I started as a new donor at the end of November. I had my first appointment, and they did the SPE sample on the first visit. Then on my second appt, they did a SECOND sample. When I asked why, the lady said it was in the system to have one done, even though I did one on my first appointment. Mind you, this is my second time donating with Bioplasma. I went in for my third donation and that went as expected. When I was getting ready for my fourth donation, as I always do, I double check my appointment time the night before. Everything checked out and was good. When I get up in the morning, I have a message on the dashboard saying I needed to do ANOTHER SPE SAMPLE. I was only my fourth donation and I already submitted 2 at this time. When I finally got in touch with the office on the following Tuesday(I was supposed to donate that previous Sunday), the receptionist said it was procedure, and I needed to come to the center to talk to a nurse. When I asked if the nurse was avaiable she said no nurse was in the building but to come down anyway. At that time, it didn't make sense for me to come do another sample without an explanation to why I am doing all these samples in less than ten days and I wasn't guaranteed to talk to a nurse or donate. Also the receptionist stated that it was the nurse who make to decision for extra samples. WHAT? THIS IS NOT CORRECT PROCEDURE FOR ANY FACILTIY THAT THE NURSE CONTROLS WHO THEY WANT TO GET EXTRA SAMPLES FROM!?!? To me, it seems like they don't want to pay the new donor fees and are making excuses for people to not make donations. Also riddle me this, if something was wrong with my SPE, which the results would not have come back that soon, why have my other appointments not been cancelled? It states that we get the SPE done at first visit then every four months after, if it comes back abnormal, all future appointments would be cancelled. I still have an appointment booked but need to give a third sample. Am I missing something? I'm upset and confused. It doesn't feel or sound right I feel like I'm being scammed out of the first-time donor fees because of the 30 day rule and donations. This is a frustrating situation to which I still have no explanation offered for this and also know that I am not the only donor who is going through the same experience with this facility. What do I do now? I also reported this on the app with customer service, and no one has responded at all, even within the timeframe they give! This is very scam feeling, especially because I have had conversations with other new donors going thru the same experience. So What is BIOPLASMA GOING TO DO TO RECTIFY THIS? I have screen shots and call log to show when I talked to the receptionist and messages in my app.

Recommendation: Dont trust the new donor rates because they find ways to go around not paying out using SPE samples as an excuse.
