I went to 7 stores yesterday looking for the best patio furniture for the best price. This was my last stop and they had exactly what I was looking for! We absolutely love our new furniture and it was half off. We had two people help us and they were extremely nice! I wish I could remember the lady’s name but I believe the man’s name was Paul. They were so patient with us and really did help us. We will be back for sure.

Love that Big Lots has a little bit but always every thing I need without having to go to a bigger store. And when they have their deals like clearance I definitely come out of the store feeling accomplished in saving. Having the app is a plus it helps me keep track of my spending and all the coupons I can use with each visit. The staff at my store #4387 Austin, Texas is also always so nice and helpful. Thank you Big Lots!

It's a fantastic store with a wide variety of products at affordable prices. The store's layout was organized and easy to navigate, making the shopping experience enjoyable. The friendly and helpful staff made it even better. I was impressed with the diverse selection of items, from home goods to electronics, and the quality of their products exceeded my expectations. Overall, I had a great time at Big Lots and will definitely be returning for future shopping trips.

I love Big Lots they have everything I need for my home, work and my family. I always find new things to do buy and their prices are fantastic. One thing I have to buy every time I go is their amazing candles. They not only have the best scent but there prices are so much cheaper then any other store. Their different seasonal and holiday items are also very amazing. If you need a specific item my recommendation is to always buy them at Big Lots. It’s an amazing store with lots of great deals and products.

Today my family and I went to Big Lots to purchase a few small items when we stumbled across a reclining loveseat that was on sale!
The price was very reasonable compared to other reclining loveseats that we have looked at in recent months but because we decided to sign up as reward members we were able to save an additional 15% on top of the sale price!
The furniture service assistant Donald was very friendly and helpful in assisting us!
I just wanted to leave my two cents on our experience!

The app is very easy to navigate. Sometimes it’s more convenient to get items delivered or to pickup real quick while out running errands. Prices are even better on the app than in person sometimes. You get notified of deals they’re having so you can jump on it before items run out or go back to full price. They always have quality items for great prices and the app makes it all that much better

Wow, I cannot believe that while trying to shop at a retail store from their own App, I am constantly bombarded with pop-up ads for other places of business. What the heck? Does Big Lots not want me as a customer? It is so frustrating how often these ads pop up that it is not even worth trying to shop on the app. I have never seen such a poor business marketing. I love Big Lots, but not this App!

Terrible app. Doesn’t track purchases or coupons. What’s the point of it being connected to my phone number then? Also the ap is inundated with ads. Can barely log in or shop without ads constantly popping up. Like seriously, I’m trying to spend money with you but you wanna bombard me with ads from other companies. Seems like it was designed in a rush and on a budget without regard for the actual end user experience.

I downloaded the app & tried shopping on it, but every few SECONDS an advertisement would pop up & interrupt me. Even worse, exiting the advertisement didn’t put me back where I was shopping and I had to start my search from the beginning. I couldn’t even get to the bottom of the first page. After about 3 minutes and 654,467,468 advertisements later, I gave up & I'm deleting the app. I love Big Lots, but the app is TERRIBLE!

I downloaded the app less than 10 minutes ago. After logging in and browsing for an area rug, an ad popped up that had to be watched for 5 seconds before I could skip it. This happened again 2 more times within 3 minutes after the first ad. And it was the same ad each time. I can’t even look for what I need because of the frequent ads. I just uninstalled the app because that is ridiculous. An ad every 60 seconds is overkill.

Worst app ever full of ads of really long ads all over you cannot go anywhere or see any item without an ad popping out extremely annoying you cannot even shop. You cannot escape a single ads.. download and see for yourself not even exaggerating I know it sounds extreme, but truly it is so annoying so so annoying! Better to just drive to the store and see their inventory in person. This is the slowest app the most stupid app ever.

I had high hopes for this app. However, the pop up ads one after another in rapid succession while you’re trying to search for something are unbearable. I deleted it after about 15 minutes of getting nowhere. It’s a pain to have to use the website instead of an app, but I found what I needed in about a minute bc there were no ads. What were they thinking when they created this this way? Smh. Do not recommend. I gave it two stars for existing.

I have never experienced so many ads on a site where they are expecting you to BUY SOMETHING! I get the app is free, but never in all of the years shopping from my phone have I had a shopping app have so many ads. They have a constant ad showing on the bottom of the screen throughout the app, and also have pop up ads that interrupt my shopping experience every few seconds…literally. What an epic fail. Nothing makes me want to boycott a store more than this.

