I took a prescription I got from my dentist for antibiotics I need to take before dental procedures due to having a shoulder replacement last year. The prescription was for 20 tablets. After waiting for over an hour, I finally got my prescription, bagged and stapled closed. Got home and only had 4 tablets. Called back up there. The technician told me the pharmacist only wanted me to have 4, because that is all I would take at one time. I said the prescription was for 20! She said again, she only wanted you to have 4. I told her the dentist wanted me to have more, so I would have them on hand for future dental visits. The pharmacist apparently felt she had the say over the dentist and would not let me have more. And only had authorized 1 refill. They could at very least have told me before I left and got home, so I could talk to her in person. These were antibiotics, not opiods or any kind of drugs that would be abused! I won't be going back there! Talked to my dentist about it. He had never heard of such a thing! Albertsons in Texarkana on W 7th St. will not be getting my business again. Pharmacist ANM-DA
