BJ's Wholesale Club gas station in riverhead

On my two most recent occasions to the BJS gas station in Riverhead NY 11901 I have been treated very rudely by the so called security guys who are supposed to keep the gars in order they yell at customers dress very unprofessional and like to listen to their music with earbuds. They park in handicap parking spaces or block the south side driveway making it hard to leave the lot and don't care. How about some training on customer service and dress in proper attire to reflect a professional attitude and wear a safety vest at all times. Not sit in your car and jump out time to time when traffic in the lot get crazy. Or maybe have them help customers that are having issues with the pumps not just stand there. The new style pumps recently installed are very confusing looking for the blue light when you use a credit card to push it. Your staff in the booth don't want to come out and help anyone and are very rude and dress like hobo's. Shouldn't the booth be locked when the attendant isn't in there they seem to use the dead bolt to hold the door open. That alone should be a red flag .Isn't customer service number one with your brand... They need to be trained better. This week on two occasions a young guy came out of the booth texting while a customer was asking for help with the new style pumps. From where I was sitting on 8-8-22 and 8-10-22 he didn't seem to care about your customer just his phone. And they don't seem to care if the pumps have paper to print the receipt on more than a dozen occasions especially this week I have been unable to get one and if you ask they say get in line and wait behind the cash paying customers, How about checking these machines twice a day to make this not happen so often. Maybe only take cash at a few pumps to speed things up. Cosco which I am a member too has an attendant walking around observing the customers and helping when it is needed and I have never not been left like I am a bother or had to wait for a receipt they are full of paper. Their person dresses for success and is helpful you do not have any of this at your riverhead location. COSCO also is a credit card only gas station people keep moving none of this wait for them to pay cash then go back for change. Please take all this in and help fix your location. Your Bellport BJS gas station is so clean and they come right out to help you and are dresses for success not like they rolled out of bed and decided to go to work... If it was closer I would only go there maybe they can learn from them. Customer service is something that I feel is important.

BJ's Wholesale Club Terminated in an unjustly fashion

Hello my name is Adam Marrero I worked at the islandia store . During my 90 days probationary period I missed several days out sick. I normally start at 6 am til 2 pm. On the days I was out I tried calling the store at 530am no one answers. I then text my manager Allen whom never answers his calls or text and when he does it's three or four days later. On the times I missed worked I followed all the rules. But like I said no answers. I then call my lead in the produce department or George from receiving. Leaving the managers a message I was terminated because of me being sick during the 90 days mind you I missed scheduled hours because I was sick n my wife has covid, so to be on the safe side I called in letting them know she has covid n I had to take the covid 3 day test. All the managers knew that n still penalized me for it. Yet I have worked the produce department the meat department n my first review has no complaints. On top of the fact that Ms elga a manager yelled at me because she wanted me to leave my section while working alone in the produce department because by habit the scheduled employees that are scheduled to work with me call out and no one saids anything to them. I was actually sick. She yelled at me for ear pods while I was on the phone with my lawyer. My lawyer heard the entire conversation with this manager and how she treated me. Then she decides to call me to the office infront of four others to discipline me for my ear pods yet they all had there's on. Yesterday on my 90 th day they fired unjustly saying I missed too many days n that I never called or contact anyone. No warning memo or a disciplinary note .. just fired me. Well my lawyer had recorded Ms elgar s verbal abuse and a week later I'm fired . I don't want to sew all I want is my job back because I have all the evidence that I did follow the company policy. If I do not get someone to call me back I will forced to take this on a legal point. After all I have the recording n all my evidence plus twelve letters from employees n customers in details explaining how they see it n feel the unjust treatment.

This BJ's has a group of managers who only defend themselves and not the employee.

Desired outcome: I hope that I'm given a second chance to continue working at bjs. I truly work hard and I have never had a problem with anyone. Sajid . Allen and elgar fired me unjustly without a warning or memo of disciplinary action. Pls help me

BJ's Wholesale Club Horrible Customer Service Putting our grandkids in danger

We purchased an outdoor bistro fire pit table. When it arrived one of the boxes was incorrect. Instead of getting the section that covers the propane tank and also the fire rocks we got a box with two extra chairs. I have sent endless emails. One of the emails they asked me to point out in the parts manual what was missing. I pointed that out, circled and highlighted everything with quantities and still cannot get a resolution. We just want the pieces we are missing and to send back the other two chairs. Since the section that covers the propane tank is not there BJs will be liable if anything happens to our grandkids due to this...BJs just doesnt care. I cannot even count the number of emails we have gotten saying "we have escalated this and you will hear back in 3-5 days". This now looks like just a generic email response and we feel BJs really isnt going to handle this...they just wait until people just give up. We will give up, we will cancel our membership and make sure everyone we know hears this and recommend they cancel also. Extremely ridiculous when you know what we are missing and still cannot resolve this.

