I have tried several times to cancel. this is my last resort.
I am writing to formally demand that Yellow Pages immediately stop all charges to my credit card and reimburse the unauthorized payments taken after I cancelled my advertising service.
In October 2025, I notified your company by email that I was cancelling my advertising services. I also confirmed this cancellation by telephone. Despite these clear cancellation notices, Yellow Pages has continued to charge my credit card.
These charges are unauthorized.
I have already attempted to resolve this matter directly with your company. However, the charges have continued, leaving me no choice but to issue this formal notice.
I require the following actions immediately:
1. Written confirmation that my advertising account has been fully cancelled.
2. Immediate termination of any further billing or charges to my credit card.
3. Full reimbursement of all charges processed after my cancellation request in October 2025.
If this matter is not resolved within 10 business days of the date of this notice, I will proceed with the following actions without further notice:
• Filing a formal chargeback dispute with my credit card provider for unauthorized charges
• Filing a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario
• Pursuing recovery of the funds through Small Claims Court
I prefer to resolve this matter directly and promptly. Please confirm in writing that my account has been cancelled and that reimbursement is being processed.
Sincerely,
Margaret High
