Taxi ride from sky harbor terminal 4
The cab driver broke my tablet screen.
We arrived to Sky Harbor on 12/21. We went to the taxi driver stand and no one was there (typically there is someone sitting that gives us a card and writes the cab number on the card). It was ~8pm. Cab driver of Cab #230 grabbed my backpack from me and accidentally dropped it. Another Cab driver made a noise and asked what was in it. I said my laptop. Cab driver #230 grabbed it and put it in the trunk. I didn't realize it until the next day that my laptop was fine, but my tablet screen was shattered.
The job number was #268329.
I called and talked to multiple people and was told that I had to contact Sky Harbor risk management. After the holidays, I received a call back and was told to make a complaint here.
Claimed loss: My tablet screen replacement cost $212.31. I have the invoice and a picture of the broken screen.
Desired outcome: I would like reimbursement for the tablet screen replacement.

Taxi driver car number 51
We were picked up 4804 34 ave 838pm. Taken to 711 on 34 Ave. And back. As Payment was going though he stated something to us in his language. To which we didn't understand and then proceed to get out but doors are locked until approve Payment. He still kept saying something. We got out walking away he drove by started to yell obscenities at us! Very rude. Ignorant. Wish to not have this kind of person working with the public. Needs to be more respectful to customers not a racist. Should be let go.
Desired outcome: Fire him

Service crew who arrange the grab food order
(liar and unprofessional) Crew of yellow cab Makati Ave, Makati City. I am a grab rider that I am complaining about the crew who arranges food for the customer's order at grab. (August 7 2023, Monday around 10:20 pm to 11:00 pm) The crew gave me the wrong food, a different job order. While I told him my job order number several times, I think the crew is sleepy or lazy, PLEASE CHECK THE CCTV. My customer got angry and we two grab riders were disturbed because of the crew's mistake. I admit that I also made a mistake because I didn't double check the receipt, because I was tired and hungry. I am not familiar with the menu of the yellow cab because I rarely get a job order at the store. When I returned to the store, the crew told me why I took the order, it wasn't pizza, meanwhile he called me to take the order. It was only mine why He blamed me for the mistake while he was the first one to make a mistake before me. (we are the same). I didn't even hear the word sorry.. thank you very much and sorry for my mistake
About the size of pizza we signed for a contract.
I signed a contract for installing a tarpauline on our place. The size of pizza which is 15" inch that is indicated in the form of contract I signed in. And yet when went to Yellow Cab branch in Nuvali Sta Rosa Laguna, the manager said that they changed the size of pizza they're distributing for those who signed the contract. You don't have to change the size of pizza (15") that we signed in the contract form. We need to finish the contract before you decide for changes.
Looking forward for your kind and quick response for this issue.
Respectfully Yours,
Jett Lazaga
(Contract Bearer)
Taxi ride
We had been staying in Vegas for 10 days. Everytime day we took a Taxi it would charge us depending on the distance.
Each ride took between about 10 minutes and we never paid more than 12 dollars.
On the last the day we get in the taxi for a 7 minute ride to the airport.
2 minutes into the ride we were told that we will be charged a 21 dollar flat rate. This made us very angry because we would not have taken the ride if we knew this was the case.
Desired outcome: A 50% reimbursement of our 21 dollar fare would be appreciated.

