I am a former employee of Anytime Fitness the owners own Alliston, Wasaga Beach And Orillia.
While I worked there I was mistreated, pay cheques bounced and I was given a warning because I requested a day off to attend a mental health training course. I suffer from PTSD and I overcame a drug addiction. My owners constantly made me feel like I was not good enough to work, to the point I just left. For a gym facility that promotes healthy living I expected more. I also am still owed over 700.00 that they have refused to pay me and my ROE.
auto debit transaction
I've undergone an operation and advised by the doctor to not do extrenous activities. I've presented a legal document to the branch such as medical certificate, medical abstract and OR discharge. I was advised that the auto debit transaction will be put on freeze bec of the situation. However the request has not yet done. Its been three months that am paying for the membership and not using their facilities, am paying for nothing. I've contacted them thru their facebook messenger and as to no reply.
refusing members of other club to workout in their club (jangpura eros club)

They are not allowing members of other branch to visit their branch. Making there own policies, refusing to stick to anytime fitness policies. Worst staff, no rules and regulations and not giving any statements in email or any writing.
Is there anything we can do to this or we have just wasted our fees.
Is it really anytime fitness.
I’m memeber of lajpat nagar branch. Sometimes i visit to jangpura eros club. So they refuse me to visit their club again as I’m a member of another club but as i know the policies i can visit any anytime fitness club over the globe, i just have to visit home club in larger portion that is what I’m doing still they refuse to let me use jangpura club.
Anytime fitness may be amistake for me.

I am Anshul Saxena from Jaipur (Rajasthan, INDIA), a Professional Fitness Coach with multiple top qualifications of fitness industry and running my own Online Fitness Module Business exclusively dealing with my overseas clientele ONLY.
I had a word with some Ravi (apparently the Sales Manager, as told to me over the call). I visited the Anytime Fitness C-Scheme, Jaipur branch on August 18 '18, 19:40 IST as a fresh walk-in client to avail an Annual Membership under the Independence Day Offer (of INR17, 000 for 15-Months). I was addressed by Ravi & Hitesh Arya (purportedly the head of the club, also who owns Anytime Fitness, as personally told to me by him :D).
I was shown around the facility, when the payment was about to be done I was called into a room by Hitesh Arya for some "conversation". Hitesh and I had shared 3 years of Professional Companionship at NuYu Health Club, which ended 2 years back as I left the facility. Here in the room, in a very disorderly approach I was told by Hitesh that he won't be giving me the membership as I professionally belong to the fitness field and I had been a trainer earlier. To which, when I dismayed by asking him to show me such clause or to give this to me in written he denied and told me that I'm the in charge here and I am authorised to deny the membership without any written reason (it appears that, he is doing mainly because of some past personal rancour against me).
This was such a wretched and unprincipled conduct by your workforce that I will have to escalate this matter to whatsoever level probable to make it right.
I do not have any professional association with Anytime Fitness whatsoever, as an employee or as a client ever in the past or present. Please be noted, I also solely intend to avail the membership ONLY for my own workouts. Kindly look into this matter and get me the membership ASAP. If Anytime Fitness plan not to give me the membership then please get it to me in written on your letter head to circumvent further legal progression from my side about this pathetic, amateurish and intolerable chaos.
accessing the club
I am trying to access the club at Ofallon, MO 63368 location for last three days. The key fob is not working to access the bulding and the main door has been locked. In addition to that the service in the building went down recently such as AC not working, sanitation not picked up timely. Due to these reasons, I would like to like to cancel my membership which I paid for the year.

The Anytime Fitness in Wichita KS off of Seneca st. has the WORST manager ever. Clocks have all been dead for over a year now. There is NEVER any sanitation spray or wipes available. And what's worse, is every single day I come in, all I see him doing is working out with his girlfriend and not maintaining any of the equipment or supplies that I pay almost $50 a month for. It is completely ridiculous and downright lazy. The bathrooms are disgusting and if any machine were down it would not be fixed for at least 6 months if not more.

I already sent an email to the person who contacted me through phone(Jonas Guzman) that i wont be able to go to their gym location since I'm no longer from pasig. I was under the impression that the membership will be cancelled since they confirmed that I only singed up for a 6mons membership. I explained that because of my work I not staying on the same place for a long period of time. This Jonas from anytime fitness Ortigas extension did not reach out to me again.
equipment and management
Hello,
I am reaching out today in hopes that the equipement at the anytime fitness (Manotick location) ottawa Ontario be finally fixed.
I will start by stating that before signing up for my membership, the co-owner, Charles Fleury mentionnes that there is a new annual charge of (22.30$) - not sure if this amount is exact - to go towards fixing machines and equipement in a timely matter (in his words - within 2 days).
One of the two bikes at this location has been broken since December 2017. I have approached the co-owner, Charles Fleury at least three times regarding this issue. I have waited and waited and have seen him even after a month or two of bringing it up.
On my first visit in December, Charles acknowledged that the bike was broken and said he would have to call a "tech" guy to get it fixed. I checked after a week and no changes but didn't say anything because I figured an appointment was scheduled .
Approximately a month later I hopped on the bike and it is still broken (the gear skip which makes your leg turn really quickly at random times during your pedaling ). I went to approach him again telling him the bike was still not working properly and had said that he had tried to fix it but he guessed that it didn't work.
Few weeks later I bring it up again and he had said that he had tried to get in contact with his other co-owner because he was the only that could arrange for the bike to get fixed. He said the other co-owner hasn't been answering his text messages. The conversation didn't go any farther...
In ... I believe March 2018, I decided to call Anytime fitness headquarters in the hopes this would do something. I explained the situation and the lady on the phone said she would get in contact with management to have it fixed.
It is now May 2nd, just hopped on the bike and it is still not fixed.
I honestly have never seen such poor management regarding fixing equipement. I think it'a Not fair to be taking extra money from club members to "repair equipement" and to promise them a quick fix when no real steps are taken to fix the issue that has been going on for 5 months.
I have had knee surgery and have been asked by my orthopaedic surgeon to bike but the bike that is broken can cause some injuries to my knee when it skips.
I am not only setting this complaint for myself but for other club members, whom I've conversed with and are also confused as to why it's still not fixed. We're a small community and we also really like Charles as a person, we chat and all is great but in the end... we're costumers paying for a service that is not getting delivered.
I'd like to know the steps that will be taken to resolve the issue. I'd also like a time frame for when the bike will be fixed and would prefer if the management put a sign that says "out of order" on the bike to let us know it is not safe to use.

