Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebees Hialeah: Poor Service, Bad Food, and Watery Drinks

So, I went to Applebees in Hialeah today and let me tell you, it was not a good time. The waiter we had was not the best, and neither was the food or drinks. I ordered a sangria, but it tasted like straight-up syrup. We asked the waiter to switch it out for a pina colada, but both drinks were watery and barely had any alcohol in them. It took forever for our food to come out, and when it did, it was not good. The pasta I ordered was reheated and the chicken tenders were tiny. My boyfriend's steak was dry and not even the right cut that was advertised. The sides were also super small, like they were meant for a little kid. We told our waitress, Melanie, about our experience, but she had an attitude and said it wasn't her fault because she didn't cook the food. She said she would tell the manager to give us a discount, but it was only $12 and it was because they said my boyfriend ate two kid-sized salads (which he didn't). He didn't even finish his mashed potatoes because they didn't taste right. On top of that, I had to remind Melanie to take off the onion soup that I never even got, and she gave us attitude for that too. To make matters worse, while she was dealing with us, another customer called her and she told him to wait because she was dealing with a "complaining" customer (meaning me). I've been to other Applebees before and never had an experience like this.

Applebee's Disappointing Delivery Experience and Poor Customer Service at Applebee's in Independence, Ohio

So, my wife and I decided to try out Applebee's via Door Dash delivery. She ordered the Chicken Alfredo, but to our surprise, she received Shrimp Alfredo instead. We were disappointed, but we decided to call the restaurant and speak to the manager.

Unfortunately, the manager was not very helpful and was quite rude to us on the phone. She claimed that she packed the food herself and that it was Door Dash's fault for not inspecting the food before delivery. She offered us a $10 coupon for the problem on a $20.98 bill, which we found to be quite inadequate.

What's even more frustrating is that Shrimp Alfredo is not even an option on the menu. When we asked the manager about this, she gave us two options: accept the $10 coupon or pick up a new order. However, she refused to have it delivered, which defeated the purpose of ordering delivery in the first place.

We were extremely disappointed with the service we received from Applebee's in Independence, Ohio. We even called Applebee's Corporate and spoke to a supervisor named "Alfredo" (yes, you read that right). He also claimed that $10 was more than fair compensation, which we found to be unacceptable.

We couldn't help but wonder if someone had played with our food before we received it. We understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of customer service and the manager's attitude left a bad taste in our mouths.

On a side note, we would highly recommend that Applebee's use hair nets in the kitchen. We've had a 50/50 chance of finding hair in our food, which is not very appetizing.

Overall, we would caution anyone ordering from Applebee's to be aware of the potential for mistakes and poor customer service.

Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebee's: Long Wait, Ignored by Staff, Wrong Order, and Cold Food

I had a pretty rough experience at Applebee's. I called in my order and was put on hold for a whopping 28 minutes! When I finally arrived at the restaurant, there were only six customers in the whole place. I went to pick up my food, but the staff seemed more interested in ignoring me than helping me out. After being looked at by several employees, I finally got the attention of a guy behind the bar. He asked if I needed something, and I told him I had a to-go order. He said he would get someone to help me, but it took another five minutes for someone to finally come over.

When they did, I asked for utensils and salt and pepper. I was staying at a hotel behind the restaurant, so I figured I might as well eat in my room. The staff member acted like I was really bothering them, but eventually got me what I needed. I paid for my order and left a five dollar tip on a $20 to-go order, just to be nice.

When I got back to my room, I realized my order was wrong. I didn't have any utensils, and the food was cold. It was pretty disappointing, especially since I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 35 years. I've worked with hundreds of different staffs from IHOPs, Taco Bell's, Pizza Hut's, Hog Wild, Hardee's, Burger King, and more. I can honestly say that this is the worst place I've ever been to.

In fact, this is the first review I've ever written in my life. I just had to share my experience. I hope that the staff at Applebee's can improve their service and make their customers feel more welcome. Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day!

Applebee's Disappointing Visit to Applebee's: No Half-Priced Apps & Rude Host with Poor Hygiene

I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with my recent visit to Applebee's. First off, I was bummed to find out that my local spot no longer offers half-priced appetizers during happy hour and late night. That was always one of my favorite things about going there!

