I ordered package two which clearly states in the terms and conditions that it does NOT come with a membership and is one time charge, but they signed me up for the weightloss ebook package and insider secret tips package that have a fee every month. after talking to an online chat person she gave me two phone numbers to call to cancel both of those but the numbers dont exist. I then told her that if I could not cancel those I wanted to cancel my entire order. They sent a refund receipt to my email address and hopefully it will not have charged.

Best thing to do is cancel your c/card and get a new one. That way they can't take any more money from you. If you don't and you don't cancel with ALL the bogus companies taking out of your account, you WILL continue to get stolen from.
Cancelling with all the other companies is impossible, I tried, I was given wrong numbers time and again. Even if you do get to cancel with them all, there is no certainty they won't use another company to withdraw your money.

If you do manage to read a copy of the terms and conditions, there is a clause in it that says they reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without informing you. I.e. letting other 'companies' have your c/card details.

I can't stress enough, close your c/card and get a new one. Fully inform your bank of what has happened and hopefully they can recoup funds for you. At the very least, Dazzlewhite and its many guises will not be able to extort another penny from you.

Back in July 2009, I had ordered and received the supposed "free" sample (1 bottle) which cost me NZD 23.27. There wasn't any communication between me & Acaiburn Company for ages and then i get a package in the post maybe 2 months later . In the meantime i am being charged on my credit card & i'm getting all sorts of different charge amounts ranging from $4 - $89 all in NZD. I have read most of the complaints & my mouth is wide open in disbelief & i'm agreeing with everything that i'm reading. this Acaiburn is CRAP, if anything i was in pain from it and the pills are so hard to swallow I just about gag if i take 2 at a time... & I am still eating heaps...I am very disappointed in the product and the bullying that I am now in the process of lodging a Dispute Claim with my credit card company. hopefully they will be able to help but in the meantime, I will continue to make contact with them to have a peaceful resolution.

Acaiburn is the biggest ### ever! I never asked to receive their free sample, and still did receive it! Then I check my online banking and it says $59.94 taken from Acaiburn! I call them all and ###, they tell me to send back the unopened product and they would refund, it has been ONE YEAR now, let me repeat, it has been 1 year, and they still have not done anything to refund me! Now the phone number I used to call them on is discontinued! However, they don't know how mad I am, and that this thievery is not going to go easy! I will get their ### to court, because my $59.95 is MINE, not their robbery ###!
DO NOT EVEN GET CLOSE TO THIS ACAIBURN! IT WILL MAKE U REGRET IT ALL!

Acai Burn is a scam! I ordered it for a friend who said it'd help her ( Didn't want her husband checking her banking account for random charges) So I helped her out. Shipping was $1.95, and it said the product would arrive in 7-14 days. It did NOT arrive after a MONTH of waiting, so yesterday I get online to check my banking account and there was 2 charges for $79.84 for this product. Not only didn't Maria NOT receive the ordered "FREE TRIAL SAMPLE", but I got scammed out of $159.68!

I called the number that appears on the description of the charge in my banking account, and they had me on hold for 27 minutes! before someone answered. Then the woman tried to tell me the product WAS delivered on such and such a day, and they couldn't reverse the charges! After a hissy fit on the phone (As I've got bills to pay and couldn't afford the $160 loss) they finally "cancelled" the account, and told me all the money would be refunded in full within 2 business days. So now I'm waiting to see that money being redeposited into my banking account.

Unbelievable! What makes it worse, lots of you are saying you got charged $59.95! I got a whopping $79.84 TWICE!

SCAM SCAM SCAM! DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I ordered some of this stuff about a month ago, the free trial, and as yet it still hasnt turned up. but I've also been charged about $55 aswell which was taken from my account this morning. I stumbled on this page by chance and wish I'd have found it sooner. So far I've paid out nearly $60 and recieved nothing. the acaiburn.com website no longer exists and I'm quite annoyed that this sort of practise can happen. does anyone have any contact details as the ones posted so far I've had no luck with, I'm in the UK.

thanks

I've received 2 shipments of the supplement and am searching for a way to send them back and get a refund, which the promo promised it would do. The much-hyped product did not work in the short trial (the suggested 2 weeks) I gave it before discovering there are contrindications for people taking beta blockers. So much for no-risk, 100% safe and effective. Any ideas out there on how to send this back for reimbursement?

