I can not comment on anyone's post in the 'comment sections'. I can vote 'up or down' but comments are declined. Happened about 3 months ago and I am surprised there is no recourse or information.
I've been an AOL member for 20+ years.
If I have done something wrong, explain (examples) and tell me. I will, can, would correct it.
I really don't want to go to another server-BUT I will if this is how you treat a very long using customer.
Do you use an algorithm to determine or one individual who is having a bad day?
Just flip a 'button' and allow me back.

Hi guys, All of my comments are rejected no matter how innocent in script they are. I love to make comments and try my best to follow your rules.
Did I at one time say something bad? During this deadly pandemic people need to know that vaccines have saved our butt many times over the decades... many more will die if we don't convince others that it's important to get the shots because it WORKS!
Anyway... please let me comment or let me know what I need to do to fix the issue.

Right here on this page, aol claims that they find resolutions for folks' complaints! Ha! What a joke... But it's not unexpected. How did aol solve the problem with their targeted "cancelations" of our conservative bloggers' posts on aol's news feature? They simply stopped offering us the opportunity to express our opinions!
"take your ball and go home... Right, aol?"
Bottom line? I thank you creepy folks at aol for being so biased and left-leaning! There are now multiple new sources where we can share the truth and urge americans to reject aol's socialist/communist/marxist agenda.

The American people aren't stupid. The Presidential Election was stolen by Corporate America. All the Fake News and slanted stories turned people against Trump. Yea, Trump is obnoxious and crude, but he is a business man and worked for the American People. This piece of sh__ we have now is killing the American Dream. Are you happy Corporate America? AOL should report the news and not distort the (so called) news.

No reason for blockage given by aol. Which means somebody at aol is blocking all my posts

I am complaining about "ALL" of my comments being immediately removed upon posting. None of my comments are offensive or in violation of your rules or guidelines, and also never have been. " Why?" Possibly, you have me mistaken for someone else? An answer to this dilemma is very important to me. I and my family enjoy AOL and believe we have been significant and positive contributors.

I have been blocked from commenting on AOL news stories. I never threatened anyone and if the block is not removed and I am not allowed to comment I am going to contact the State Attorneys office and the BBB. this is a clear violation of my first amendment rights to free speech. Just because someone at AOL doesnt agree with me doesnt not give them the right to block me. You should resolve this now before it becomes front line news on many other media platforms.

Simple comments like, yes, Agrees, Maybe true...all been rejected.
Why?
I have been civil and fair in all my posts. Never name calling anyone or use derogatory words in my posts.
So, I am mystified why I am banned on ASLO from make the comments?

the AOL backgroundbrowser pops up an blocks work on AUTOCAD drawings whenever the cursor crosses a portion of the operating screen. The same problem occurs with other graphic apps and games.

I have been trying for over a year to reconnect, but II have been burglarized four times and any device I had to set up my account is on devices lost to theft. I have tried by phone and using the "Help" page, none of which has been any help. I am being prevented from accessing the likely thousands of emails because AOL does not offer solutions for unfortunate circumstances like my own.
My email, name, social security number, birth date or home address have not changed, but AOL does not recognize these values. they are more concerned with their power than the position they have helped to put me in. I intend to charge them for all the time I have wasted trying to explain my situation over the phone.
My unchanged email is [protected]@aol.com, but they refuse to understand that I cannot receive emails to help with my situation and will not allow me to set up another account because of the one existing.

I have been blocked for a long time now when I try to post a comment on an AOL story and I don't know why. Never got a warning about any of my posts, never threatened anyone or use fowl language and yet every time I try to post it doesn't let the post got through. I have seen on a regular basis numerous people using fowl language or trying to incite arguments of name calling on post even on today's news stories yet when I comment and keep on the subject mine does not get posted..yet I have 61K next to my name. i called AOL support a couple of weeks ago. They had me go to a site and write to the staff who handles the posting section and he told me they would look at it and let me know what was wrong or k]just watch in a couple of days and I will be able to post again after they fix the problem. None of that has happened, so could someone PLEASE let me know why I can't post and if I will ever be able to post again? Even Twitter warns you before they remove you from posting..AOL. NOT so.

My comments have been rejected and now I am blocked from commenting on news articles. I was even blocked from offering a prayer for a person in an article that had come down with Cancer. Or criticizing the Biden Administration while other praised it. I have read dreadful comments on the comment feed even wishing death on people not vaccinated for Covid -19 or wishing harm and death to our former President. My last response that was blocked was to voice my opinion about an article telling us how sick a child has become from Covid 19 because she did not have the vaccine. I voiced my opinion that AOL should offer articles about people who came down with auto immune diseases or died shortly after receiving the vaccine. I was told that I did not adhere to guidelines. I am a paying customer of AOL and do not feel that I was treated fairly.

AOL is sooooo biased! They banned me from commenting on their articles for life. In the beginning I used comments that a little bit insulting to certain political figures, but not anymore.

My post were within your guidelines but the moderator has cancelled my ability to post. A moderator has to put aside their political differences and follow your guidelines. Please take a look at the QAnon story.

You folks are so corrupt! its almost (and shoud be) criminal how you do not report real news and slant...no simply LIE about facts so far to the left your frkklin traitors. By the way in case you didn.t notice...Triump is no longer President...you have managed to corrupt the system to elect a demented old fool. what a farce!

Aol has stopped me and anyone else who uses my computer if they want to join in a discussion. Even if they write "that's great" they say it goes against their (aol) policy... I mean hellooooooo... What the heck is going on with people these days! Pissed off to say the least! It seems if you agree with the moderators you are safe from having your speech (writing) suppressed! I am really upset by this action...

Where is AOL? Can't get into my mail. Won't let me change my password even though I've entered the right password multiple times. Service on the phone is very poor. It is July 4th and customer service number says they are not open on Sundays. And if you decide to wait to speak to someone it will be a long time before anyone picks up since they are flooded with calls.
How does one get help? The help button on AOL's sign in doesn't work either.
Closing this account asap...and it's been 25 years.

I have been a top commentator on AOL for probably 25 years. All of a sudden all of my comments were rejected the second they are posted. I have never committed a TOS or guidelines violation--no hateful or abusive material here. Despite numerous "feedback" reports, calling AOL, and attempting to track down those who control this aspect, I have had zero success. I, and others noticed a change in AOL starting about a year ago. Much of their reporting became bias as opposed to objective and any questions were met with either silence or chastisement. What is going on? Is AOL being run by China? Does anyone know how I can get this corrected, after having tried all of the above? Thank you. Ben Novick

WOW! Who is running your operations? I have been on AOL for over 20 years and have stayed with AOL when friends stated it is outdated. However, I have been shocked by how BIAS your stories are ! Can you put someone on your staff who can give us BOTH SIDES to each story? It is SO EVIDENT that you have a MAJOR AGENDA, PLEASE help all of us get a well rounded view of what is happening in our nation!