Visited my favorite Big Lots store (#4622) and saw a dinette set my son liked for his apartment was on sale.

The associate went above and beyond assisting me in finding the set at other store locations in my area and online since they were currently out of stock.

This is a first because this location is usually stocked with everything which is why I choose to shop at this store. Also the store is clean and items are where they’re supposed to be.

Pop up ads were absolutely unbearable! This is not even a game. It’s a shopping app.

While I was trying to set up my account with the password and all the profile information Pop ups were repeatedly popping up during pop ups !

And not just small written adds.
Loud music & video pop ups.
So much for shopping quietly.

These pop ups were extremely difficult to quiet, let alone delete.
As soon as I was able to get past signing in, I deleted the app.

Ridiculous! Worst pop ups ever!

This is the only store app I’ve ever used that interrupted my shopping experience to make me watch ads. I couldn’t even load my cart without an obnoxious ad being thrown in my face.

So annoying. -_- I get enough of that from stupid free games, and at least those usually give me a digital reward for it. Deleted the app without placing an order. Still a Big Lots shopper, but this was definitely a turn-off. Save yourself some time and frustration and just use the Big Lots website from a browser.

I shopped at the newly opened store in Carrollton, GA. I picked out a Broyhill sectional and kitchen table & chairs. Since the employee told me a local delivery service was being used, I should just order online and schedule delivery.l rather than purchase in-store. The App is absolutely not usable due to ads with loud music popping up about every 60 seconds. It’s frustrating, ridiculous and makes it impossible and unpleasant to browse or shop. I’ll be looking elsewhere. Nobody is going to tolerate the annoyance. Kind Regards!

I just downloaded the app today (surprised there was one that I didn’t have) as I have been a loyal customer since 1992 and the days of “Odd Lots Big Lots” still being on the sign. The app is HORRIBLE with competitor pop up ads- I will be deleting as soon as I leave this review. Makes me wonder if the app is actually owned by the company? The website isn’t much better, slow as molasses and horrible in store when showing coupons at the register. Hopefully this will keep people away from my favorite store & more bargains for me! :-)

Can’t even shop or check out before ads pop up and stop you, so aggravating!

I don't think I will ever use this app again!

Need to make it to where the ads only popup every 10-15 minutes, it is such a annoying feature to be trying to look at an item and then an add pops up l, then when you are ready to checkout ads pop up.

If you need that much ads to pay for the app maybe you shouldn't have an app.

Again your pop up ads that pop up every 60-120 seconds, is a turn off to shopping and hinders your shopping experience and purchasing!

The app itself isn’t bad, it’s well designed and easy to understand how to use. That being said, it’s unbelievable that there are ads in this app. I’ve never seen a retail store have an app with ads in it. It completely ruins the shopping experience and makes me want to delete the app. These ads need to be removed from this app, immediately, if you want customers to be comfortable using your app. It’s very intrusive and annoying to have to wait for an ad when you were typing or scrolling or trying to view an item. No one wants a retail store app with ads in it! Could you imagine if Walmart or target or literally any other big retailer did the same thing?!

I’ve never been more compelled to write an app review, let alone a store one but the last thing I want to do while spending a thousand dollars on furniture is close out ads for mobile games every time I open a new window. Who was so cheap at big lots corporate that they thought instead of paying for a functioning mobile app for a customer to buy products off of, they’ll use it to generate Garbage ad revenue. This is so tacky for a major company. I’ll never call for someone’s job but this whoever came up with this idea needs to be reevaluated within the company

I’ve been a rewards member for years at Big Lots and I had my eye on an amazing recliner. The store salesmen recommend I use the weekly 20% coupon emailed to me. Come to find out I didn’t receive the coupon so he advised I call the customer service line and I was shocked to know that only select reward members were sent the coupon that week. The customer service representative was unable to tell me I was excluded from the coupon nor advise me on what to do to be selected for Thai coupon. I don’t understand the logic behind this but needless to say I have purchased my recliner else where where a discount was offered

While I like the store, this app is the worst store app I’ve ever used and I will be deleting it after leaving this review. Anytime I try to search or put some thing in the cart, or read information about an item there are full screen ads. The kind you would see if you were playing a free game. And in some cases it’s more than one ad in a row. These ads make it impossible to have any kind of good experience using this app.
Big lots needs to follow the standard formula for store apps, such as Home Depot, Walmart, target, etc. Where there is a small box displaying a static ad. Instead of playing constant full screen video ads.
Timewise there were more ads than me actually being able to use the Biglots app to purchase. Huge disappointment they really failed.

