Al Piemonte Nissan

So, I went to Al Piemonte Nissan to swap my car for a new one but they said I didn't qualify. So, I bounced and went somewhere else and they approved me for a new ride right away. But then, I found out that Al Piemonte Nissan went ahead and applied for a Nissan Credit card for me without asking me or getting my permission. And, they got me approved! That's not cool, man! I never asked for that card and nobody even talked to me about it. It's like they did it on the sly. That's fraud, right? They can't just go around applying for credit cards for people without their consent. That's not legal!

I purchased my Nissan Altima from Al Piemonte Nissan in mid-2018. For over three years, I've relied on them for oil changes, brake repairs, and tire services. On a Monday morning, June 20th, 2022, I had a 9am appointment. Throughout the day, I was in contact with a service representative. Later, he informed me that my rear drums required replacement due to rust. I questioned this, as my vehicle's drums have been well-maintained. Upon collection, the representative's responses to my queries were puzzling. He mentioned the drums were already scrapped, which seemed premature. I suspect a proper recycling protocol was not followed. My trust as a long-standing customer was shaken after being overcharged for work I believe was unnecessary. The initial quote of $369.00 unexpectedly rose to $715.97. I am requesting a refund for the work I deem unwarranted, as the back brake drums appeared to be in good condition.

I'm so mad at this dealership. I talked to *** and told him not to run my credit with lots of lenders. He said he would tell his boss. I drove to Melrose Park for over an hour and they said they could get me a car. I told *** how much I could put down, my credit score, what kind of car I wanted, and how much I could pay each month. He said it was no problem. But then I waited for like 1 or 2 hours and he tried to get me to buy something I didn't want and pay more money. He finally said they couldn't make a deal like I wanted. When I checked my credit report later, they had checked it 6 times! I texted *** and asked why he did this after he said he wouldn't. He said he told his boss not to, but maybe he didn't listen. I'm so mad and they need to fix this and take those checks off my credit report.

Been a customer of Al Piemonte Nissan, Inc. since 1988 when it was Al Piemonte Ford. Bought a Sentra there in 2008 and used to love the place. However, things have changed since Jim D took over as GM. They used to be kind and humane, but now they've taken a dark turn. If you've had any trouble with them, you'll be banned from all Nissan dealerships in the area. Jim has created a toxic environment for Nissan owners in Illinois. If you've had a bad experience with Al Piemonte Nissan, you're no longer welcome to be a Nissan owner. If there's a safety recall on your Nissan and you can't get it fixed due to Jim's pact, and it causes death or injuries, too bad for you because you made Jim mad.
