I purchased a Thermostat housing part for my 2009 Dodge Caliber from Advanced Auto Parts for my mechanic to install. He was unable to free himself so after 4 days later, I installed it and turned on the engine and refilled the radiator. I noticed water still leaking and deemed I'd better let my mechanic do the install. When he finally was able to come, he had brought with him a used thermostat housing he took off another Dodge caliber and told me to return the other I purchased back for a refund. After returning the Thermostat housing to Advanced Auto Parts I was told," Since I had installed the part, they could not refund me." Mind you, I did not drive the car, just installed it and I'm out of $165.00 no way is that even remotely fair. Anyway, I attempted to contact someone in the organization who could over-ride this egregious policy but to no avail. I am still seeking help with this in retrieving my refund.
Thank You
Mr. Johnson