Yes, it's a total scam and now Oprah is suing because they are using her name and credibility to flog this 'fairy dust.' I just almost never buy anything on the internet but got sucked into this scam due to the slick so called free trial. Well, the free trial was not free and now I'm fighting to stop $66. monthly charges on my Master Card. And get this. When I called to cancel, they wanted my credit card number yet again. The guy on the phone wanted me to call someone else but when I went postal on him he cancelled my so called subscription that I got duped into agreeing to involuntarily.

Buyer beware. If it's too good to be true, it is...

DO NOT BUY ACAIBURN unless you want to hemorrage money from your credit card.

Wiser...and poorer in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada.

I found the secret...order your acai burn and colon clense and acai berry detox, Then call up your bank and tell them someone stole your credit card. The company will still ship you the pills and when they try and charge you the 87$ or the other 87 $ or even the 39$ charges they will get declined...Worked for me = ) ...I ended up with three bottles for only 5.95$ lol

ACAI SUCKS!
They forget to mention that they are going to charge you around $60/month if you don't cancel your account within the 14 days of receiving the Free Sample that costs you $4.95. If you don't cancel you are enrolled in a monthly service and will automatically be charged every month. To make matters worse, they won't refund the money after they charge you. This is Un-American and complete [censored].. If you want to lose weight do it the right way.. Portion Control, fewer calorie intake, and working out..

The oly reason I ordered it and thought it was safe was because Oprah's face was plastered all over their site!

Yea my homegirl told me that Acai Burn was gonna charge me...and I replied "no they arent it is a free trail". So my inner gut said to call so I did. They asked me for my name and number, in addition said that i will be charged 59.98 for the 60 days that they shipped me. I asked to speak to a "supervisor/manager" and explained that I didnt want to be charged for something that I was unaware of. I also made a point to say that the shipment didnt say shyt about the charges after 14 days. He said that it was in the T&C that "you" being I clicked on.. which I do not recall reading. So next step I asked to speak someone above him he said that they Dorant, the facitlity manager does not speak to customers does not have an email nor does not have a number.. I told him some that his run around bullshyt is wrong and that I will report them to BBB. I havent been charged as of yet but I know its coming... I hope as least its just a one time fee rather than every month hassel.

This is not true. You do not refund people or even give them a cancellation number. I cancelled my order on June 19, just one hour after I placed it. I received the product 17 days after that and returned it right away to China, as requested. I sent lots of messages and always received weird answers. It has been 51 days now and no refund or cancellation # yet!

Office de Protection du Consommateur (OPC), a Quebec government organism, is working on the problem. They found out that Acai Berry products are sold on the Internet with false representation. First of all, Terms and conditions are not CLEARLY displayed. They do not comply with Quebec laws for lots of reasons. If those people want to do business in Quebec, they'll have to follow the rules.

ACAI BURN IS NOT A SCAM. JUST MANY OF THE WEBSITES THAT ARE PROMOTING THIS PRODUCT ARE SCAMMERS!
They lure you in with free trials or a bottle for $3.95 but they have a 3 page contract that states you are signing up for an autoship program and they will be charging your CC for up to $89.00 a bottle. We are an honest online retailer who sells Acai products and other health and beauty products at Bathhousenaturals.com These scammers are ruining it for good hardworking honest online retailers. We have a 95% repeat customers on our Acai Burn WHY? because it works- you loose weight - we have had people lose anywhere from 4-22 lbs in one month. If these auto ship programs keep charging your CC, call the CC company and dispute the charges. Next send the company an email or call stating you would like to be removed from the autoship program and refunded. If you are not removed and refunded within 48 hours, let them know you will be contacting your States Attorney to file a complaint. If they dont refund you file the complaint. Also keep an eye on your credit card statements (which you should do anyway) for future charges.

