On Saturday August 13th at 2120 the gas pump continued to spill gas after my tank was full. I did not notice that the automatic shut off was not working and there was no sign saying this. I use this gas station always for the past twelve years and the automatic shut off always worked, so obviously I was not looking at the pump. About two gallons of gas were spilled on the ground before I noticed it. I went into the store to inform the staff of the spill, as it could be dangerous, and I tried to explain that this is not my fault and I asked for compensation for the spilled gas.
Two men came out, they said it was my fault, and no compensation would be made, the one man called me "broke [censored]" because I said I would report this. They kept shouting at me to move my car so that they can put the material down to cover the gas. I know the one man. He has been working there for years. I see him packing the shelves and doing other work, whenever I go there. This is poor customer service
Desired outcome: these two men should be trained on customer service.
