Bath & Body Works Direct shower gels / employee

The employee at this store that rung me up was not friendly. When I took my purchase up to the register and sat it down, the cashier asked if I was ready, I said yes, then saw something else I wanted to look at, that I'd be ready in a minute, she then gave an attitude like I was bothering her. I bought shower gels that were 75% off, I added up my total (as I always do at any store) and it should have came to approx. $15, cashier told me my total was approx. $23. I asked if everything rung up the right price because my estimate was not that high, she said yes, without even looking at anything, I said well, it shouldn't have been that much, then I'll have to put some back because I did not come up with that much, only then did she look at the receipt and say, "Oh, wait, there's something else on there." She then came up with the total I did, a little over $15. So I'm wondering, had I not said something, if I didn't total my purchase myself, if I would have been charged for that "something else that was on my total", and not even know until I got home, that I was over charged, and would have had to make another trip to the store, then I'm guessing it would have just been my word against hers, that that something else was not in my bag, but on the receipt. The store is in North Hanover Mall, Hanover, PA. 1/13/17. Trans: 9442. Reg: 004. Cashier: 1506340. Store: 80664 Till: 1004. 3:59 PM. Sku on receipt: [protected]. Total: $15.23. 7 items purchased.

You are not ready if you wish to look at something else. If you say you are ready and then do this, you are an inconvenience to the staff and other customers.

Bath & Body Works Direct product availability, product price & quality

Bought a lotion during the holidays that was very popular but stores kept running out of it. Doesn't make sense when you have a product everyone likes & the stores don't replenish it but you keep trying to sell that awful Twilight Woods, Japanese Cherry Blossom & Thousand Wishes. It's overkill & isn't moving half as fast as the Frosted Coconut Snowball scent I fell in love with... Along with many other people. Alot of the scents have a very weak fragrance & are starting to all smell the same. Rose smelling scents smell like funeral flowers. There are very few scents I enjoy in this store anymore. Packaging changes but that's all. Miss the slippers & robes though. I also don't like the fact that you keep changing the hand sanitizer sizes & have to keep buying new holders to accommodate the new SMALLER size! Why did you get rid of the lotion holders for the key rings? They were so convenient & kept you from digging in your purse. Lastly, the prices are ridiculous. Plain & simple. The $10 off of $40 even more ridiculous. What a ripoff. I really used to enjoy shopping @ this store but now it's just disappointing. Same ol' crap, different bottle. My visits are limited due to the fact, nothing changes. Will go back to buying drug store lotion.

Well, I for one LOVE the Japanese Cherry blossom! So, don’t that there aren’t a lot of us who happen to love this particular scent

Bath & Body Works Direct coupons and customer service

Hi,
I just got home and I am so upset and disappointed.
My family and I just came from bath and body works located at Lake Jackson, Texas, we went shopping for hand soaps ( sale $2.75 ) and a body cream ($13). I got my some coupons, one of the them was 20%off on entire purchase (this coupon I got it through mail), other coupon was free item with $10 purchase (this coupon I got it from my mail).
I was going to buy 4 bottles of hand soap, one body cream, and $1 Christmas hat accessorie. I wanted to use my 20% off and get my free item coupon, but cashier said I could not use both coupons in same transaction, I always use them like that, but she didn't even try to scan them. She refuse to scan both coupons in same transaction, I even explained to her that I have use coupons online like this and it always works, she refused to try, even when I asked her nicely and many times, worst part is that I went shopping to get relax, and my blood pressure went high, I left mad, sad, and disappointed. I can't upload pictures but I have my coupons here.

Bath & Body Works Direct customer service

Made an online purchase of 28 items. Merchandise arrived today. Merchandise left at front door. When I opened it, the box was full of glass. Several of the candles were shattered, glass was everywhere in the box. Several of the pump soaps had glass and holes in them..They obviously were not usable. My order was 28 pieces. There was 26 of the pieces that I had ordered and an invoice someone else's order and their order was not in the box. I called customer service, waited 41minutes to find out if I could return it to the store and if I had to bring back just the damaged merchandise and the invoice. Associate asked for the invoice # and when I gave it to her she said was not enough. I repeated it to more times and she it wasn't a good #. I asked her if she could look it up and she said no. I said what should do? Take / or send back the order with the glass everywhere. She hung up on me

