I did an application with African bank on 14 June.
On 17 June I submitted my documents for review.
Shortly after submitting my documents, I received 4 offers.
After accepting the offer, receiving a pre-agreement and accepting the debit order mandate, I was happy with African banks swift response time.
I contact customer service on 18 June and 19 June to check the status of my application and was told that it was in the final stage of being reviewed and approved.
On 20 June I received a call from a sales agent advising that my bank statement was outstanding. None of the agents I spoke to the day before picked up that info was missing.
I immediately submitted my bank statement.
It has been more than a week since my initial application and still no one can give me definitive feedback on my application.
This is really disappointing as I am an existing African bank customer.
African Bank wont be getting any further business from me!
