dear sir some females from [protected] are calling us and using very dirty words just find out what for they are calling us and why they are abusing. our entire family are the customers of airtel from more than 10 yrs this was the first time we were feeling why we have gone for airtel. call us on [protected] or [protected] immediately and plz solve our problem.

renewal of post paid mobile connection

My mobile no. Is [protected], post paid airtel connection. The plan is advance rental executive - rs.999/-. The expiry date of the plan was 13/07/2009. Towards renewal of the plan for a further period of one year fron 14/07/2009 to 13/07/2010, rs.999 / - was paid at airtel relationship centre - reach communications, chrompet, chennai on 30/06/2009. The plan amount of rs.999 / - was paid along with the bill of june, 2009 of rs.306/-. Confirmation of receipt of rs.306 / - was received, but no confirmation was received in respect of renewal of plan charges paid.

The airtel relationship centre at chrompet, chennai was visited on 07/07/2009 personally and they were informed that the money collected from me was not transmitted to airtel. After my reminder only the amount of rs.999 / - was transmitted to airtel.

Arbitrarily and without my consent, airtel renewed the plan from 07/07/2009 and informed me that the expiry date is 06/07/2010. The plan should have been renewed from 14/07/2009 which should carry expiry date of 13/07/2010. Airtel do not seem to understand the simple mathematics of yearly renewal, i. E. , when a plan expires on 13/07/2009 and renewed for one year, the next due date will also be 13/07/2010 only.

Complaints were made and representations to nodal officer and appellate authority also were made, but all in vain. All of them inform that the next date of renewal will only be 06/07/2010 and not 13/07/2010. Seven days of the plan is straightaway taken out by airtel.

Please look into the matter and render justice.

about sim card it can't save contacts

I am the customer of your company since last 1.5-2 years. recentlyI lost my mobile, so I got new mobile & oldest number.My mobile number is [protected].Now the problem is that I can't save contacts in SIM card.
When I complained to the customer care executive they said that this is not our respoinsibilities.You purchase new card.

I had taken an irtel prepaid sim in April'09. The rqiired documents were submited on same time. But afer 2 months the outgoing and in coming calls were stopped and while enquiring it was told that Verification was not done. Any how Airtel issued another sim and subsequently the docs. were again submitted but after almost 1 month again it was asked to submit the docs. as previous docs. were rejected due to their own(Airtel officials) mistake. Again third time the docs were submiited but still the outgoing call has been stopped. Now I can not understand what type of service they are providing the customer. Only they are harassing us. Necessary steps may be taken at the suitable level.

Airtel (India) has been me charging Rs 60 per month on account od some Antivirus they provide "On-Request" to their broadband subscribers, even when I had never requested for it, and do not have it on my PC. When questioned, they try to placate by saying they will reverse the charges for the current month, and you wont be charged anymore for this. But they again and again keep charging in every months bill and have the same story to repeat every month, month after month, with no real resolution. I came to know of this fraud since I enquired, but I am sure there must be millions who do not realize and keep paying for these unauthorised charges.

This is just another scam like airtel pushing caller tunes to your cell without authorization and then charging for it.