Placed an order for 28 pieces on line for gifts. Arrived today. Box sounded like broken glass. Delivered when I wasn't t home. Opened to find 5 broken glass in tops of pump soap and not the right number of pieces. I also received an invoice for someone else order . It had 1 piece on the invoice but the item was not in the box. It was packed very poorly with loose candles and loose fragrance. Called customer service . Waited 41 minutes to speak to someone on the phone. Asked if I could take items to store to exchange them Asked if I had to bring all items in because it saws a big mess. Was told my order number number had two more numbers in it she could Not look it up I started to yell about what should I do about it and she hung up on me.I have been a Limited brands manager and that isn't how we talk to people
Maybe you could tell what to do?

Bath & Body Works Direct scented candle

I recently purchased a Island Margarita Candle and a beautiful candle holder from bath and body works, but the candle caught on fire and burst inside of the candle holder. Wax was everywhere!. I am so shocked that this happened. If I was too close to the candle, I would have caught on fire with the candle. It was very scary. I think a warning label should be placed on the candle holders that are being sold because if the heat from the candle gets too hot, the candle glass will break and cause the wax to drip into the bottom of the metal candle holder and cause a fire due to the heat. I have to repaint the entire area where the candle was burning since wax went everywhere!

I am too scared to buy another candle from Bath and Body Works.

Bath & Body Works Direct overcharged

today 12-06-15 I went to bath and body in the prien lake mall. I had a coupon that says free Item with the purchase of $10.00 or more. Any Item up to $13.00 or more. Well I got two Items both were half price and still it should have been a total of $14.75. I got an item which cost $16.50 which should have been free right. Wrong she only took half off one of the half price item and used the other one for my free and charged me the full price and discounted the free one $3.33. What should have been a purchase of $15.00 was a purchase of $21.63 it does not seem like much but when you have a budget for Christmas you need all can get. Did not notice of course until I got home and I live 40 minutes away . Should not have to make another trip these people should know how to do coupons Or atleast tell the customer what she is doing.

Bath & Body Works Direct wallflower air freshener/fragrance

Dear Bath and Body Works Representative,

I woke up to find a wallflower had tipped over (unstable bottom) on my dining room table and removed the finish from a 2" x 14' area. It had been unplugged from my kitchen while the contractor was regrouting my tile countertop.

I used my bare hands to clean the product up (table still sticky) and realized my skin was irritated. I called poison control immediately and they said the wallflower was a dermal irritant. Your packaging does not warn against this.

I have copied the NC Attorney General's Office and would like restitution for my table top and possibly any medical bills from the dermal irritant. My skin is still irritated and will hopefully heal soon. Please send any advice about cleaning the table or my skin.

I purchased the wall flowers and had it in one of my rooms, the scent was so strong I had to take it out of the room and laid it on my dresser, not knowing that it would leak it ruined my very expensive triple dresser! there is nothing on the item to say not to lay it down cause it might leak. Now I am getting estimates to refinish my furniture and they want $475 to repair the top of my dresser. What the heck is in this product that it should cause so much damage, and not only that what the heck are we breathing in!. Bath and body works should put warnings on their products, and they should be paying for my furniture to be repaired

Bath & Body Works Direct they mixed orders and didn't refund on time

I bought two body creams from the company www.bathandbodyworks.com. I got them on time, but these idiots mixed the creams. They delivered cream with the smell of nuts, but I have allergy. I immediately returned the order. I told the seller that it was unprofessional and they needed to check all order, but they didn’t reply and still haven’t refunded me. I will never again buy from them.

Bath & Body Works Direct they provided almost empty bottles

I ordered 4 creams from www.bathandbodyworks.com. I would say that the products are overcharged a little bit, but it was affordable. I thought that the company was professional and there wouldn’t be any problems, but I was mistaken. They overcharged me and provided almost empty bottles. I was disappointed in such services. It isn’t appropriate for such company to provide such awful services.

Bath & Body Works Direct new return policy

I just decided to never purchase a gift at Bath and Body Works again. The two store store that I shop in Elk Grove Village and Scaumburg, IL, have a new return policy and use an outside contractor to track returns

I had to make returns for various reasons, changed mind, defective product, etc. After 6 returns, I received a warning that I could not make a return for 90 days. What a total insult after spending $200.00 at Bath and Body Works in the year 2011.

