1 yr into a 3 yr contract. Service so abysmal, willing to pay out contract just to get rid of them. Cannot talk to anyone. Messages not returned, no one answers phone, emails ignored. Does company even exist anymore? I live in rural northern Alberta, no idea where to issue complaint with BBB due to not sure where they are based. Fear they are purposely avoiding me just so interest will accrue and end up paying them more than just the contract. I've been continually lied to and there is not a scintilla of trust with any of them.
Desired outcome: Due to grotesquely poor service, would like if they would simply disappear. At least get in contact with me so I can be rid of them. This has been a nightmare.

I have been trying to get some service from A.P.I. for many weeks now.
Contacting A.P.I. is extremely difficult. So far I managed to contact them early in October to report a problem with one of my exterior cameras. In night mode much of the image is obscured by white blobs, although everything is perfectly clear in the daytime. The agent (in the Philippines) was friendly but all that was done was to reboot the system. That was obviously not going to correct the problem, but I know that you have to let them do that before they will consider anything else. She said to phone back the next day if the reboot did not correct the problem. It did not. So I then started trying to phone back. Multiple times I would get to a message that I should leave a message - only to next hear that the mailbox was full. Finally I got through to another agent (again in the Philippines). She told me that my camera was out of warranty and that she could not set up any service appointment due to training. Instead, she was going to phone me the following Monday. That is now 2 1/2 weeks ago. No call. I've again tried phoning multiple times but give up after 15 minutes.
On Oct.1.2025 A.P.I took over Bell's service. Before that, if there was any problem, I was able to contact their service line, talk to a local agent and a local Bell service person would soon be here - usually within a day. There was never any talk of "out of warranty" or anything. Their approach was that they were responsible for keeping the system working. I don't know if that level of service was particular to New Brunswick or if it applied nationally. A.P.I.'s approach is to make it impossible to get any service.