But that wasn't even the worst part. When I went with my mom, daughter, and a couple of friends, we had a pretty unpleasant experience with the host. One of my friends is a bit on the heavier side, and the host actually asked her if she was sure she would fit in the booth we requested. I mean, come on! That was so rude and unnecessary. My friend was really embarrassed and ended up taking her food to go.

To make matters worse, when I went to use the restroom, I saw the same host in there and heard her using the facilities. But then, to my horror, she didn't even wash her hands before returning to work! I couldn't believe it.

Now, I don't want to be all negative. I've worked in the service industry myself, so I know it's not an easy job. And when I do receive good service, I'm quick to compliment and leave a generous tip. But in this case, I just couldn't overlook the host's behavior. It really put a damper on our whole experience.

Overall, I have to say I was pretty disappointed with Applebee's this time around. I hope they can work on improving their customer service and cleanliness in the future.

Applebee's Great Staff, Terrible GM: A Review of Applebee's Mopac 290 Location

This Applebee's location is a true gem, thanks to the amazing and resilient bar, servers, and kitchen staff. Despite being short-staffed and working long hours, they always greet their customers with a smile and provide top-notch service. As a regular at this location since 1995, I can attest to the fact that this is our local hangout and a place where we have gathered for years.

However, in the last six months, new management has taken over, and while most of them are doing a great job, there is one GM who stands out for all the wrong reasons. This GM has a terrible attitude towards his staff and customers, and no one likes him. He hides in the back and refuses to help out when his staff needs him most. He is unhelpful and would rather talk behind people's backs than provide good service. He is the worst GM in the history of GMs, and he is running this place into the ground.

The inventory is chronically low, and they are always out of food and beverages, including milk and juice for children's meals. This is unacceptable for a restaurant, and it's all because of this terrible GM named Abe. He talks down to everyone and refuses to give out the corporate office's number when asked. He told me to find it myself on the website, which is not helpful at all.

Abe is a one-star GM, and I hope the Houston Corporate office takes notice of how poorly he is running this restaurant. He told me to take my 25 years of high dollar revenue elsewhere, but I will be here longer than he will. I know how to take care of people, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. The staff who still has to work there deserves a better manager, and I wish them well.

In conclusion, this location has been a great place to hang out with friends and family for years, but with Abe as the GM, it's not worth it anymore. Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebee's in Loveland, CO for Father's Day Dinner

I went to Applebee's in Loveland, CO for an early Father's Day dinner on June 18th. I was really excited to try their Chicken Alfredo, but when it arrived at the table, it looked like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for a while. The noodles were not cooked all the way, and the chicken was cold. I was really disappointed, so I sent it back to the kitchen.

After a few minutes, they brought the same plate back to me, but this time they added some Alfredo sauce to make it look fresh. Unfortunately, it was still not very good. The dish was only luke warm, and I didn't enjoy it at all. To make matters worse, I started feeling sick after eating it, and I spent Father's Day at home feeling unwell.

My partner ordered the shrimp, but it was also not up to par. The shrimp was soggy and almost inedible, and it looked like it had been sitting under a warmer for too long. Overall, the standards at this location were sub par at best, and I won't be returning anytime soon. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to a nice meal with my family, but unfortunately, the food just wasn't up to par.

Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebee's in Osage Beach, MO - Misleading Menu and Poor Quality Food

Me and my family went to Applebee's in Osage Beach, MO yesterday, February 9, 2023. I've been to a lot of Applebee's before, but this one was the worst. The waitress was not nice and lied to me about the "all you can eat riblet plate". I asked her if the riblets had bones in them and she said "just slivers"...but the bones were as big as a quarter! The meat was hard to chew, the french fries were cold, and the cole slaw was too dry. My husband ordered the shrimp and it was not good either. When the waitress brought us the check, I showed her the size of the "sliver" and she said "well it's not the size of a regular rib bone". We will never go back there again! I'm so happy that there are other Applebee's to choose from.

Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebee's: Long Wait, Lies, and Discrimination

I recently had an experience at Applebee's that left me feeling pretty upset. I decided to place an order online through their website, and according to the app, it was supposed to be ready in just 30 minutes. I was really looking forward to my meal, so I headed over to the restaurant after almost an hour had passed.

