I got a call from Temecula Valley Advanced Imaging in April , saying I needed my yearly mammogram
I got a call from Temecula Valley Advanced Imaging in April , saying I needed my yearly mammogram. They wanted to set up my appointment for April 27. Then, in June , I got a bill from them, and they said Medicare didn't pay. They said they hadn't billed my secondary insurance yet, but they would. On June 23, I got a letter from RadNet billing, telling me to ignore the previous bill because they would contact my secondary insurance, Anthem Blue Cross. But in July , I found out that Anthem denied payment. I called Anthem to find out why, and they told me to talk to Medicare. They said if Medicare denied the bill, Anthem would too. I called Medicare a bunch of times, and they told me I wasn't due for my yearly mammogram. They said I wouldn't get reimbursed until May because my last exam was on May 3. I called Temecula Imaging, and they said Medicare was wrong. They said my coverage started 30 days before my previous year's anniversary date, which meant it started on April 3. I called Medicare again, and they said Temecula Valley Advanced Imaging was giving me false information. I couldn't get this sorted out, so I called my doctor's office and talked to Nicole Curtis, my Nurse Practitioner. She checked her records and said she didn't give any orders for a mammogram to Temecula Valley Imaging. She called their office and they said they didn't need orders from her. They said they could contact patients directly to schedule mammogram appointments. I called RadNet billing, and they told me to talk to "Will," the manager at Temecula Valley Imaging. On July 7, I tried to talk to Will at Temecula Imaging, but my call got disconnected three times. I left messages for Will on July 26, September 23, December 9, and January 10, 2022, but he never called me back.