Desired outcome: We just want the pieces we are missing...and to return the extra chairs you sent us. Ridiculous.....it should not take this long.

BJ's Wholesale Club cust service

we joined BJs membership where we paid a fee. Recently in a move, we learned we owed BJ,s 208.00 Calling to check they stated we had a BJ.s credit card, We have never had a mastercard. Filed dispute with equifax. trying to work with BJ.s to clear this is a REAL headache. They keep going to the Bank of the Cr Card which we dont have. Then I was told the 110. membership fee was on the card plus interest. again WE DONT HAVE A CR CARD. Tried to speak with a super to clear it up, TWICE, IM REFUSED. Today talking with BJ.s again Im told they issued a 100.00 cr to the bank. The charge was 208.00 That again wont clear our name or the hit on our credit report. THen Ive used the memmber ship card

since 9 of 2021 to date. July 21 at gas pump we are told our membeship had expired. Went into the store to pay, The gal at the counter stated, your expired. I explained I had just been told that, when did it expire? She very rudely stated, Feb 23, 2022. I ask how was I able to shop if expired, she stated, you couldnt with this card. Well I did its the only bj card I have. She was nasty. I checked my receipt it states I expire Feb 23, Today trying again to clear this, I was told my membership I paid in Feb and May 11 was refunded to the bank I dont belong to Anyone else having these problems? Im calling an attorney I dont care that I cant shop there but the fact they hit my cr report, I do care. Plus they refunded my fee to a party Im not involved with

BJ's Wholesale Club BJs perks credit card. Lost my payment told me to call back couple of weeks. just slow processing.

I made my payment 7/5/2022 of 534.01 they have no record. It cleared my bank and I even gave them theTRACE ID. still nothing . I have called four times and I am still on hold over 1hour seventeen minutes. I sent daughter to get gas and she had no funds. Really its a 14, 400. limit card, And they lost the payment not me. I even told them to look under old card number. Still nothing but a $30. credit late charge. PLease get in touch with me. [protected]

BJ's Wholesale Club Employee

Good morning this is in regards to one of your employees at your location 125 Green Achers Rd., Valley Stream, NY 11581. Her name is Jennifer Saladin. She is a white female who works upfront at the cashier she is very prejudice and extremely racist against Black people I have proof of a tax that if she does not get terminated from this location this text that I have which states that she is employed at Bjs and Valleystream that she hates her job because she works with Black people instead of me using the N-word I used Black people she needs to be terminated, I have printed out the text and if I see no results the text which explains everything about Bjs and the Black people ““ copies will be made and put on all the customers cars please take this serious this is disgusting and someone like car should not be working in a huge chain like this .

Hello

Please look into a disturbing incident at the BJs in Valley Stream yesterday at 9:45 PM (August 4, 2022).

The lines were long, the manager chose to close 5 of the 6 self checkout registers, only to turn one back on for her own selfish use.

She then yelled at the customers on the line she wants to go home at 10 PM when the store closes.

Her behavior caused many customers distress and were forced to leave the store because she refused to efficiently and effectively serve BJ's valued customers. My son wasted time shoppig, only to be forced to leave after much stress from this "manager" with zero management skills. She barked "You go home on time, so do I want to leave"! Cart after cart full of unchecked groceries will surely go to waste - she pointed at numerous other carts stating "nothing new". You can review store video for more information, please let her go! for good! and the good of the Valley Stream store!

BJ's Wholesale Club Your signs with higher priced products that do not match the signs

Subject: BJs and Your Rip Offs

Sir/Madam

On July 24th, my wife and I saw an air mattress that we picked up and put in our cart at the Chambersburg, Pa. store. It had a sign over it like all of your products have. It read $29.99 in large, bold writing with smaller print under it. When we got top the register, it came up that it was $89.99!

We went to the Customer service counter and let them know and tried to get it for the sign price and called for the service manager to come and talk to us. I took her to the sign and she promptly took it down. I asked about getting it for the sign price but of course that was not possible since tie sign was for another product that was not there!

Well, we learned a lesson from that experience and now have learned that we have to check and make sure that the sign and the product and the price matches the item what we are buying.

We go back to the store on the 27th, yesterday wanting some pastries for a party that was today, the 28th and decided to check the product with the sign. The sign was very large over the pastries on the shelf with the sign. There were signs on both sides of the table back-to-back. One sign read that the product was $5.99 but the shelf that the sign was for had items right under the sign for $10.99! The opposite sign read $4.89 but the product under the sign was $8.79!