Honestly, there products are not a great quality. With the competition as it is, I hope there two stores close.

Bath & Body Works Direct offer not honored

I put three orders for body lotions (cream) -55 bottles- in its web page and all three were cancelled without any explanation. Company didn´t want to honored its offer of 75% off and then changed offer to only 50% off. I made my order on time. It is not fair.

Just so you know in some cultures it is rude to call a grown woman "girl" Anyways before making fun of anyone's English learn how to spell it is crazy, not cwazy. Maybe drug abuse made you not know this?

And blame the parents here, I agree with you that calling fully grown women as girls is rude but get a life. Why argue with someone who cannot even spell "crazy"

Two years ago I had this issue, I found out I was mistaken, but I have two teenagers arguing with each other because their are too ignorant to stay on topic.

I agree with blame the parents here that calling an adult woman a girl is pretty rude. However I should have made an update about this. It turned out that some of the items were 50 percent off and some of the items were 75 percent off. I only found this out after I went to the store again, and found out that if it had a blue tag on it only then it was 75 percent off.

Blame the parents get a life, and respond to the person posting the review instead of attacking a commenter.

I went to bath and body works in Ingram mall in San Antonio 1 of the shower gels rang up at .55 cents this one girl asked another girl if that was correct so then they start talking about it and decide all by themselves that they were gonna change the price to $3 due to policy and where's the policy that shows u can't sell a product that rings up at .55 they probably wanted to keep it for themselves I told them I didn't want it because they kept switching the prices on it is a Semiannual sale! I'm not asking for the item to be free just honor me the price the system is saying

Bath & Body Works Direct poor customer service

I have had poor service from your company site. I placed a order, got confirmation that it was in stock then 4 days later, I received cancellation. This store fails to stock products of high demand. When the product line is mentioned to any staff, on line or in store, they all say it is a very popular line. It is not available, why? I think it is because you place these particulars in stores on line with a huge price mark up, over and above non sale retail. I would think you would value product reviews and carry what is popular and sought after...SHAME ON YOU!

I called customer support because I had used and stacked coupons in store and decided to order more but online it would not let me so I asked why she said 2 totally different systems which is awful when you should be able to just like at the store and then I send can I speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me and I never was rude I just wanted my deals.

Bath & Body Works Direct bathtub stain

We have been using BBW shower Gel in our fiberglass bathtub for 13 years. Gradually, it developed a yellow stain that matches the color dye in their Vanilla Shower Gel (note the stain IS NOT bathtub ring ... it is on all surfaces where water sits). Vanilla has been shower gel of choice for all these years. After contacting their corporate Customer Service Supervisor we were pleased with her promptness and attention to our 'issue'. However, once she learned that we were not seeking damages, we were pushed aside ... sigh ...

I HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH THIS POS FOR TWO YEARS AND HAVE ONE MORE TO GO BEFORE I CAN CHANGE, IT HAS BEEN A POS SINCE DAY ONE, I SHOULD HAVE RESEARCHED THIS DECISION BETTER AND CAREFULLY.

Bath & Body Works Direct product leaking on furniture

I received a Bath & Body Works Wallflower as a gift from a co-worker a couple of weeks ago. I plugged the unit in the wall and the smell was so strong that my husband complained about it. I then took the unit out of the wall and laid it on my bedroom vanity. A couple of days later, I was bothered by the strong smell so I moved it to my guest bedroom and laid it on an anitque dresser my mother gave me. When I returned to work after Christmas, one of my co-workers said her Wallflower had leaked on her dining table and took the finish off and to make sure we didn't lay ours on any furniture. When I got home, I went to check and make sure mine wasn't and it had leaked out a big spot about 8 inches in diameter and when I wiped it, the paint came off of my antique dresser. I then went and checked the vanity where I had placed it before I moved it and it also had a place about four incehes in diameter where the wallflower had leaked out fragrance and the paint came off on this piece of furniture as well. This is very upsetting to me because my mother gave me both of these pieces of furniture and both will have to be refinished. If you can't take a fragrance unit out of the wall and lay it somewhere, what are you supposed to do with it? I would not recommend this product to anyone. If I had purchased the product myself, I would request a refund but since it was a gift, I still wish I had my furntiure refinished since it is ruined!

