I contracted my home to be sold at the end of May 2026 for $275,000. The house sold for $270,000 in three days. I was never told or did I see anything about a seller credit of $5,000 to the buyer, which means I sold the house for $265,000. I became aware of this credit about three weeks after I moved while I was checking the settlement statement I received at closing. I never agreed or was aware of a seller credit. Also, I wanted 6 weeks to close, and the realtor insisted the buyer wanted 30 or would walk. The realtor took advantage of me being 75 and alone and pushed me top accept the offer. I did ask what I would have received after my house was bought and another bought, he would never give me an answer. He also decided I needed help packing and came to back. He would not use furniture blankets. and my furniture was extensively damaged. He did not consult me on the closing dates and my furniture sat in a hot truck with temperatures of 100 over 6 days. I have moved many times, starting out as a military wife and this was the move from hell! As a result of being blinded by this realtor, I have lost $5,000 and my soled wood furniture was very damaged whereas I must pay the cost for repairs. I warn the military and others not to use Hive Realty in the Fort Bragg area.
