Security deposit issue
More than month now and they just fool that security deposit has been transferred and is under process.
Please help what should I do
Car rental
The worse customer experience ever. Covid time, the least you expected is the cleanliness of the car. They delivered a bin. I was furious with this and contacted the management without answer. (the car driver was also 2 hours late to bring it and we had to report to the next day with again 2 hours lateness) but the cherry on top of the cake was the return of the car : all was good. As per the driver our 750 aed deposit will be back after 2 weeks.
One month later, we started to ask for it. Answer was as below: no deposit to be back as :
• we were charged 200aed for pick up the car (to get it delivered at the beginning it s 35 aed but 200 aed after.?)
• our mistake, we got a parking fine as it was not à dubaï plate (150 aed) but they charged 250 aed. How?
• we were charged 200 aed for the cleanliness of the car while we got a trash at the beginning.. Why? Is this a joke
• let s not talk about the extra salik charged, the poor customer service and the management staying silence.
Worse company ever.

Car rentals
Please avoid renting car from this company. They are atrocious and unreasonable. This company announced in may 2020 on fb a promotional scheme under which I booked a car and got one, however from bab al madeena cars rentals. The car was in such a worst condition that it was not even honking; the plastic cover over the gear was broken; a/c was not functioning; it was not even cleaned properly. I reported these problems to them. A new car was given to me after 24 hours. Since they did not work on fridays, I took the car on a wednesday 5 pm so that I could return it the following saturday at 5 pm (3 days rental). I got the car delivered at my home for which I paid separately; but I personally went to their office and returned the car on saturday before 5 pm at al moosa office. Every one was working and they received the car back. They took as many as 36 days to return the deposit after deducting aed 210 from my deposit of aed 750. Shocking. I was told that if I returned the car after 2 pm on saturday I will have to pay aed 210 as penalty as per their general terms and conditions. Their website shows that they work for 24 hours. I took up with ms. Claire and mr ahmed. Ms. Claire replied in one or two sentences but quoted "company policy" and that 24-hours is for their call centre. Mr ahmed had the audacity to say that it was a contract and that I was not his neighbour, family or friend for him to oblige; as per contract, they will deduct and that they do not care about online reviews or customer feedback. I asked him to take a day's rent and remit the balance to me but he refused. I would urge all those renting a car from this company to be careful. There are lots of conditions on the back of the form that enable them to fleece and cheat the customers. By applying their standard conditions to the promotional scheme they have cheated me as aforesaid and made me pay more under a remote condition. There is no mechanism either to redress your grievances. Be careful and avoid them. Their sense of customer service is pathetic and hopeless. Don't lose your hard earned money especially in these times of covid-19. They are unreasonably making deductions from your deposit quoting their company policy and that is how their staff have been tutored to speak to customers. They are punishing their customers. Nothing more to add.
Rent a car
I renter a car from bab al madeena. The condition of the car was very bad. They took a deposit of 750 aed from me. I returned the car at 4.50 pm on Thursday and they cut 200 aed from my deposit saying that I did not return at 1pm. no information was given to me verbally about this. They always conveniently say ‘you ve signed an agreement maam! Very unprofessional and not at all customer friendly! Please AVOID THEM ! And I wish to mame a complaint against them!
They are fraud and police is involved
Can't believe this is happening in Dubai and yet they are getting away with this, I rented a car from them about 3 months ago and they never refunded my deposit so I put a complaint to Dubai police and they asked me to contact CID, and CID asked me to contact customer right and I contacted them and I got a call from customer right and again can't believe how unprofessional the caller was and he didn't even let me talk and told me that you didn't read the contract and the car wasn't washed therefore you have no right to complain or take your money back so I sent an email to all these departments (police, CID, customers right ) yet no response from all these 3 hopeless departments so now I have decided to take action from from Australia and contact Abu Dhabi's embassy and force them to take action against this fraud company . Guys if you have been cheated let's please all raise our voice as it's not just about the money it hurts that they take advantage and cheat you and yet no one is doing anything about it . Let's all make the Dubai police responsible so they take action and shut this company .
I am currently renting from them. And it’s my biggest mistake! Poor customer service poor car condition. Everything is bad and I’m worried that I won’t get my deposit back also just like the other people who rented cars with this company 😔
This is the worst company and DED os not helping with the issue. What can be done to get our deposit back without deductions for “late delivery” when the staff is not available to collect the vehicle.
I agree with you the police and DED are allowing this company to operate in such a scam manor. But the biggest loser is going to be Dubai as is damaging the image.

Never return deposit, fake faults, open fake civil cases
I rented a car for a month in jan 2019. I never got my deposit back till now and when returning the car they made me get police report for a tiny dent that 9 out of 10 people can not see when doing initial car check and I have a suspection that it was made by one of their staff on purpose when I went up to their office and left the car in the parking lot. They wanted me to pay 2.000 aed for repare that I refused to pay. Though deposit was supposed to be credited after 30 days I haven t rscieve it till noe and 1 year and 3 months later they sent me civil case application form by whatsapp claiming 47.000 aed for I don't know what!
What happened at the end?
Hi, I lodge a complaint too but police is absolutely hopeless and I can’t believe it so why not we all send email to police, CID and customer right department again and make them take action and also any country your located contact the embassy of Abu Dhabi and get them to contact the the police as well . Thanks