Yellow cab driver in cab number 599
Was getting on State route 518 at 9:45 a.m. on April 27th 2023 heading westbound. The driver of vehicle #599 came speeding onto the on-ramp from Tukwila doing at least 75 80 miles per hour the way he zoomed past. I'm in my work vehicle a Sherwin-Williams box truck that has a maximum speed of 65 mph. Apparently that wasn't fast enough for him so he floors it around me and cuts me off then swerves his vehicle at me. I noticed he appeared to be an African dude and he starts making a bunch of hand gestures and gives me the middle finger. Things would have went a lot different he's lucky I'm at work. This guy needs to be reprimanded before he hurts someone or gets himself hurt. These are the type of incidents you hear on the news and you never get the true story about what started it. To him
Desired outcome: Someone's needs to reprimand him before he causes an incident
Taxi Driver J819
This driver did not use his meter and overcharged me 5 times the normal rate for the ride and then proceeded to lock me inside his taxi until i paid. He was extremely rude and abusive. He tried to also hit on me and when he realized i was not welcoming his advances, starting insulting me. He also refused to take a credit card and insisted on cash only before he would let me out of his taxi. He should be in jail for false kidnapping.
Desired outcome: Fire the driver for cab J819. He is the worst unprofessional driver i have ever used.
Taxi Driver from LAX
Feb. 10, 2023, 1:56pm PST, Taxi #6120 (I have withheld the Taxi Driver’s information as instructed to by this website.)
On the above date and time, this Taxi Driver tried to hustle/charge me with a false, overprice, illegally fare from LAX airport to my home (approx 4 miles/10 minutes ride or less). When I told the Driver, that I wasn’t a tourist and worked at LAX (I showed him my work ID)—he had no choice but to change the fare. I tried calling the Yellow Cab Company directly at [protected] to file an official compliant; however, only an automated system replies, with no option to speak to a live Rep., nor to submit a complaint—only to order a taxi.
Desired outcome: Have the Taxi Driver lose his Taxi Permit
Taxi service from Miami International Airport
I took a cab from Miami International Airport to Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale on January 12 by around 4 pm. The taxi driver #8675 purposely dragged out the ride, drove some weird remote streets and turned around several times having taken the wrong direction... In the end, he presented me with a bill of $140 and had the nerve to ask for a tip! It's not the first time I take the Airport Miami - Fort Lauderdale trip, but the first time to be ripped off like that! And not to mention how the interior of the taxi was unkept! This company should be investigated, allowing their drivers to rip off their clients like that!
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a partial refund to a adequate price!
Woman Cab Driver, Car #837 on Tuesday, January 24, 2023
My Yellow Cab taxi driver, Car #837, arrived at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. I opted for meter instead of the flat rate. Immediately I noticed the woman taxi driver decided the best way to get to Alhambra, California, was to drive surface street. She kept informing me that the street was a faster way to get there because the freeway was congested and barely moving. Ok, so I thought eventually she would hop on the next onramp. She skipped two of them, and I mentioned it to her about that. She kept assuring me that it was okay.
It was not okay! I wanted her to take the freeway, and she didn’t listen to me and kept driving on surface street! When she drove through Skid Row, I finally became infuriated and told her I was paying for the ride, I did not feel comfortable (I stated this several times), and I wanted her to get on the freeway. She finally did, and the freeway was not that bad and was flowing.
When she got off the Atlantic Boulevard exit in Alhambra, I noticed she was going to make a right turn into a residential street, and I quickly instructed her to continue driving straight and make a right turn to Valley Boulevard which is the next major street to my final destination. The ride from Los Angeles to Alhambra took 52 minutes which is ridiculous because when I drive to Alhambra, it’s never taken me that long even in bad traffic. The distance is about 12 miles.
I did not appreciate all of the constant turns here and there and dragging out the meter. I have used Yellow Cab in the past and have NEVER experience anything like this! In addition, I had called for a cab on Monday night, January 23rd, and waited for an hour and NEVER received a call and NEVER got my ride! I cancelled the request and my mechanic gave me a ride home at 7:00 p.m.
For future rides, I will use Lyft or Uber.
Driver only taking cash and over charging
Came off the boat at pier 83, cab sat there with light on, asked to go to Lexington, said $30 cash only as he was off shift, (then why was he there) and never started his fare machine. Gets to Times Square and asked for more money as the traffic was bad. We left the cab and paid $20. He then turned light on and continued his job. Clearly on the take and not genuine cab driver
Desired outcome: What ever the normal punishment is. Makes you feel NYC is dragged down by these people to tourists like us
Driver
On December 26, 2022 at approximately 11 pm at the Miami International Airport I was picked up by cab 0870. All during the ride the driver complained about how the dispatcher at the airport had given him such a short distance fare. He was complaining so much that I asked him to transfer me to another driver. His driving was also erratic and unsafe considering it was raining.
There were also no interior window decals with the cab number or a phone number to call with concerns.
Desired outcome: Retrain driver how to interact with the public. Have driver take safe driving course. Install proper interior window decals.
Overcharge and no GPS
MED#6L29 Driver 5135516
I’ve taken Yellow Cab a number of times from Weill Cornell on 59th with the average charge of $25 plus tip. Today, this driver charged $48.35. I told him I was never charged that much and he tried to blame me for poor directions. He did not have a map or GPS on his phone and asked for my phone. I couldn’t give to him because it would lock up when passed. I have never been in any car service especially Yellow Cab when the driver did not have GPS or some type of map. I asked him where his map was and he said he didn’t use them. This is crazy and because he didn’t take the most direct route, it cost me an extra $20.
Can this $20 be refunded or at least a coupon issued?

