I had bought the Airtel postpaid card for the mobile number stated above before two weeks. After furnishing all the relevant documents required, I am still waiting for my number to get activated.

This was under Corporate Scheme (Compnay Name: Lehman Brothers, Powai, Mumbai ). My request is been processed by a person called Amit ([protected]) whom I had given all required documents. I had gone through Office Address verification and my relatives got contacted twice for the verification (someone has visited the place twice and met to my aunt). Its appalling that every time I called, I was assured that the number would get activated in so and so time but it never happened. And today when I contacted Customer Care service I am told that the verification is not been done as your relatives were not present. Actually the verification is done by twice by my relatives for Alternate Address even i had details about the questions been asked for the verification.

The whole process had been a real headache for me and my relatives as well. I really wonder even though having all details of dealers, if a person from Customer Care says that we can not do anything and you need to pursue the dealer and need to get the things cleared. The person whom I have submitted the documents is not picking up the phone and even I am not getting help from Customer Services.

In this Customer Service Oriented world, if someone from the great company like Airtel, which claims to be one of the best says we can not give any help (I believe someone can certainly inquire about conflicting verification details as I hared that area-wise specific people go for verification) is like a joke and I really wonder about "Customer Care Services" which cannot care for customers

This is ridicules that the company like Airtel can't cater to a new customer to the best of its abilities. I was to use Airtel for the first time. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be using Airtel even if the number gets activated. The reason is the promptness or rather the lack of it from your/the shop/your agent's side. You have lost a customer most probably and you might lose many more if this is the level of service that you'll provide.

And best of that I made complaint to [protected]@airtelindia.com and nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in. But still i have not got replies from any.

No offense meant and none taken. Just a wake up call for you. I hope that I get at least a reply for this.

there is no respect for conusmers in airtel.

they said you want to discontinue you can at anytime.

there is so rude behaviour of customer executives.

I had airtel connection landlines with Broadbad internet. My Number was [protected]. I had paid all bills and I had disconnected line in august 2008. But still billing department calling me to pay more bill then I have deposited 1300 Rs for closing my account. One customer care executive named Shakshi rapidly called to me for deposit the amount then I had deposited. she promised me now u will never received call from us and after some times the call start to coming and asking for due amount. Today I got call from named Priya she talked about new bill and said same thing when I talk to her about story and then said, now I should not receive any call from airtel regarding bill. Then her didn’t response and kept phone.

I approach you with a request to re connect/ activate my Postpaid connection again since i pay the due bill amount.
i already info your customer care executive twice no responce till date . my sim card registration is become failed. against requested to a positive reply or give a consideration of a regular customer of airtel.

In the mid September, i got a call from Airtel Customer Care asking me to pay my Postpaid connection bill. I told them that i didnt recieve any bill, their answer to me was "We dont know you have to pay, otherwise your servies will be barred". Now what kind of Customer Care is that, if you call it CARE.

last month i had changed my prepaid connection to postpaid, my bill amt is 763, actually before getting connection there said that 200 sms free, but they charged for sms also. for sms alone i got 650 rs. so i did not my bill, after two weeks i paid my bill but now my no. has been deativated, without informing customer how they can de activate? i called customer care but they is no proper response. what can i do?

Not only airtel...i also faced such kind of problem with vodafone postpaid connection..

I have airtel Postpaid Conncection my no. is [protected].
in my no. it show no serivce i asked to customer service about that they are said that in your connction no problem from here .
But in my ph. it show no service . I don't know what to do at that point i am not opning my contact no also.
& i don;t know how get my contact no.
When i am contact with airtel galary they said that we cant help you. I don't know what i will do for get my contact no.
If you whant to help me Please give me my two month bill detail.(june & july)

I had applied for a post paid connection 3 mths back i haven't received the card but from last three months i have been receiving the bill. What do i assume with this kind of service.

And in front of that i have been receiving call to pay the bill when i have not used your service how do i pay the bill, can i get the explanation for this, really disappoint with the service and this is not the first time it has been happening there are many occasion for this had happened. Before also i had lost my Rs. 3500.00 talktime for this kind of silly mistake and i have not been repaid for this.