HOWEVER, SINCE THE BILLS WERE NOT PROPERLY SCRUTINISED, THIS MISTAKE CAME TO BE DETECTED NOW WHEN A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT BY WAY OF RENEWAL FOR THE COMING YEAR WAS ADDED WHICH JACKED UP THE BILL TO NEARLY RS.1, 500 FOR THE CURRENT MONTH. DESPITE OUR FRANTIC EFFORTS THROUGH REGISTRATION OF OUR REPEATED COMPLAINTS, SO FAR, AS OF DATE, NOTHING HAS FRUCTIFIED. I HAVE ALREADY VOICED MY GRIEVANCE OF POOR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE TO THE AUTHORITIES CONCERNED BUT TO NO AVAIL. A PRIVATE AND AN ORGANISATION OF REPUTE IN INDIA IS PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK GAME WITH THE HARD EARNED MONEY OF THEIR ESTEEMED SUBSCRIBERS. MY BONE OF CONTENTION IS THAT THE EXCESS AMOUNT FOR THE SERVICE NOT OPTED FOR SHOULD INVARIABLY BE ADJUSTED AGAINST THE CURRENT MONTH'S CHARGES TO WHICH THE ORGANISATION HAS NOT YET RECONCILED. ULTIMATELY, FINDING NO DENOUEMENT, I HAD CALLED UP THE NODAL DESK AT BANGALORE WHO HAVE TAKEN NOTE OF THE SAME AND PROMISED TO LOOK INTO THE ISSUE FOR REDRESSAL. STILL, THERE ARE LINGERING DOUBTS IN MY MIND AS NO POSITIVE RESPONSE IS FORTHCOMING FROM THE AUTHORITIES CONCERNED. THE INEXPLICABLE DELAY AND THE CUMBERSOME ROUTE BEING ADOPTED DO NOT REALLY SPEAK GOOD FOR AN ORGANISATION OF THIS I.T. SPECTRUM. EVERYTIME, WHENEVER I CONTACT THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE, DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE ACTION TAKEN ARE FURNISHED WITH THE RESULT THAT I AM TOTALLY GROPING IN THE DARK. MAY I REQUEST YOU TO TAKE UP OUR CAUSE WITH THE ORGANISATION FOR REDRESSAL AS SWIFTLY AS POSSIBLE.

    even we faced the same problem for months now. They are charging Rs 85 for some Airtel PC secure monthly which they say is an additional service which we never asked for. This chargeable additional service without our consent is just a way to fool the customers and minting money.

    Dear customers of Airtel broadband: Kindly note that the description of the charges given on the 2nd and 3rd pages is entirely different from what they charge on the 1st page. The amounts mentioned are different. They charge more on the 1st page

    Even we are facing the same problem from the past few months. The charge us Rs 85 for Airtel PC secure which they say is an additional service and shud be free of cost. This is just a way to fool the customers and mint money.

    Alert: Plz check ur bills thoroughly as the amount on the front page differs from the detailed description of the charges on the 2nd and 3rd page.

    Well I faced similar problem from AIrtel. They suddenly started charging dsl charges in my monthly bill. I called customer care service of Airtel to inquire regarding this. However the service centre guy tried to make me fool and didn't answered me properly. SO ultimately I shooted an email to the airtel and warned them to reverese the charges or else I will discontinue the service. Within 2 days I got call from the customer care that they will reverse the charges in next bill. These companies have to be dealt with such tactics otherwise they will continue to loot us and think we wont raise voice against thair malpractices

I'm Binil Raj and my number is [protected]. I was using this number as prepaid for the past two months. I have decided to migrate my plan from prepaid to post paid. I have applied for the same by 15th July and I got my post paid connection on 22nd July.

Initially I have paid Rs. 350 for New Connection and Rs. 200 for Bachelor Accommodation. So totally Rs. 550/-

For the past one month I am using this connection without any hassles and I was happy. On 18th August 2009 Airtel disconnected my number without any prior notice. When I contacted the Customer Care they have informed me that they can't provide the service to me since I am residing in a bachelor's room. At this point I would like to bring to your kind notice, that before migrate my plan from prepaid to postpaid I have paid sum of Rs. 200/- for Bachelor Accommodation fee at the point where I have placed the request. I have the proof of records for the above payment. After all these process a person from your organization (AIRTEL) came to my place for address verification and everything was fine.

Few days back my number was blocked due to the accommodation issue. Then after communicating AIRTEL and explain the issue, I have got my connection back. Now again my connection got disconnected for the same reason.

Now, I couldn't understand why AIRTEL disconnected the line even after receiving additional charge from me, that too without any prior notice.

I feel utterly dissatisfied with your service because of these issues. Because of these issues I was not able to concentrate on my business. I have given the number to all my business clients and no one is able to communicate with me. Hence I request you to solve this issue immediately. If I don't get proper response from your end then I will be forced to shoot a legal notice against your organization.