I fell for the free trial like a lot of other people. As live in england I was charged $24.95 for shipping. Then when nothing turned up after 2 weeks I rang Acai burn and the lady said to wait one more week, when nothing still turned up a week later I rang again and was told another free sample would be sent. I asked the lady if I would be charged as you only get a couple of weeks to cancel any more orders that are automatically shipped out and charged to your credit card, she told me that she wrote a note on the computer saying the trial would begin in a few days and that I had 3 weeks to cancel any further orders. What I didn't know was that I had already been charged on my credit card for $59.95. So I had been charged before I had even recieved my trail. I started my trail and found the product didn't work for me, when I rang the company they made excuses for charging me and said that I had been charged because I had been sent 30 days worth of pills but the trail was only for 14 days and that I had to return the unfinished product before they would return my money, and that when they recieved the product back it would take 2 months for the money to be refunded to my credit card. I told the lady that I had rang twice previously about not recieving the product and she admitted that there were notes from my previous calls but that it was too late and charge had already been taken. When the money was refunded I lost over $18.00 due to the economic environment. I also noticed 2 small charges being taken from my credit card in dollars over 2 months and wondered what they were for, so I contacted my bank and they said that through Acai burn these 2 companies were charging me for memberships to who knows what, even though I had canceled everything with Acai burn. Luckerly my bank was good enough to contact both companies and cancel any more charges but no refunds were offered. Be very careful when setting up a free trail. Do you notice that everytime you get offered a free trail there is a little counter counting down saying something like you only have 8 mintues before your free trail offer expires, alarm bells should be ringing.

I have been scammed by this lot and I don't know how they obtained my credit card details as I am very wary about this sort of thing. The thing I worry about is the side affects of one of the components of the tablet and that there is a greater threat of contracting diabetes. Which for me would be fatal and I would NEVER put myself in that situation. Anyway I am going to the press, here in Australia, on this one. The reason is Happy Acai User is promoting the use of this drug. I wonder if this person has a family history of diabetes and hope its not too late to stop taking it?

The thing that pisses me off is that the terms and conditions are under a heading labelled "Satisfaction Guarantee".
This suggests that the text is concerning a guarantee about the product or customer satisfaction and NOT something which the customer is then tied into.

If it's terms and conditions it should be labelled as such. You can't just put the terms and conditions randomly under any old heading and then say it is clearly written on the site.

This Acai Burn is a pure SCAM! I ordered it along with colon pro cleanse as they were advertised together. I tried cancelling my memberships before the 14 days, but for some reason was still charged crazy amounts for both and I later found out I was signed up with these 2 memberships from acai burn. If this happens to you, here are the numbers to call : [protected] and [protected]. I had to cal these people numerous times to have it cancelled, when they finally told me to send back the unused portion with a tracking number I did, over a month ago and still haven't got a refund. Anyone posting favorable comments to this is probably working for the company and has to do so...because the nightmeare with these people is insane, especially with colon pro-cleanse for those who ordered them together. And yes you expect to get it for free since it says FREE trial, only shipping charges are mentioned till you receive all those surprises afterwards. The fact that people don't always check their statements especially for small amounts allow them to fraude us legally untill we wake up. CALL AND CANCEL, and if you want a good pruduct order it at its normal price, it will come out cheaper in the end, with no fraude and no pre-authorized payments that seem to be unstoppable. Good luck everyone!

GETTING OUT OF THE SCAM!

If you get caught with this scam, do the following to get out:

For the "free" memberships (pretty easy):

1) Cancel the additional memberships immediately. Call the numbers on the bottom of the screen, which are:
*[protected] Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book Package (Shows on statement as Membership)
*[protected] Insider Secrets To Weight Loss (Shows on statement as Web Access Fee)

2) Make sure to write down and save your cancellation numbers.

For ACAIburn (much more difficult):

1) Talk to an online chat person. Get them to tell you that they will not charge you for anything and will do a full cancellation of your order. Repeat that you DO NOT want the product shipped. Say it over and over again. You want NO CHARGES and you DO NOT want the product to ship. Make sure that they tell you that that is possible if you call the cancellation number. Email that to yourself.

2) Call the cancellation number and ask to talk to a supervisor after they tell you that they have to send the product out and cannot cancel the shipment or charges.
*[protected] AcaiBurn (Shows on statement as AcaiBurn)

3) Tell the supervisor that you were told in no uncertain terms that you could fully cancel the shipment and all charges. Offer to email him/her the transcript of the chat (which you have emailed to yourself). Refuse to get off the phone while they check the email.