Well, my wife went to a lady in the department who came and checked. The item for the sign was on the table below the sign and camouflaged with many other pastries in the same kind of boxes below the shelf. She had to look for a time, reading the boxes to find the product that the sign was for. We didn’t take the time to try and find the items on the other side of the table.

We went to the Customer Service and made a strong complaint to the two people that were there. Of course they can’t do anything so I called for the manager again. This manager was different from the previous one I had talked to about the mattress.

I took her to the table and showed her the discrepancies of the signs with the displayed products and the represented prices. As we were leaving, I decided to go and take pictures of the table. But the manager was there and had taken the signs down! I asked where they were and she said they had be shredded already. In less than four minutes she had them down and shredded! Well, I don’t believe that she actually had them shredded in that amount of time but I couldn’t get my pictures but I will be taking them in the future.

I was advised by three different people on the two days in question that they were told to do the displays this way! Incredible! So now I have to check the products I buy with the sign so I don’t get ripped off because the product displayed with the sign is always much higher! What about all of the other people that don’t know about your policies and how many times in the past has it happened to me? Customer Service told us that there had been other complaints like the one we were making.

Customers have come to trust the digital way of pricing and buying our goods with signs that match the product they are displayed with over the years and now we are finding out that you can’t be trusted!

Well, we went to another store for the pastries and I guess I should be thankful because you have made us much more watchful customers because you can’t be trusted any longer!

BJ's Wholesale Club An accident on July 19, 2022 during 12:45-1:15 pm at BJ's Wholesale Club, 20 Division St, Derby, CT 06418

Summary:

On the day, Richard Malinauskas (and his companion/friend Elda) went for their regular groceries at the Store. They were in main aisle (next to #11, most likely) with their shopping cart filled with groceries. Suddenly, Richard was knocked down by an industrial sweeping machine. He fell on his left side and his left leg got tangled into the front of the sweeping machine. He was then dragged on the floor about 3-4 ft. in the floor as Richard tried to hold onto the shopping cart. Soon after, the operator of the machine noticed and stopped while Richard laid there for a few more minutes. Two people helped him to get up. Someone else picked up the scattered groceries from the floor. Store clerks (two employees named below) came and made a report on the incident. Both Richard and Elda asked for a copy of the report but they were told that they will have to wait until the corporate insurance/lawyers contacted them. Elda wrote down the incident and took down the names of the two of BJs employees together with the name of the Store Manager:

Mike C: General Manager.

The store clerk gave a claim for the incident: MACC318202275;

There is an eye-witness to this incident who provided his name and tel. no. as well.

Richard went to see a doctor on 7/22/2022 who took an x-ray and did initial assessment. The report and assessment are available.

Desired outcome: 1. Contact from the insurance/Corporate Legal HQ (Sedgwich) as soon as possible; 2. Prompt resolution of the Claim #: MACC318202275;

BJ's Wholesale Club Stolen wallet

I had a wallet stollen and asked to have the video reviewed by the store. They have yet to inform me of the results and keeps stating they are reviewing the tape. I've call multiple times and still the Manager Star has yet to call me like she said she would. Now I believe they are trying to cover up the thief by one of their cashiers who is likely the culprit in this situation.

Desired outcome: I am waiting to see what the video shows of who took my wallet and stole my money inside of it.

BJ's Wholesale Club Biscoff

July 6, 2022. Website showed in stock

I should not have to spend 25 minutes driving to your store (Farmingdale) when an item Biscoff butter shows that it is available only to find out that your out of stock when your website shows in stock. I again ordered from bellport store to only be told the following day that it is out of stock. Get your website together. It’s ridiculous!

BJ's Wholesale Club tv never received cannot get my refund for a month

ordered 2 televisions online 6/8/22

I only received 1

called customer service 5 times and I am not getting any return call or email,

claim they are waiting on shipping company's response (for 3 weeks)

BJS told me on my first call that it would take 3 days to be resolved and ZERO response from anyone or supervisors. Its been 3 WEEKS!

Its outrageous! I just want my refund for the television!

BJ's Wholesale Club Pazookie

I ordered chili bread bowl an clam chowder bread with 2 strawberry short cake first I didn't even get none of the strawberry topping second the cookie was all crumbled up I took a picture that is not exceptable if had ordered in the restaurant they wouldn't serve it like that so disappointed and it came to me just like the picture like it had been opeded

BJ's Wholesale Club Checking out line

Why the [censored] am I paying for a membership only to be treated like a [censored]ing thief as I exit the store?! I can go to any other food store and be treated with dignity. Stop with the [censored]ing checking out to check if we are stealing. That is very degrading and insulting to loyal paying members!