Avoid this company as you can. And I will explain you why,
I rent a car from them for a month, first was Maga durty, outside have major accidents, I say OK I was in hurry and I received, Car was 1390 aed per month. Any way on renewing they ask for 1990 aed for a Renault symbol scrab car as condition so I cancel, I give them deposit 1000 aed and they say after 25 working day will refund. This never happened. They give reason of extra km salik and raod violations. On top of this they open CIVIL CASE for a 160 aed wich was not fare any way now this company is asking 10600 aed. So my advice to you Don't ever rent car From this company!
Partial refund of the security deposit

i have taken rent a car from Bab al Madeena, on 19th Oct 19, i had paid 750 AED as the deposit, i returned the car on 26th Oct, my car number was M68029, i had cleard all the outstanding payment through Cash (salik and other charges) before returning the car, i was told my security deposit will be reimbursed in 21 days.
Now i have received 633AED instead of 750 AED i called the reception of BAB al madeena, they say Salik was pending which is a lie as all the Salik between 19th Oct till 25th for the vehicle M68029 was paid in full.
Can someone look into this, it is gross cheating practice and cannot be tolerated.
Report it to police. They are fraud and scam number of people in UAE.

Scam on security deposit
I rented a car in Dubai from Bab Al Madeena car rentals in May 2018. Found this company online and they offered very attractive price. After 10 days I returned the car in its original condition (just without disgusting cigarette smell) and was promissed to get back my deposit back to the credit card within a month. Never got it and they just ignore me now. Total amount of this scam is around 400 usd.
I'm facing the same problem.
I received a disgusting smelly car with a dead battery and spare tire.
Unfortunately, I fell for their trap. They offered me a special rate for 3 months rental. But after the first month, they increased the rate without informing me and charged extra 500 dhs
They did not honor the initial agreement.
Also, they have hidden fees on th back page of the rental contract. They only ask you to read and sign the front page so that you don't find out about the absurd hidden fees on the back.
They are cheater, no one is responding on time. Every discussion on whatsapp only They deduct from security deposit, but not giving answer. Requested for statement from them but again no answer.
These bogus companies giving lucrative price to trap customer not to retain.
Bab Al Madeena rent a car company
They will charge on your deposit without any reason. They will not disclose anything properly and say it is mentioned in your contract and will deduct money from your deposit.
They gave less price for rent a car and their cars are also old but they will deduct the money from your deposit.
I have given Aed 1000 deposit and they returned me back Aed 737 by saying pick up service is aed 200 and admin/transfer fees is aed 50 plus taxes for the above. Who will charge aed 50 for transfer fees of your money to any account.
Drop off and pick up service was told to me it is available. They did not charge me for drop off but suddenly charge me for pick up without saying anything. Now they are saying pick up is Aed 200. These are buggers and cannot be trusted.
They have so many things written in their contract. Be sure to check each and everything if you cannot avoid them.
Worst experience with this rental company. Rented a Kia Picanto and broke down when I was in Sharjah just few days later. To get them to send me a recovery was a painful effort. We reached eventually the office few hours later to get a different car and I got to see what a dirty and poorly organized place that was. Staff has no idea of customer service and quality of service. Poor communication and very rude.
Even second car was soo poorly maintained (they have a garage in the back of the office and they DIY the repairs so you never know when your car will break)
Finally, one month after retuning the car, out of the 1000 aed deposit i got back only 632 AED:
• 200 aed for not washing the car right before returning it. Car was washed the day before and stood outside for a night, still was cleaner than when I got it
• 100 for coming to pick up the car. I understand there may be a fee for this, however I was never told this is a paid service and the cost of it.
• 50 aed processing fee (for stealing money from my deposit)
• 18 AED VAT for the services mentioned above
Dubai should not allowed such companies to work under these conditions

I rented for 14 days but after 10 days car breaked down in the middle of road while travelling with family (they promised one car and delivered another car that is another service quality) after stopping the car i called their operation team no-body responded, then I call police, they arrange recovery service to remove the car from the road (since almost a heavy block is happened) after 5-6 hours they send a recovery vehicle and collected the but no replacement nothing. Atleast i received my security after many follow-up after a nominal deduction.
Do not rent s car from this rental. Very bad , very bad service. Cheaters. They will charge deposit and will return after 45 days. They will deduct too much. Do not rent.
They are cheaters. Why this company is exisying with all this horrible reviews from customers. Someone should shut down this company. They promised to replace the car. And today 2nd day no car, noone responding to my 100 calls. They are kidding people. I have paid for the air.

This is one of the worst company and I have reported it to the police. They have sent us a fine of 1560/- whereas there's no traffic fine on RTA app. They have also sent us the outstanding balance of 5900/- whereas, there's no outstading balance. There's no communication from the agent to the senior level managers. Please beware and stay away from such Fraudsters.
unfortunately i rented form them as well and they send a bill after 2 months of handing over the car saying, i owe them AED 5500, can you tell me what did you do and did you pay them what they asked for.

I have used RentaCarDubaiMonthly service and rented a car! This was the most terrible experience ever! I never met such an ignorant and rude people ever before!
They also asked for my credit card details and I gave them all the necessary information! How foolish I was!
They've started billing and charging me without my permission. I never allowed them to do that. When I contacted their office they were extremely rude and refused to refund my money! I had to call my bank and block these guys from further charges! They never explained why did they take extra money from my card, they just took it and that's it!
You might want to try these guys because of their super low prices, but remember my words - don't do that! You will lose more money with these guys rather than you choose more expensive company.
I booked a car on 07Aug23, I accepted because I needed a car that day, but they gave me the confidence that they would give me my deposit back. It has been more than 50 days and the company has not responded to my email or WhatsApp messages and has not returned the deposit as agreed!
Dubai Police need to stop this company!