If it works for you like it works for me, they will do a "master cancel" of your account. This means that they will ship the product, but will not charge you. They will also not require you to send the bottle back after you use your sample. According to the floor manager I spoke with, I will not get charged for anything. I triple checked and then took his name and ID.

Crossing my fingers. Ugh. I feel like an idiot.

I am based in NZ and have ordered from Acai Burn a couple of days ago. Like everybody else, I too didn't read the terms and conditions and entered my CC details.

I did realise it later that this might be a scam and tried to cancel it. I did chat with someone and asked them to cancel my membership. They did mention that I will get charged for the first shipment but have been removed from the member program. I got the following email confirming the cancellation :

Your Acaiburn Cancellation Confirmation

Dear,

Thank you for taking the time to try out Acaiburn. This is an automated message to confirm that you have recently been removed from our preferred customer program; therefore you will no longer be receiveing any more Acaiburn products or shipments unless a shipment had already been shipped prior to your cancellation.

In case you are still within your 14-day trial offer, then you are still responsible for this order as well as the billling of $58.76 for the Acaiburn bottle at the end of your 14-day trial period. This billing will only take place if you fail to return the product back to us before the end of your trial period. If we do receive and process your trial return at our returns department before the end of your trial offer period then this charge will not take place. If you 14-day trial period has already ended and you have received or been shipped an additional shipment, then you will not be billed for any other shipment from this point forward.

Please keep this cancellation note for future reference.

Sincerely,
Acaiburn Cancellation Department

Hi. This email confirms we have received and processed your request to cancel your membership to Comprehensive Weight Loss. It's a shame that you will no longer be able to take advantage of our ebooks, members' area and up to date information and advice on how to lose weight while staying healthy.

Please note that canceling Comprehensive Weight Loss will not affect your subscriptions with our other offers or any other companies.

Our goal was that you would become one of the thousands of Americans who have used Comprehensive Weight Loss to slim down, look sexy and feel vibrant without starving yourself or paying thousands of dollars to trainers or diet advisors.

We do, however, understand you may not be ready to put in the effort to lose weight, or you may simply feel that Comprehensive Weight Loss is not right for you. That is your choice. However, if you have decided to try out other weight loss solutions, we hope you will consider coming back to Comprehensive Weight Loss if you realize they are not as effective as you may have hoped.

Thank you.

I am not sure whether these emails actually do confirm my cancellation.

Nobody care about the BBB or attorney and maybe that's true but I can guarantee your merchant account is going to care when they have hundreds or more chargebacks.

Everyone...do a chargeback on your credit card - they get dinged big time for these :-D

That last post was clearly written by the owner or an employer. Real mature with the low blows calling people fat and lazy and greedy.

The problem with your site is how poorly structured it is which is why people don't read everything. Acai Burn site is all over the map. The number of pop ups was crazy. And it is clear you do that so people get frustrated and close some of these windows...and in one window in very small print reads all the "terms & conditions".

That site had the longest sales pitch ever...pages of nonsense with that lady who claims to explain this amazing deal for you...she forgets to point out a few things.

By having the longest sales pitch in the world and so many pop ups is why people are mad. If you actually had any professionalism you would state your pitch on ONE page and list at the bottom about your guarantee or terms like every other legit site does.

Bottom line is you are unprofessional and give online businesses a bad name. Putting some ### terms & conditions pop up in small print on page 6 or wherever the you put it is the exact reason people are mad.

You have a loop hole by doing that but really how do you sleep at night?! And so immature with the name calling...grow up and get some integrity!

Somehow these people got my credit card #, I DID NOT order this stuff and all of a sudden all these items started arriving at my job! Colon Revitalize! AT MY JOB! It was on my corporate credit card and the card had to be canceled. I got the Acai Burn, Colon Revitalize, Acai Nutraburst, Life Cleanse, Amino Genesis (FaceLift in a f*cking capsule), and Amino Genesis Wrinkle Erase, AND DazzleWhite tooth gel. I don't know how they got my card number. All the products arrived one after another over the course of a week. :(

I suggest that anyone thinking about buying ANYTHING on the internet, look at conpany's website and see if they have included the name of the company, the address and the telephone number. Call the number and see who answers the phone and verify all their information. Ask them what the catch is. Just be very careful. If you are looking to lose weight, you are a prime target.