Looking to see if anyone had my issue and I find all of this. Had two new wallflower plugs and bulbs, both leaked. Damaged my baseboard and my butcher block counter top! I’m so upset.

Yes absolutely! When it happened once I thought it was a fluke. It damaged my baseboard with a brown sticky mess that came out of the sides and the bottom. I threw it away. It happened a 2nd time also eating the paint off the baseboard and leaving the same sticky substance. I called the store and was told they had never heard of this happening. I’ve been using them for years and never had this problem in the past.

Yep! I’m so pissed off, just got new flooring and baseboards and there’s two spots at dripped and I can’t get it off.

Insane😡😡 So done with bath and body works wallflowers ! Destroyed the shelves about two of them. One in the laundry room and one in the kitchen , the oil didn’t even touch them, so it had to be the fumes , smh. They are that toxic that the oil don’t need to even touch anything for it to eat away at something?

I’m so done with bath and body works wallflowers! They are the paint of my shelf above the wf in the laundry room and destroyed the shelf in my kitchen above it. Smh. It’s ridiculous how it can even eat up paint above it and it’s not even on it. So the fumes fro the wallflower floating up are toxic enough to do that without the oil even having to touch it ? That’s ridiculous .

I also had one that got knocked over by accident. By the time i noticed it had stained the sheet that was on table and also removed varnish off my good dining room table. This is awful!

Spilled on TV hutch and dining table same day. Was cleaning the base boards and put the Bath & Body works plugins on the tables Next thing I know about a table spoon of liquid stained my table tops. Used wood paste dye to try and fix

I am so disappointed there is no warning on the product in regards to it leaking and ruining furniture. I use my wildflower aroma scents in a children’s play room. It was left on a child’s play kitchen over the weekend. I returned and found it had leaked and ran down the painted wall. It ruined the kids play kitchen as well as a mural in the room. Please place labels and advertise that it is unsafe if left not monitored. Also that it will remove varnish from items. Can’t be safe for children areas.

Our wallflower leaked also and took off some of the bathroom sink finish(its nothing fancy but that's besides the point...it cost me money I DONT have), and other places they have leaked... What the hack is in this product?! Acid, bleach?!?! Sheesh, Angry doesn't even scratch the surface... I'd opt for candles but they don't burn long especially for almost $30, not worth it.

Plugged mine in leaked out the back into wall outlet, ate oulet and had smoke spot. Used for many years but past 2 years have been terrible. They dont smell and catch on fire

Mine did the exact same thing! Left a round mark on the socket where it was plugged in, which seemed like it melted the socket plastic, and the bottom part of the socket was brown with leaked essential oils. Not sure if it was the scent bottle that was faulty, or the wallflower itself. But this is terrible!

Bath & Body Works Direct coupon mess up

Well I had a 'Get a free item with any $10 purchase' Coupon, and to make up the $1o I got 3 travel sized items at $5 each, put there is a deal for 3 for $10, so I got those. I did not bring the free item I was going to choose up to the checkout counter, and the cashier redeemed my coupon and said that 2 of the things totaled up to $10 and I get the 3rd one free, but really the deal is 3 for $10 on travel sized items, then I was going to get a full-sized lotion for my free item. I was guessing the cashier was new, despite the fact that she was not aware of the travel sized deal, and I had to show her all the signs and it took her 10 minutes to realize and let me go get a free item! It really bugged me!

The cashier should have known what the sale was for the travel sized items, but why wouldnt you take the free item to the cash register? They would have just made you get out of line to get the free item anyways...

I just had an issue with their $10 off of $40 purchase online. My purchase totaled exactly $40 and it took the $10 off, but after the order was processed, a screen popped up saying two of the items were no longer available. When I hit the button to complete the order, the total was for a little over $38, but then after the thing popped up saying the two items weren't available, it was close to $48 and that's what they charged my card. Because the items weren't available, my total was under $40 and I didn't get the $10 off. This is not right at all. The only reason I spent that much was because I had the $10 off coupon. Every other site tells you before processing your order if an item is no longer available, but they do not. Had I known it wasn't available, I would have picked out other things to make the order over $40. I called them to complain and was told there was nothing they could do about it & that they couldn't cancel the order. I've spend a lot of money with them over the years and will NEVER shop with them again, either online or in the store, after this.