When I got there, I was disappointed to find out that my order wasn't ready yet. The staff told me it would just be another two minutes, so I decided to wait a little longer. But after another half hour had gone by, I started to get frustrated. Other customers who had come in after me were being attended to, but my order seemed to be going nowhere.

I kept asking the staff about my order, but all they could give me were lies and excuses. At one point, they told me they were bagging it up, but I waited another 15 minutes and still nothing came out. Finally, after an hour and a half of waiting, my order was canceled altogether.

I tried speaking to the managers about what had happened, but they were no help at all. In fact, they were downright rude to me. I couldn't understand why I was being treated so poorly, and it felt like a case of discrimination to me. I can't think of any other explanation for the inhumane treatment I received.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience at Applebee's. I had been looking forward to a nice meal, but instead I was left feeling frustrated and upset. I hope that in the future, the staff at this restaurant will treat all of their customers with the respect and kindness they deserve.

Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebees: Poor Service and Allergy Mishap

I ain't been to Applebees in a hot minute, but let me tell you, this last time was straight up the worst. The lady at the front was giving us all kinds of attitude, like she didn't even want us there. We had to sit there for a whole half hour before anyone even came to take our drink order. And then, get this, we waited a whole hour before they even asked us what we wanted to eat. Like, what kind of service is that?

But it gets worse, y'all. I told them I had allergies and not to put no sauce on my salad, but they went ahead and did it anyway. So I had to send it back and wait even longer. And when they finally brought me another one, it had chicken on it with even more sauce. Like, do they not listen to their customers at all? We had to complain again just to get another salad, and this time it had croutons on it. I mean, come on now.

And it wasn't just us having a bad time. We saw other people complaining about their food and the workers and how long everything was taking. It was a hot mess, y'all. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and just go to Wendy's or something. Applebees ain't worth it.

Applebee's Terrible Service and Dirty Conditions at Applebee's - A Disappointing Experience

Me and my hubby went to Applebee's for a good ol' supper. But let me tell you, the place was a mess! It was so dirty, we should have just left right then and there. But we decided to give it a chance and ordered an appetizer. We waited for 45 minutes and still no appetizer! Can you believe it? Then they brought our food and I asked a waitress (who wasn't even ours) about the appetizer. She said she would check into it, but we never heard back from her.

Our so-called WAITRESS lied to the manager and said we changed our minds about the appetizer! Can you believe the nerve of her? We did NOT change our minds! Then she gave us the wrong ticket and had to take it back and bring it to the right table. And get this, she swore up and down that she brought us the right ticket!

This was the first time I ever left a restaurant without leaving a tip. And let me tell you, I will NEVER go back there again! I wouldn't advise anyone to go there if you want proper service and a waitress that won't lie just to save her own skin.

This all happened on July 18, 2022 at 8:45pm. I am so mad right now. How can a restaurant be run like this? It's just not right.

Applebee's Disappointing Curb Side Service at Applebee's in Greensboro, NC

So, there's this Applebee's on Wendover Ave in Greensboro, NC. We decided to try their curb side service and boy, were we disappointed. Our order was completely wrong, not once but twice! We were so frustrated that we had to complain to the district manager. To make up for their mistakes, they gave us a gift card. We thought, "Okay, let's give them another chance." But guess what? They messed up our order again! This time, I had to wait for 30 minutes in the parking area and when I finally got my order, my dry rub ribs had no vegetable or sauce. I mean, come on! I ordered ribs because I thought it was impossible to mess that up.

We were so fed up that we had to go back to the restaurant. My wife went inside and the hostess rolled her eyes at her. Can you believe that? The cook needs to be fired, the store manager needs to be fired, and the hostess needs to be fired too. This is more than just unacceptable.

If they send us another gift card, we're just going to give it to a homeless person. We're not going to give them a fourth chance. It's just not worth it.

Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebee's in North Platte: Poor Service and Quality of Food

This Applebee's in North Platte was a real disappointment. We've been there a few times before and it's never been great, but this time was especially bad. The wait staff seemed to forget about us and we had to remind them about our drinks a few times. When they finally came, they were wrong. We also had to ask for silverware and napkins, which should have been on the table already. The food was not good either. We were celebrating our twins' 21st birthday, so we were in a good mood, but the poor quality of the food really brought us down. The prices have gone up, but the quality has gone way down. We got our plates at different times, and my son never even got his salmon until we had to ask for it. The final straw was when my daughter ordered a medium steak and it came out rare. We asked for a new one, but even that one was still too rare. The waitress was apologetic, but it was just too much. We don't recommend wasting your time or money here. We're all in the food service industry ourselves, so we know how hard it can be, but this was just unacceptable.

Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebees: Overpriced Oriental Chicken Salad with No Dressing

I recently visited the Applebees located on the 5th floor of the Costanera Center. I was craving a salad, so I decided to order the Oriental Chicken Salad. The picture of the dish on the menu looked so appetizing, I couldn't resist. However, when the salad arrived, I was disappointed to see that it was served on a flat plate instead of a bowl. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, small pieces of cabbage and carrot, and six to eight breaded chicken pieces that looked like they were cut from chicken fingers.

To my surprise, there was no dressing on the salad. Instead, I was brought olive oil and balsamic vinegar to pour on top. I couldn't believe it! Who puts olive oil and balsamic vinegar on an Oriental Salad? It should have come with a nice Asian-style dressing. The only thing that made the salad slightly oriental was the little bag of crispy noodle strips that I could sprinkle on top.

To make matters worse, the price I paid for the salad was way too high for what I received. I felt like I was ripped off. I was so disappointed with my experience that I don't think I'll ever go back to this restaurant again.

Overall, I was not impressed with my visit to Applebees. The salad I ordered was not what I expected, and the price was too high for what I received. I hope they improve their menu and service in the future.

Applebee's Unprofessional Bartender at Applebee's in Farmington, NM: A Customer's Review

Me and my family are regulars at Applebee's in Farmington, New Mexico. We used to go there all the time to relax and enjoy our evening with some beer and good food. However, lately we haven't been going there as much because of some issues we've been having with one of the bartenders.

This bartender has been gossiping about us to other customers while on company time. We don't appreciate this kind of behavior, especially from someone who is supposed to be a professional. The gossip has even spread to other places like Buffalo Wild Wings and Sunray casino.

We reported this issue to the management, but unfortunately, they didn't seem to take it seriously. The manager told us to quit harassing their employee, even though we never directly confronted the bartender. We thought we were going through the proper channels by reporting the issue to management.

As paying customers, we believe that we deserve an apology from the management. We don't think it's too much to ask for the bartender to be reprimanded for her unprofessional behavior. We love going to Applebee's and we miss it, but we don't want to deal with this kind of drama.

Overall, we hope that the management takes our concerns seriously and addresses the issue with the bartender. We just want to be able to enjoy our time at Applebee's without any drama or gossip. Thank you for listening.

Applebee's Disappointing Experience at Applebee's: Poor Service and Quality Cuts of Steak

Applebee's used to be a really good place to eat. They had good food and the service was top-notch. I remember the bourbon street steak being a really good meal. It was a decent size and it was a ribeye cut. But then, they increased the price. I still ordered it because it was good. But then they changed the cut to sirloin instead of ribeye. That was a big mistake. And then, they made it smaller and increased the price again? Really? I'm never ordering the bourbon street steak again because now it's just not good. I would pay $23 for the original ribeye bourbon street if they offered it again.

Now, let's talk about the service. Every single time I go, they mess up my order. The last time I went with my husband and son, they never even brought me my food. The waitress stood there and said "how is everything" while I had NOTHING in front of me! They are complete idiots.

I really think that Applebee's is going to be a dying chain. They need to get their act together if they want to stay in business. I would sell your stock now if you have any.

Applebee's Dress codes and cleanliness

6/17/2023. Olive St next to Drury Inn at 270

Sat at the bar to watch the Cardinals game. Waiter was awesome. A party of about 20 including Small children, one of the adults was wearing aVery Very disturbing t shirt (F You) in plain writing of which we had to look at and All the families at the Durry Inn also had to see. When I asked the Manger why this was allowed He said what you want me to do?

