Assurance Wireless review: Left unable to call 911 with defective phone

After having the phone for 5 month could not use it to call 911 in an emergency if needed.The numbers on the keypad do not work all the time and on the rare occasion they do you get different numbers than you type. To hang up the phone you actually have to shut down the phone.and the speaker function does not work. I am a disabled senior citizen who received that Panco phone 5 months ago. I am on a government program that gave me my phone and 3000 min a month for free.The first month the phone worked okay but after that it went downhill. In the end I was lucky if I could get it to unlock. Call the company and was told that they do not covered damaged phones I explained it was not damaged but defective. They then told me that because had it for 5 months it was not covered and I could make monthly payments toward a new phone with there company. As I said previously I am low income and if I could afford a phone I would not need the program I am in.,
