by a very rude foreigner who promised that someone will call me back because he escalated the phone call, and told me to put $10 on my account and that will give me an extra 2 GB. That was a lie. I waited another week and a half and I Applied the $10, where I was told they have no $10 plans to replenish. The reason I'm writing this is because I've had the worst experience with boost mobile, I have never use their phone service and wish I have never use their Internet or hotspot. Their customer care wraps are very rude and not helpful and you can barely understand them. Obviously they tell you anything to get you off the phone. I will not recommend the boost mobile hotspot to anyone or your phone service. But what I will do is take a picture of your mobile hotspot and make a post on Facebook letting everyone know what they are getting if they invest into your mobile hotspot that it is a rip off and a waste of their money. I recommend that people go with AT&T, when it comes to this Service and the way that I have been treated about my dollars I have nothing good to say about this company. Yes it is affordable but it's not good service and if I have to put a few extra dollars in to get good service and that's just what I'll do. Boost mobile you have then Voted The most sh#%tist Internet provider in all of America our hats goes off to you.
rebate on new phone
My wife and I purchase new boost phones several months ago. When we did they gave use receipts and info to submit to get a $100 rebate on each phone. After 2 months I called Booth and they told me they did not have the bar codes from the box. We did submit them and after a serious talk with the rep she called me back a couple of hours later and told me they found them and I would get my rebate in 6 weeks. I waited and received one rebate today. I called them about the other phone and they said they did not have the paper work and would have to go back to the store where I purchased them and get them to submit another rebate form. This is BS. They are committing fraud by not honoring their rebates and making people jump through hoops. I can all ready imagine what I'm going to run into when I go back to the store.
refused service while store was open 8/25/15 - very upset
On 8/25/15, at 7:46pm I telephoned the boost mobile store located at 3005 springhill ave. , ste. F in mobile, al, phone # 251.378.5913 - there was no answer or answering machine. I frequent this location with a friend of mine and have never had a bad experience. I was almost to the location, so I decided to drive by. The stores hours were listed 7am-8pm...
Read full review of Boost Mobilecoupon offers
Boost mobile will occasionally offer coupons via messages. My plan is monthly unlimited voice / 5gb data. The offer was good until may 21, 2015 and it arrived when my monthly $35 plan expired (After may 13).
The offer was this : " spend $20 and get $15 free from boost mobile". Problem: if you refill online by calling #233 or 611, the automated response unit (A friendly cool man's voice) will not offer an option to use a coupon if you pay by credit card, as I did. With no option to use the promo code, similar to the pre-paid card available at retail stores (In $10, 20, 30, etc amounts) , you are essentially locked out from using this promotion. I'm waiting to hear from tech support - turnaround is within 24 hours. Meanwhile, the $20 I applied to my account will not let me use my phone until the $35 amount is fulfilled. The attempt to get the $15 credit, to bring my monthly plan amount to $35 is not possible because boost has no options for tech support or customer support to help with this coupon promo. Essentially, it's air promo and I am hoping to visit a store and get resolution. Boost mobile works hard to make customers their own self-support specialists with online help and voice automated instructions, but implementing a promo offer which has now expired, is another reason why you should not like boost mobile.
phone not working
Bought my phone 8/23/2014 brought it to radio shack where I purchased it because it froze 'radio shack called boost went through their procedures then after 21/2 hours was told they would replace it. I waited for 3-5 days didn't receive it so I called the manufacturer where I got a rep again explained what was going on and she said she needed my credit card what? I said for what our tech support will fix the phone my question was how it messed up for the rep at radio shack ! So now the rep for boost gets all my info reads it back to us (We were on speaker phone) he assures us the phone will come in 3-5 days I waited and waited now here's the phone call to the manufacturer again (Do they read a script) same things said so now i'm angry I want a super omg on hold again 'super says same things I already heard so then I say this is how it will go you will send me a new phone as promised or I go to the better bussiness bureau and or susan hogan channel 12 wpri then I ended the conversation by hanging up because there was more of the same bs being said then I asked myself (I'm not rude to people who speak very little english) is this why they get people who speak very little english so they can say you misunderstood them, well I will tweet 'facebook I will do what I have to so no one else loses money over boost mobiles bs

locking door on customers
I went to boost mobile to pay my bill on sat. 23, at 11.00 am when i got there the doors were locked. I read the sign and the sign says open at 10.00 am. I had to sit in my car for almost a half hour. What kind of business makes there customers wait for a half hour just because there employee is in the hair dresses next door from them. This isnt the first time this happen to me. I.m just getting a little mad that i have to keep coming back just to pay my bill. That a waste of time and gas. I hope this wont be a problem in the future any more. My name is donna lefante. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com hope to hear from you soon.
payment
[protected] I called boost mobile customer service to make a payment with my debit visa card. I spoke with a live person to process my payment of 57$ I gave my card number exp. Date along with three number code on the back Is what she had asked me for. And never said anything when wrong . She stated the ref.# Thank me for making my payment of 57$ have a nice day and thank you for calling boost mobile. I assumed my phone bill has been paid, just like it has been before. I have been a boost mobile customer since 2008. Today I receive a text message say my account balance is 0 and to make a payment of 57$ to avoid disconnection. I called right away I asked where's the payment of 57$ on [protected] she replied we don't have any records of your calls or payment on that day. I spoke with 3 or more customer service rep. That transferred me to payment services back and forth every one of them said the same thing we have no record of your calls or payment. How can that be when I know I called and gave all my personal visa card information to process payment I have the call history on phone prove I called to make a payment . A supervisor on the phone and she tells me yes you did call on 5-30-14 but no payment was made .At this time I'm very, very upset they have been lying to me and my personal visa card information was taken and not process . Why would they lie ? Who has my visa card information ? What happen to my monitor calls ? Why wasn't my payment process when I gave my information ? Boost mobile customer service and payment service employees would not answer my questions all they wanted was more money to stop shut-off of services. It's not
right, not right at all to have to make a full payment when I was lied to by more than 3 employees I don't know what was done with my personal visa card information I gave to the boost mobile employee on [protected] @12:02

customer not happy with service line and support. will not shut phone off after customer told adviser that his phone was stolen
I tried to call boost customer service line and let them know that I had had my phone stolen the night before, and is there anything that they could do about it or could they just shut the phone off. I was told because they had changed my pin number that they were unable to do anything at this time unless I could remember my pin that they could not do anything . Now I have had service with y'all for over three years and because I cant remember the pin they cant shut my phone off, without the pin or the date that I bought it. There should be a way that you could look up my account with my social or something like that but if not then maybe I need to switch providers. At first all I wanted was my phone back or the service shut off, but now I would like to see if you guys can do anything on your end before I have to switch providers and turn you in to the BBB. I had a shrinkage plan and was at the lowest pay point so as you can tell I pay my bill every month and give you no problems on my end, now the ball is in your court... Please respond to [protected], [protected]. I look forward to hearing from you.
