On April 26 2011 I called Aluma Wallet to place an order of 6 wallets. Instead they sent me 16 wallets and charged me $207.68. Breakdown $167.76 for the wallets + $39.92 for Shipping. Their website says each wallet is $10.99 + $6.99 for shipping. Get a second bonus and just add $4.99. The invoice shows cost for each of the first wallet to be $15.98 not $10.99. Strangely enough, during the call constantly there was interference for other promotional offer products. Expectation is at the end of the call total amount due to be mentioned. Nothing of that sort happened. A confirmation summary was needed to be sent. I gave my name and address, when the delivery arrived it had my son's name but the address was correct. BUYERS BE AWARE! ALUMA WALLET ORDERING PROCESS IS A RIP OFF. THE PRODUCT IS NOT ALSO OF A SUPERIOR QUALITY. I called the customer service number and mentioned that I will keep the number of wallets that was ordered by me and return the rest. The represent by the name of Christine stated that I will need to pay postage for the return items. This absolutely bizarre.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