I request you to make some arrangements to get my connection back.

irresponsible customer service

I want to bring Bharti Airtel notice towards their customer service department specially Nodal officers and Appleate officers in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

I am very old customer of Bharti airtel mobile and using one number [protected] since 4-5 years. I need to relocate to Maharastra for business purpose and kept the number in safe custody in the year of 2008 Feb. I tried contacting airtel officers to let me know the process to further extend the safe custody of my mobile. No one replied to that. When i returned in the month of May 2009 and asked for the number, they very nicely replied that sir your number is activated. I was very happy for such a quick and good response. Later to my suprise, these great folks have given this number to some one else too and some on my behalf blocked my SIM and later i un-blocked the SIM any how i was using this number for more than a month and also received mobile bill too in my address. Later airtel acknowledge me that this number is no more active as its has gone for recycling.
I followed up with them by making numerous call and spend my most of the time and money to get the numeber back. Airtel appleate officer Bangalore told me that he will get the number back for me and assured me that i will get it, but may be in pre-paid format and later i can change it to post paid. He made number of false stories and assurance and made me to wait for more than a month. Airtel officer was such a liar that they cooked stories on Swine-flue etc. etc. He went to the extent by saying me that he will take the prepaid number in his name and will help me in getting the number back to my name. At last after so many false stories from Airtel today they said me that sorry sir this number is blocked by some one else. This is really disgusting and irritating. I want to strongly protest aginst such practices and will urge airtel not to waste other person time and money like this. Airtel should return me back my number with the interest for all the time and money they have wasted of mine.

    me airtel ka regular customer hoo, lekin mujhe dukh hai kee airtel ne esse unmannered persons appoint keye hue hai jo cutomer ke sath misbehave kerte hai aur cutomer ko wrong talk me bat kerte hai aur yadi unhe complaint kerne ka kaha jai to kahte hai kardo kardo, kyoki we young girls aur boyes hai aur cutomer ko apna gulam samajhte hai, essi hai abhi 10109 ko mera landline phone shift hona tha, wireman apna wiring kerke 11/10/09 ko chala gaya lekin karib two days bad bhi jab connection nahi hua to mene airtel se 13/10/09 ko customer care center per contect kiya baha per miss ranjeeta duty per thee unhone mujhe satisfactory reply nahi diya tab mene unhe apne boss se batkerwane kee request kee badi muskil se unhone apne boss amit jee ko connect kiya mr amit ne bhi koi satisfactory reply nahi diya aur dono hee executive wrong way me mere sath pash ayee, mere attasamane ko thees pahuchee hai, dono employee se explaination call kerke mujhe inform kare nahi to mujhe is sikayat ko ministry label me bhi high light kerna padeaga, I really am disappointed by the service airtel is providing. please give me reply early, an early action is requested plz

extreme delay in installation (>1month)

Airtel has one of the worst broadband services in India; being a private service provider, they are supposed to be better than BSNL which is a government one. But in this case, it seems all they've been concentrating on is the publicity and not the actual quality of service.

I stay in Bangalore and I'd paid Rs. 1000 as installation charges a month back. They had then said they would do it in 3 days. Now whenever I call them up, they give some nonsensical reasons. They even refuse to return the amount.

My advice to Bangaloreans: Do not get deceived by their glamorous ads. Their services suck.

    Its more than 15 days since i got a new connection at my house, but till date broadband has not been instaled. Have been calling customer every day and you get an customer care person assuring you that it will be done in next 48 hrs which never hapens.....

    i got airtel thinking they are effeciant than MTNL, but i think i made a big mistake. Now i have desided to get a MTNL connection and get rid of aitel connection.

    I request every one who is reading this to tell each and every one you know for not taking any airtel services...

i recently called airtel executive for new airtel broadband connection, they says within 1 day we will install to home, but they take much time to connect, we are still waiting for the connection, whenever we tried to contact the customer care or executive, but the result always nill, we could take any action but coz we deposite 1000 for airtel executive, some times he switch off his mobile or not responding,

My mobile service provider is airtel . Every month since may09 whenever i recharge my airtel mobile polytone charge deducted though I never made a request for this to the best of my knowlede. However i never made a repeated complaint but my effort is null & void, When i contacted airtel people, they are not paying attention on this issue simply saying that it is your mistake: "you do what u can do". Rs 50/-, Rs 25/- again Rs 25/- are deducted from my account balance .

Now see...
I was a Airtel customer from Last 3 years & 5 Months before I have switched from prepaid to Postpaid service (my biggest mistake).