I very rarely leave app reviews and when I do it’s always for a positive reason. This is not that. This is not possibly it is THE WORST app I’ve ever used. Those crappy games that try to get you to buy coins every two seconds are less annoying because you know what you signed up for. I’ve never known a store to have pop up ads let alone ads every other second. It’s truly ridiculous. You can even try to place an order because every time you go to click something AD! Oh and there’s no back arrow. Like what the actual f***. So you’re searching stuff and click on something so you can get more info or add to cart dope but now you have to go back to the beginning and re scroll because there’s no back arrow and be prepared to wait through another 100 pop ups. Truly TRASH!

Like others have said the pop up ads are unbearable and make the app useless. I opened a Birthday Reward for the scannable barcode and an ad popped up immediately. I let that page with barcode sit open and ads just kept popping up. If I closed them, they came right back. And like another user stated you can’t browse without an ad popping up and then you lose what you were looking at and have to start all over. It’s the most frustrating unending cycle. And why does a company need to advertise irrelevant stuff? They must be getting paid to allow that. I wrote them an email about the torture that their app is, but I guess they make enough money or are getting plenty to have the ads, so they don’t care about their customer’s ease of use and sanity. It really shows you their greed and where their loyalties lie. Save yourself the headache and don’t waste the space on your phone.

Never in my life have I used an app and had pop ups ads, (so MANY) and for a competing company (Temu) no less! I’m wondering who the genius was behind that idea? Don’t get me wrong, I love Big Lots, (even when it was Pic n Save before that). But this app is the worse! I’m so glad I didn’t sign into my account. Who knows the amount of junk emails I’d get because I’m sure they would sell all my info to make a buck. I feel safer ordering through the website where I can at least “opt out” of selling my info, (but not convinced that’s true after experiencing the app).

Unusable. I think all the scattered positive reviews are fake.

This app serves pop-up ads. You know the annoying third party pop-up ads when you play free games in other apps? Like that. Except these ads are almost nonstop. This is in addition to static third party ad banners at the bottom.

It completely ruins the experience. It’s sensory overload and takes significantly more time to do anything. It’s difficult to even browse. I feel like I’m dodging land mines in an attempt to shop.

I’ve *neverseen a company make it so difficult to try to give them my money. A complete dumpster fire of an app. Someone should get fired for this.

Like others in the reviews. I discovered the app has pop-up ads like a game. There is no way to turn them off and you can’t even search an item without one popping up and having to wait to waive it away. You can’t go back after searching anything either you have to type the search in again…then guess what another ad pops up. Never in my 30 years have I had to deal with ads while shopping! I mean I am likely going to be giving the company a load of money so why do I need to be stopped every 5 seconds of browsing to watch an ad? I’m not exaggerating. I couldn’t do a single action without an ad popping up. Avoid this app at all costs! Use the site instead!

Hello, there are a couple of problems with the BigLots app that need to be addressed.

First off: none of the links here in the App Store work. The link to the Privacy Policy does not work - neither does App Support or Developer Website. They either head to a dead link or an internal index page. Apple requires a working link to a privacy policy (although I keep seeing this not working with different App Store listings, so I have no idea if Apple’s enforcing this).

Second problem: there’s a self-directed XSS (cross-site scripting) problem inside of the iOS app. A search for “” results in a XSS error.

Final problem: way too many ads! Almost unable to use the app. I liked BigLots in the US, but the advertising makes browsing the app nearly impossible.

I have never written an app review in my entire life, but it is TOO stupid for an official store app to have ads.

I don’t mean there’s ads for Big Lots - I mean this app has pop up ads for other companies you have to wait 5 seconds to skip. And there’s fixed position ads on every page.

The ad I just got on the landing page was a SCAM AD, designed to look like an official part of the app. Out of curiosity, I clicked it - and the scam website it links to starts asking for a credit card!

Big Lots! Someone’s grandma is going to get scammed out of their fixed income for the month bc they got confused on your terrible app!

I just know that their app developer tried to tell them that this was a god awful idea and someone higher up in the Big Lots command ignored them, and I pray they can slam this review down in a meeting and say “See I told you so - horrible idea”

Having to watch 10 advertisements when I already have to lease to own a couch is just
insult to injury please Big Lots I beg you have some decency
