Sunday, December 14, 2025, I visited the Advance Auto at 314 Highway 9, Englishtown, New Jersey and I purchased windshield wiper fluid and windshield wiper blades. The store associate was extremely rude. I asked the associate how to install the blades and his response was, "everyone knows how to install blades." I was in the parking lot installing the blades and the associate came out to assist. As he assisted, he lost control of the wiper arm, and it hit the windshield which caused a crack. I showed the associate the crack and his response to me with an attitude, " I am a mechanic that wouldn't have caused the crack." That being said, I left and now I have to replace the wind shield, and the estimated cost is $512.00. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of my receipt. Attached is a copy of the receipt and the crack in the windshield.

Claimed loss: Windshield $512.00

Desired outcome: I would appreciate compensation for the windshield.