BJ's Wholesale Club Membership cancelled without any notice. I was on auto re-new

My husband went to BJS today and did his normal shopping of about $300.00 when he approached the check out he was told he no longer had a membership and then further told he would have to rejoin and pay a penalty fee $ 65.00 and they could not get back our previous membership. He then called me very irate and embarrassed.

I handle the auto pay it comes out of my checking. My renewal is and has been always for July 1 St. In April or May my checking account was debited $110.00 for auto pay membership I then called with a concern why was the money being taken out so early? Then then replied they were not sure she went on to say we can refund it and take it out when it is due. At that point I said no just keep it I'm all set my membership is good so long as you do not take out again in June.

She replied no you are all set. Membership is valid.

I don't know how I lost my member ship that I had a great history of shopping and spending good money at BJS to having to start up as a new member with no previous spending history which helps us because of the 2 percent plan we pay extra for to receives rewards.

I never received any notice my membership was in jeopardy or being canceled. I had Auto-pay and the money was taken out of my checking.

So here we are starting over with a new membership and was totally hamulated at the store check out not to mention how upset all the people in line were not very happy with this major hold up.

I feel the treatment my husband received was very unprofessional and I myself spoke to the girl on the phone while I was at work and she was not very understanding and I tried to clear it up as she said no I will open a new account with your husband with your permission. With that being said this account was something I took pride in as we purchased tires every year times two vehicles and spend on an average 0f $450.00 easy per month on just food and household goods not to mention yard etc. purchases.

If a refund was then put in place and then my membership was canceled why was I not notified and how did that happen as I did not request a REFUND. When $110.00 was taken out of my checking account.

You have access to my checking account I should of never been cancelled you go in and out of my checking from what I can see. No notice was given that my account was being CLOSED to the best of my knowledge my account was in good standing as what I was told on the phone. I did not appreciate the girl telling me today she can not help me with my previous account. I feel like this was a scam so the employee can get a new membership sigh up incentives that are in place. Thanking you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.

Desired outcome: I want my original account back with all my years of spending or transfer my history to the new card and a free member ship for two years.

BJ's Wholesale Club Fuel up 75 cents off per gallon of gas

I purchased 4 items from the list on the flyer in one transaction (2 bags of Cape Cod chips, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce & Vlasic Sweet Relish) as well as 2 items that are suppose to be 10 cents additional each per item (Veggie Straws and Apple Straws). Still have not received the fuel savings on my account. Have been in a back and forth chat session since 6/6/2022 to no avail. Besides the fact it takes up to 72 hours for a response the continued response is "4 items from the list have to be purchase in the same transaction". There is no response to the question regarding the 2-10 cent items. I totally can't understand why what I purchased doesn't qualify. I have just joined the club a couple of months ago and unfortunately due to this I will not renew it when it expires. VERY disappointed in BJs false advertising tactics.

Desired outcome: I would like my fuel saver points credited to my account.

This is insane, Flag day is today June 14th and Independence Day is weeks away and NOT ONE AMERICAN FLAG AT BJ"S! I am FURIOUS and will be pulling my membership and all acquaintances I will advise to drop this TREASONOUS STORE. FIRST YOU DROPPED MY PILLOW, NOW ABSOLUTELY NO PATRIOTISM FOR OUR COUNTRY. I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER AT 120 A YR FOR 15 YEARS. I AM THROUGH WITH YOUR POS COMPANY!

BJ's Wholesale Club My membership renewal

I renewed my card last month at a cost of 55.00. In todays mail I got a coupon that offered me a 20.00 renewal. I feel as if I was ripped off. Maybe 35.00 is not much to a big company but for a retired person, it hurt. Very unfair.

That 35.00 would buy a lot at BJ's.

BJ's Wholesale Club Berkley Jensen 14' x 12' Steel Hardtop Gazebo with Netting

on may 9th 2022 i placed an order for a gazebo. i received an email notification with a tracking number and delivery date for 5/12/2022. i have called 6 times to follow up and everyone i talk to submit a ticket, when i call back to get an update on the prior ticket they inform me they have to submit ANOTHER ticket. 6 tickets have been submitted and i have not received 1 single answer. I have asked to cancel and reorder the gazebo but no one is able to assist me. This has been going on for over a month. this is unacceptable and if i am not going to receive my order or get an answer i need to get a refund back as soon as possible. order #[protected].. membership #[protected].
