My dad was approved for reimbursement for long term care. We were waiting for the elimination period to end even though we had applied last year and the paperwork was misplaced. on Oct. 21, 2009 we received a denial letter saying my dad was not going to be cognitively impaired for at least 90 days. This is unlikely since my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimers since at least 2008 and the registered nurse evaluated him. He could not answer any of the questions except that the year was 1932. I am disappointed and angry that they would approve and then deny someone who can not put his shoes on the correct foot, wash his face, and use the toilet, and has to be returned by sheriffs and the police when he gets out and gets confused. He must get assistance for all adl's. He cannot get his own meals or shop or drive. This company looks for a way to not pay even if the insured has been insured for at least 6 years of payments. They did not believe the doctors so they sent a nurse to evaluate, "actually to deny" . How sad.. the truth of the matter is Alzheimers strikes every family somewhere on the family tree. They will be humbled when they experience first hand all the stumbling barriers, sadness, scariness, lack of compassion of those not YET touched by this horrible disease.

    i belive with this company it is what it is, they need sales and will bring sales in anyway possible and there method of pay dont know if just the office i know but the term keep the rich rich and the poor poor goes into pay after you invest money which is ok you need tool for any job but the turn comes in where the paid staff key word paid!! takes 50% of your pay and tells you this is so you can watch and learn the paid staff already gets a 40% over ride so the get 50% of what you bring to the table and the company gives them a 40% over ride which is for teaching younger agents the paid staff use the new agents for turn and burn and take the extra 50% which is in reality to be used between non paid agents for working together. The stress is high they force you into bringing your money to there table and tell you how great it is with the promise of great pay this is a very misleading company not to mention what the do to there clients if you become one the promise of good money and helping others is in everyones heart now take a company that takes that brings you in when your most in need takes advantage of it tells you if your not making enough money then you not loving your family enough.NOT to mention what happens to your bank account and the people you tried to help afterwards...horror story in it self but im taking one thing the office taught me !!!get ready bankerslife and caus. for the people i helped and the people i saw you crush by taking there hard earned money by having thieves running your company you are going to be held accountable!!!