I would like to file an anonymous complaint regarding the Manager (Justin Johnson) at the Anytime Fitness (located in Bemidji, MN) making several sexual comments towards a certain female employee at the Anytime Fitness who works as a physical trainer. These sexual comments have been made on multiple occasions. This female employee appears to be uncomfortable and becomes very emotional when these comments are made by her Boss, Justin Johnson. I would like to see this verbal sexual abuse end immediately. Justin Johnson is in a a very professional position and needs to act that way. Justin's behavior makes the other employees as well as members also uncomfortable. Thank you.
illegal contract
I started my membership and after a week I had to bring my autistic disabled daughter who sat on the rug and did. Nothing. The next time I came in I was told I had to sign a contract on her as a member. After talking I was told that she didn't need a membership and they had agreed to not make her have one but 3 days ago a bill collector called me asking for my child that underage and legally disabled and told me she owed 495 $ for her contract even though she can't legally be contracted to sign anything and now they have a new bill for my other child they say owes. ABC financial states it was billed as a group bill and the club in deforest wi billed it that way they of course say no it wasn't them and laughed at me

What you stated is correct, you can legally dispute the debt. Research the fair debt collections act.
the staff
My wife is attending the UK Loughborough branch of anytime fitness and has a personal trainer. This trainer, Leon Fearon has since started following her on Instagram and liking any photo where she has made her self up. I believe this to be an abuse of his position and very unprofessional. I would like to know if this is normal practice at the Gyms as I believe a number of partners would be very uncomfortable with this.
I have also contacted Anytime Fitness twice with my complaint and I am still awaiting a response
employee situation
When joining this fitness gym, the owners had wonderful employees working where you always felt very welcomed and comfortable and said hello when you came in. What happened? In the last few months, the clientele now has to be concerned about a very immature fitness instructor and other newer employees joining in on mocking and laughing at them while they exercise. These are customers that are paying thier salaries. Where is the leadership at this gym? No one seems to be watching this gym and what is going on or they simply don't care. Too bad. It once was a great place to work out.

This gym has no respect at all. They allured you in to sign up the contract and when you want to cancel the membership they beat you [censor] up. The sales person James there is totally a mess. He is super rude and full of shXt. He frauds customers' money and refuses to cancel anybody's membership no matter what said on the contract. Don't ever step into this gym and get trapped.
changing facilities
I have been a memeber of the st pauls anytime fitness for over 2 years. In that time i have lost count that i have had to ask them to improve the ventilation in the shower rooms. This has never been done to my knowledge so its like taking a shower in a sauna and so you come out the gym more sweaty than you went in. The anytime fitness is also the first gym i've come across that have individual showers. On face value this might seem a good idea but when u have only 7 showers ( dry rooms don't count) either before work or lunch or after work if you have 20 people turn up you have to waste time waiting to get changed and that has a knock on affect. I am bringing this to you attention so that maybe some changes will be made otherwise me and the rest of the baker mckenzie staff will look at other gyms.

Girlfriend and I had separate memberships but I was paying for both. She called to cancel last month her membership. Apparently thats not enough and I was charged for her membership again this month. Subsequently I went to manager at Anytime and cancelled my membership also. No Im sorry nothing. He would rather see me walk also and lose another customer than to refund for the extra month billed. In a small town word travels and after reading the posts on here from other customers it has happened to I guess this is how buisness is run

I got a mail of 7day trial pass on 30/12my Email Id: "[protected]@gmail.com".. This mail contains a pass of 7day trial and notifying that go the branch show this mail...The branch will accept this pass and allow you... But the Management says that It is in the hands of the branch management to allow you into gym for a 7day trial...
I just want a answer that the pass which I got in mail by Anytime fitness has no value...

This gym promises everything and you get nothing! This Anytime Fitness moved location 2 building up in the same parking lot. Then hours went to anytime to "I can't use the gym because the hours are so restricted" Are you Anytime Fitness like the name says or maybe it should be "Sometimes Fitness" I joined and paid for Anytime. Where's corporate? Does this gym not have a contract and rules they must follow with being a franchise? Poor management and poor staff. No Fob on the front door so access is limited to there hours they choose. Lazy and cheep owners!

Today as usual i have been to ANYTIME FITNESS GYM at 4:30 am which is 24 hrs gym, unfortunately the lifts were not working and there has been no entry except the lift in the premises.
But it has been a very serious situation, that for entry and exit its only the lift were there has been no staff in midnight and no other fire exit.
in case of any mishaps the person would be in a very circuital situation if there is no staff and no exit expect the lift.
I really did not mind there is no entry for me today as the lifts were not working but i was wondering if i have been inside the premises / Gym and the lifts were not working then i would have been in a very critical situation, as there has been no staff and no entry / exit from the premises, as per even fire dept. there should be a exit point in case of any mishaps,
kindly get in to notice that specially Khar west Anytime fitness should be having a staff, as the gym is 24 hrs even in midnight if any mishaps happens one should be able to save one own life.
it has been life threatening situation.
