I had a bad experience with BASS Medical Group. Some lady named *** called my mom in ***, *** to talk about my medical bill even though I'm a grown-up. I'm so mad at her and think she broke my rights as a patient and HIPAA. They don't act nice and don't explain why they're calling. They want you to give your payment stuff on the phone instead of a safe website.

I got billed for something I didn't do at BASS Medical Group. It seems like the doctor just wanted to hit his quota. He works at the surgical place and also has a med spa. I'm related to his business partner and they both made money from this scam. They used my info and now I'm getting bills that I didn't pay. This guy only knows how to make money through scams. I got sick and had to go to the hospital in ***, *** from June 3-6, 2021. The Bass Medical Group (***) took care of me. They charged me for the same amount that my insurance (Physicians Mutual) had already paid. I didn't know that my insurance had paid ($98.62) and I paid again because there was a due date. I've been asking for a refund since July, but I feel like they're playing games with me. I'm super annoyed and just want my money back.

Not happy with the service - I'm supposed to have surgery on Feb.1, 2022, but it was moved from Jan. 4th, 2022 because of too many patients in the hospital. They only told me about the cancellation 4 days before the surgery, which they said was because of COVID. I didn't get any information about the Jan. 4th surgery, but that was my fault for not checking. Every time I call the office to talk to the surgery coordinator, she's either on break, vacation, or not there. I contacted the coordinator about the Feb. 1st surgery, but I didn't get any details about what to do or where to go. I got an email on Jan. 11th with details about the procedure, but it said I needed lab work and an EKG before that date. I thought I would get those instructions by email, but I didn't. I called the coordinator, and she told me to come to BASS MEDICAL for the lab work and go to window E for the EKG. The doctor has been good, but the staff hasn't been very helpful. If I didn't need the surgery so badly, I would go somewhere else. This isn't the first time the staff has been careless. When I went for a consultation, I was weighed and put in a room to wait for the doctor. A nurse came in and told me I needed a PULMUNARY FUNCTION test before we could talk about the procedure. I didn't question it and went home with the paper. When I got home, I realized the paper was for another patient. This is a violation of HIPPA and confidentiality. I've made mistakes too, but I don't think patients should be responsible for knowing what to do. I wouldn't recommend this office, even though the doctor is good.

I went to BASS Medical Group and it was pretty good. The doctors were nice and they helped me with my problem. The office was clean and the wait wasn't too long. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to see a doctor.

Bass Medical Group has been billing me for $60 that I already paid. It's frustrating because I've called them so many times, but nothing seems to get resolved. The last time I called, the customer service person said they would talk to their "boss." In September, I sent them my bank statements that showed I paid $41.55 on May 24th and $20 on August 27th. But Bass said they didn't receive those payments. I'm even more confused because my most recent bill from January 22nd says I still owe $60, and it doesn't show that I paid $40 on January 6th. The $40 check came out of my account on January 16th. I've already sent them all the paperwork they asked for, but nothing seems to change.

I went to BASS Medical Group's Black Hawk spot - Walk in clinic - for a fast check up 'cause my throat was hurting like crazy. I asked if my *** covered it, and they said yeah. The doc only checked my throat and said nothing was wrong, but I kept telling him it hurt bad. I asked if he could give me something to make it stop, and he gave me Anti-viral meds that worked. When we finished, I asked if I had to pay, and they said "No, you're good to go," so I left. But last week, I got a bill for $213.22, and when I looked at it, they charged me $429.00 just for the OFFICE VISIT! That's way too much, man. If I knew beforehand, I would've gone somewhere else! My insurance only covered half, so now I gotta pay $213.22 for just a visit. It's a total rip-off!
