poor customer service /poor refund policy
I ordered an item from USA to be shipped to South Australia. received item.. didnt work and by looking at dented front panel it was a factory second. Arranged to ship back and paid $108 return postage. Was told by Amazon rep that the cost would be refunded to my bank account. Now after 1.5 hrs on chat, being disconnected 3 times by their rep.. phoning for 30 mins only to be transferred 3 times and left waiting on hold, was told they would only do a gift card.Nope not happening.. Will contact office of fair trading instead.
Recommendation: not worth the hassle

Someone hacked my account and used a stolen credit card. I phoned Amazon and told them that I had not authorised the transactions. Terrible customer service would give a 0 if had option
My order was never delivered to me and I was confirmed 4 times of a refund. Then I got an email from their “specialist” team advising that they would not refund and threatened to stop my account (I am a paying prime customer). They then declined the refund, would not give me a complaint department and when I attempted to resolve via chat they cancelled the chat over and over. I’m out of pocket and they don’t care. The WORST customer service I have EVER seen. To date still no refund and they are ignoring my emails and disconnect chats