That time also I had submitted the document again for HLR3 CARD - (New DAP300 ) & given them a cheque of 500/- Rs. on 28/07/2009 to Mr. Sachin Pakhidde (Sales Executive)... Then this service starts from 02/08/2009 to 06/08/2009 without disturbance...

Now immediately they have stopped the service without any warning/Communication. And Mr. Sachin Pakhidde (Executive), NAGPUR did not response me on my phone call... I think he did not fill up my address on the Form Properly

and still it's giving the message "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" Mobile No. [protected]...
Pls, Kindly check this issue & tell me... What was happen?

    i am new user of Airtel (Maharashtr) i take one prepaid connection (09987448762) and then i decided to go for postpaid connection and retain same number. i call the customer care for that . they send Airtel Executive he meat me and give me new postpaid sim card he say me that my sim will be activate in one are two days.
    But the situation is that My both Sim prepaid and postpaid are not working My mobile display inactive sim
    Please take necessry Action ASAP

stopped the service without any communication

This is the worst service I have ever seen.

Airtel has stopped my mobile service on Friday 7Aug 09. When asked to Customer Care, reason was "Document not submitted".

Now see...
I was a Aitrtel customer from Last 4 years. 9 Months before I have switched from prepaid to Postpaid service (my biggest mistake). That time also I had submitted the document again.

Now immediately they have stopped the service without any warning/Communication. I have again submitted the document on Friday 7Aug 09 in Airtel Kahamla gallery in Nagpur. They processed (scaned and submitted) my documents on same day. Customer care guyes saying they have not received documents.

and still it's giving the message "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED"

Uptil now I have submitted documents thrice.

poor connectivity

Hi,

This is with reference to poor connectivity of Airtel in Indirapuram region.

The signal strength in Ashiana Upvan and Indirapuram area is very bad for Airtel mobile user.
Even at ground floor the call drop rate is very high with bad voice quality as the signal is very weak

We had filed in a complain with Airtel, but no action has been taken to improve the same.
This is causing huge inconviniece to Airtel clients.

    Airtel signal are really very poor in Indrapuram region.My family had already cancelled one connection and one more I am going to cancel.
    NO USE OF COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS TO AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE.I ALREADY TRIED 100 TIMES.
    Vodafone is better than Airtel in terms of signal strength but it too have some problems many times.
    Can any one please suggest which Operator provides good signal here at Indrapuram area.

    SUB: Requisition for reactivate the Airtel connection – 9789733599.
    The Airtel Mobile Number 9789733599 was taken by me before three years as prepaid. Because the business purpose I have changed that connection to postpaid last month. Now the number has been deactivated. I enquired the customer care about the reason and I had the result as “door lock during the verification process”. During the verification I didn’t get any information from Airtel. Then I had second time verification from Airtel and I signed in the verification form. But I didn’t get my connection back. The verified person name S.KATHIRVEL from GOPAL AYYER AND SUBRAMANIAM CHARTERED, ERODE. His Mobile Number is 9788644168. I am using this number for my own business. I am facing so much of loss in my business due to the unavailability of the number.
    I am happy with the Airtel service and I want that back. I request you to reactivate my number either in postpaid format or in prepaid format for my business development.

validity recharge not successul

Dear concern,
Me & my relative have two airtel sim with Youth pack scheme, Six months back we were usualy receiving a sms from airtel to recharge our sim worth Rs. 101 & get six months validity but few months back suddenly airtel stopped sending this sms, on enquiring from customer care, they told us to recharge with 152 Rs for only one month validity but the extreme is that we completed our validity somewhere on 24-07-09 or 25-07-09 & on recharging our sim with Rs.152 this time it converted into talktime recharge, & on enquiring on customer care many times, we are still not able to recharge our sim, It seems as even customer care is not having adequate knowledge of any thing about airtel sim cards & schemes.
Now You are requested to Pl. guide me for getting validity or refund my money 152 Rs. each that I invested to recharge my numbers i.e.
[protected], [protected]
Also guide me if I could convert this sim no. into Lifetime validity plan.
The considerable thing is that my grace period is ending on
09-08-09, so You people are supposed to react on today only.