Bath & Body Works Direct not only did they fail to give the promised item, but they then fished for more money from me

I recently went to Bath and Body works where they had a buy three get two free sale. I provided my receipt to the clerk. She rang it up. I had a lot of things to do this day so I hurriedly finished my errands and went home. Upon arriving home I discovered that they only rang up four of my five items and had not given me a free item. I called the store and was put on hold repeatedly. Finally, I logged on and submitted a complaint via the internet and even provided them with a store location and receipt number for verification. I was told to call for a one on one discussion. Upon calling I spoke to a woman named Denise who advised me that she would send me a $10.00 gift certificate so that I could buy the free item that they failed to ring up. Three weeks later I received a buy one get one free coupon. Not only did they fail to give the promised item, but they then fished for more money from me.

Loyal I would find their phone number to that store and complain about her. If you still have the receipt, it should have the cashiers information (emp number, name, etc). I am not one to do complaining to a manager but if a employee treated me like that you bet I would have complained. If you dont want to call I know if you go on their fan page on facebook and post the complaint onto the wall they might help you there. Just a thought. Good luck. To cormille-did they end up sending you the gift card?

I encountered the worst sales person ever at a store in Columbus Georgia. Her name was Stephanie and I don't think she likes working for Bath and Body Works. She single handledly ruined my shopping experience. She was very dry, she didn't speak to me when I came in and it was like she was reading a script when I was checking out. Afterward she shoved my merchandise at me in a "hurry up and leave kind of fashion."I love the products and I would hate to discontinue shopping there. Please make necessary adjustments to the staff at the Whittlesey Blvd store. Thanks.

Bath & Body Works Direct serious eye injury

I splashed a minute amount of this product--watered down--into my eye. Two weeks later I am still being treated for a chemical burn which has done significant damage to my eye. There are NO warnings on the bottle of any kind to say that this product could do this. No phone numbers to call--nothing. I rinsed immediately with water but the damage was done. I have been through two weeks of agony and may be facing permanent damage to my eye. This stuff is DANGEROUS.

Bath & Body Works Direct why I haven't I recieved my card?

I had recieved an email stating that i could win an FREE $500 gift card from Bath & Body Works. All you have to do is jus do the requirements & that I did. I did eveything that i was required to do. What I don't understand is if I spent my money doing the suvery as it was asked in which i did. Now why haven't I recieved an email stating that my FREE $500 Gift Card will be shipped to me in 6-8 weeks? I would like to either get my money back for the survey that ive completed or send me my FREE $500 Gift Card

Bath & Body Works Direct changed product

You had a wonderful Creamy Bath Wash which you have replaced with triple cream cleanser which does not lather, burns the mucosa (if you know what I mean) and does not wash off. It is more cream than soap. Sorry you just lost me as a loyal customer unless you bring back the Creamy Bath Wash!

Bath & Body Works Direct caused health problems

I recently bought a Wallflower pluggable fragrance set from Bath and Body works during their Semi annual sale. I came home and put it in my bedroom hoping to get a nice fragrance all day long. But instead it filled my bedroom with this smell which made feel nauseous and I had watery eyes. I opened the window in my room thinking it must be something else but still I felt the same. Now everything in my room smells of it. My bed sheets and clothes and even my hair. Even when I goto work I get that lingering smell from my hair no matter how much perfume I use. I removed it the same day from my room. But I still have that nauseous feeling. I am sure they use some chemicals that have caused it. It must have definetely given out some fumes that penetrated deep inside my bedding and clothes and my hair.
I will be going to the doctor tomorrow to get a check up. I checked on BBW website they dont have any phone numbers given and all I could do is fill out a form which I am sure they will not be bothered about checking.
Damage Resulting = This product affected my health. I am feeling nauseous since I put this in my bedroom and hair smells of the wallflower scent due to which I keep on feeling nauseous all day long.

I also have been getting a dull headache usually about an hour after I plug in the apple wallflower. Will have to throw it out and probably pollute nature. Sad bbw isn't more careful.