Won’t Be Back! Ever! How nasty to see this especially with families and children

Applebee's Car side to go and the food

On 06-09-2023 I placed an order online to Tewksbury Ma Applebee and went to pick it up on car side to go, I was told that the order would be ready at 5:24 pm, I got there at 5:25pm and waited for my food in space 1 and I waited and waited and waited, a car pulled in and 5 minutes later they got their food and the staff member saw me in the space but I waited and waited and at 5:50 pm I went in and stated I was told it was being ready by 5:24 and still haven't got it, staff was very uncaring and took at least 3 to 4 minutes to bring it out. On the receipt it shows it was ready at 5:26pm, so what was the issue of not bringing it out. Then, when I got home (5-minute drive) my wife opened her haddock and fries dinner and the haddock it was cold and very unappetizing it was hard as a rock and very small, the fries were cold and the coleslaw was watery, my blacken shrimp Alfredo, the broccoli was raw and the pasta was al dente and the sauce was very, very thick only good thing was the shrimp may sons dinner was Bourbon steak and he ordered it medium and it came medium well to well done and was very chewy and the garlic potatoes was edible to say the least, I was give this Applebee a rating of a 3 and would never recommend it for a good meal or a place to order out. Applebee's Quality of food. Amount paid for one person.

I was on a road trip yesterday and stopped in at the AppleBees in Rosenberg Oregon.

First thing I was not acknowledged with hostess walking by a few times did not even look my way. It took about five minutes to even get seated. Let me say it was not crowded. When I sat down it took another 5 mins to see if I wanted something to drink. I ordered the blacken chicken breast with shrimp and sautéed mushrooms. It was happy hour so I ordered a cocktail and one appetizer because they were half off.

My food plate was so small compared to the picture. They didn't even put on but 3 very small slices or mushrooms and only 5 shrimp on my chicken. The mash potatoes portion was very small. I was not happy with the quality of food I was given versus the picture. Nothing compared. My waitress was [censored], I ordered another drink, I watched it sit on the bar for ten minutes before it was brought to me. My meal with 18% tip cost me $41.56. For one person and during happy hour. Not happy with the service as well as the lack of food I was cheated out on. Two thumbs down for this location.

Desired outcome: Free meal and drinks with correct portions of food. Or a full refund.

Applebee's Manager and employee

Girl named jadyn Orlando ( server ) came up to my buddy and started threatening him and harassing him in front of everybody in the store so I called a manager to get under control( Steve Watson ) to resolve the situation and he let it happend the proceeded to kick out the by standard (me) for trying to get a unprofessional employee working a corporate job to apologize and to realize you cannot do that on the job . Also comes down to I’m never aloud at Applebees again because I asked the managers to get his employeee in check and told me no . I will be going back again and having the police involved if this can’t be fixed because it’s very ridicules and unprofessional to kick someone out after ur employeee just told a person to go to hell go f*** themselves, hope you die in a car crash. That stuff is not exaptable and I’ve already contacted corporate two times and it’s still not fixed cuz I was told to get out of store by Steve watson( manager ) or cops will be called. This just is un accapteble at any job. Honestly all I’m looking for is to not get kicked out applesbees for something I didn’t doo. And get a new manager or teach him to be better because he does not know how to manage a business. I already called to try and get it handled but nothing ever happens and me being an innocent customer is still not aloud in Applebees till this day(kicked out for life) for asking a manager to control his employee

Desired outcome: Let back into applesbeess Steve watson needs to learn how to Manage a business and not let employee curse off customers.

June 1/2023 at aprox 6.30 pm while having dinner we noticed several customers waiting to be seated for about 5 min.There was a loud meeting in the back room/kitchen.Several more customers came in and still waiting.Iwent to the kitchen and interupted the meeting and said you have customers waiting .I was told by the manager jenna to leave as i was interupting a meeting .I told her the meeting was loud and should be done in a more customer conscious manner.Jenna said she could give me a bill and ask me to leave.My wife and myself felt she was out of order and could have handeled this matter in a more professional way.I paid alex our bill and left him a tip and left as my wife was upset and did not finish her meal.We drove about 40 miles to your place looking forward to i quiet dinner wrong.Jenna came over to us and said she called hr to get ahead of this .
