FORMAL COMPLAINT – IMMEDIATE REFUND REQUIRED
I am formally documenting an unresolved failure to deliver and refund order #464459081, placed in 14 November 2025.
This order was for two shoe shelves. Only one item was delivered. The second item was never received.
After contacting customer service, I was informed the missing shelf would ship the following day. I received a UPS notification confirming shipment; however, the item was never delivered. Upon contacting the store again, I was told the shelf was broken and that no replacement was available.
I was advised I would receive a refund for the undelivered item. I explicitly stated that I would not have placed this order had I known only one shelf was available. At that point, I was told the refund required approval from a “partner.” I did not purchase from a partner — I purchased directly from your company. Any internal arrangements are not my responsibility.
Approximately one week later, I received an email stating that a refund had been issued, with no amount, no transaction ID, and no confirmation. As of December 18, 2025, no refund has been received.
When I called today to follow up, I was informed that the refund was never initiated at all, directly contradicting the prior written communication. I requested escalation to upper management and was told no upper management was available — only a duty manager.
Let me be very clear:
My payment was withdrawn from my bank immediately at the time of purchase. There is no justification for a refund for an undelivered item taking over a month — or not being processed at all.
This situation reflects a serious lack of accountability, internal control, and basic consumer protection compliance. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will proceed with a formal chargeback, file complaints with consumer protection agencies, and document this experience publicly.
I expect:
1. Immediate confirmation that the refund has been processed
2. The exact refunded amount
3. A transaction/reference number
4. A clear explanation for why false refund confirmation was issued
This is, without question, the worst purchasing and return experience I have encountered. I expect this issue to be resolved without further delay.