Years ago, I frequented Bath & Body Works and had no issues. I cannot even walk by the store now without feeling nauseous and dizzy. I had a coworker who used one of their lotions in our shared office for months. I felt terribly sick every day and couldn't eat while there until I told them about my sensitivity and begged them to stop using it. My symptoms stopped once the scent was removed from my workplace.

I try to avoid scented products but have noticed that some perfumes and lotions, while not appreciated, don't make me sick. Bath & Body Works products are a constant trigger for me.

After reading a lot of these comments I’m pretty much convinced that it’s the Bath & Body Works Wallflowers that have made my eyes fill up with some sort of a thin mucus like substance and I have been rubbing my eyes red and raw for the last 3 straight days to the point I was getting pretty mad. 3 days ago I flew from my home in Vegas to St Louis, MO, to help my cousin get settled at home after cancer surgery and my eyes were perfectly fine. I get home and it’s been very annoying since I see nothing in them but it feels like there’s something in them, non stop. I can’t even put on any eye make up but I had this prob before I left, so I’m about to pull them all. I can spray Lysol if I want to make it smell nice and that does not mess up my eyes, vision, or general health. I thought BBW had quality stuff but far from it. Thought they were a reputable name that could be trusted but far from it too. Shame on you BBW.

I have tried on and off for years to use wall flowers. Even when I plug them in in the basement, the scent circulates and I get a headache and nausea. I give up.

Not only do the wallflowers make me feel terrible, my cat had a terrible reaction as well. He started panting, drooling and hiding. When I finally go home to come out of hiding, he was having trouble walking, so I rushed him to the emergency vet. By the time the vet was able to see him (away from the house for about 25 minutes), he was fine. I brought him home, and within the hour, he was panting and drooling again. It took me a full day to realize the issue, after a friend reminded me that cats can be sensitive to essential oils. I unplugged all of the plug ins, and he hasn’t had an episode since…

I started using Wallflowers and not long after was diagnosed with Blepharitis, a chronic eye infection (weepy eyes, somewhat like pink eye) that I had never experienced before. Over $100 with insurance for eye drops that didn’t work well. It eventually went away. I noticed the Wallflower was empty and replaced it. My “chronic eye infection” came back. I started wondering why I was having this issue since I had only developed it about 4 months earlier and decided it might be related to the Wallflowers. I quit using them and, lo and behold, have not had any symptoms since (in several months). I’m sure it was connected with the Wallflowers.

I have discovered Im severely allergic to the BBW candles & body lotion. I'm in tears because they are so relaxing & everyone compliments me on how great i smell almost everyday. After suffering for 11 months with constant ear & sinus infections I have bagged it all up. 2 different ENTs advised me earlier in the year to stop using them. Ok so I'm stubborn ... Until today. I've just been diagnosed with my 7th sinus & ear infection this year.

I have been experiencing the same symptoms with the wallflowers. My roommate purchases them and I always un-plug them because I keep telling her these wallflowers make my throat sore and sinuses flare and I never get sick. There are some extremely toxic chemicals in these wallflowers and I will be contacting the company to find out the ingredients.

I just purchased some "fall" wallflower scents. I've never had a problem before...i had it plugged in my bathroom and it was so strong I unplugged it and set it on the counter to kind of "give it a break." I just went into the bathroom to find that the wallflower was tipped over and the liquid had run out and onto my mascara and eyeliner that were sitting on the counter. I picked those items up and I'm completely shocked...it ate away half of my eyeliner (all of the covering and labeling down to the wood) and my mascara looks like it has a burn mark on it from the plastic melting. I picked those items up and washed them. Started to wipe the counter and it was starting to eat away at that as well! I quickly washed my hands (3 times or more). I love bath and body works but this is terrifying. Is there battery acid in these things? We have these in our homes with our children and our pets! No more! Oh yeah and forgot to mention...this all happened in less than 3 hours...awesome B&B 👎

Sinus issues...NO. Nausea...YES!
My room mate swears his "stomach" issues are due to the Wallflower Plug-In scents. I have no symptoms but he chronically feels bad in his stomach and head every time the wall units are plugged in. We disagree back and forth (I plug them in and he UN-PLUGS again). I am finally reconsidering after reading the reviews whether a Wallflower Plug-In can actually be toxic to some individuals. I love the aroma but I think I will definitely not use the product in hopes my room mate will feel better before scheduling a doctor's appointment.
