My wife paid my bill on July XX XXXX using her account. I tried many times to fix this, but nothing happened. The collection agency keeps sending me bills. Why? The check number *** was processed by *** bank on July XX XXXX. I wrote it from my wife's account, and the account number for the bill is written on the check. It was made out to Access Radiology, and the account number *** is written on the check so that my account would be paid. I tried calling multiple times to get this fixed... I even contacted the "collection agency" that was assigned to bill me, but no results. Today, I received another bill and contacted the collection agency again. I also emailed them a copy of the processed check. What do I have to do to get this resolved? Can someone please tell me?

When I got my 1st statement (dated 03/30), I reached out to Access Radiology to ask about the bill since I have insurance. They said they couldn't find my account and directed me to ***. I contacted *** and they said I had a 0 balance. Yesterday, I got a 2nd statement (dated 09/27) warning that if I didn't pay within 30 days, it would go to collections. I called today and they told me it was already sent to collections on 09/15, which is before the statement date. After many calls and talking to different people, all they could do was send the file to accounts receivable for review and someone would contact me later. "This might take 2 to 3 weeks or maybe longer." No one could explain why it was sent to collections early or take it back.