Desired outcome: Coupon for $20 to be used with Yellow Cab
Ridiculous prices
I was made to pay ridiculous amount of money simply for taking a ride between 2 spots that are less than 2 km. First I moved some stuff when the driver charged me $36. The next time I was simply moving back to my place and I was being charged $28 which is ridiculous. I didn’t want to pay it but the driver insisted and I had to pay $20. I want an explanation on this and I want my money back.
Corrupted system provided me wrong driver name and contact number
I am very stressed out and upset with customer service and whole company set up system, I had early flight in morning at 6:30 am American Airline from LAX to Miami, I called yellow cab made reservation for pick up this morning at 4:45 am they sent me text prior to driver arrival and provided me contact number amd name for driver
At 4:43 am taxi picked us up and drop us off at airport terminal 5 lax I was going to pay driver woth my Amex and on way getting off I left my wallet in taxi
As Spain as I noticed tried to contact that number has texted me and it kept going to different driver with different name and the I kept calling company finally they answered me and connected to supervisor, she aaa telling me they couldn’t find driver and there were no driver picked me up finally I had proof woth my Amex that I paid driver and I had wasted my time already that I lost my flight for $90” amd I was crying and emotionally so disturbed that kept calling them and they said they can not find driver and then they found driver they told me he couldn’t find wallet after many times call by by friend and me finally they said ok he found. It and when they brought my wallet back that my flight has been canceled
And my whole trip was cancelled and I left behind broken heart and devastated and lost my time with family over long weekend and when I was going to book new flight it was doubled the price that I couldn’t afford it …. I am extremey upset and complaining about This corrupted situation with taxi service
Wait for too damn long
Having a customer waiting for more than 1 hour is not good business at all. Then when I called trying to explain that to the dispatcher, she said that there was no ride booked for me wow I mean you guys have to to do a better job because this is not good service at all. And I have to wait another 30 minutes before the cab arrived. The owner should fire all the dispatchers because they are not doing a good job as fas as the drivers, they Don’t care some of them should be fired also
Cab ride from 2997 Wall Street, Vancouver July 30, 2022 ( Tel [protected])
On July 30 I booked a cab for my husband for 2.30PM. Before getting in the cab he told the driver that he needed to go to Abbotsford International Airport. From our home at 2997 Wall Street it would have taken a few minutes to get to the TC1W (Trans Canada 1 Highway) and on to Abbotsford. We have done this drive many times - it usually takes us 45 to 60 minutes.
My husband has told me what happened. Firstly, your driver drove off in a different direction from TC1 West. Initially, he thought the driver was taking a different route, but then he realized that that he was driving towards Vancouver International Airport. My husband had to tell him TWO TIMES that it was Abbotsford International Airport he needed. Only then did he turn around.
By the time they arrived it had taken an hour and 30 minutes and the fare was $171. The estimate was $150. The driver did not offer to discount it for his mistake.
We need to know why we were not asked our destination when we made the booking. This should have been recorded for the driver.
Second, this is not the first time that we have found it difficult to communicate with your drivers in English. Due to this, they tend to be abrupt and impatient.
We have not been satisfied with your service for many times now yet we have kept using you in the hope that you will improve. But after this last time, I rather doubt that I would use you again.

Desired outcome: It must be standard for passengers to be asked their destination on booking and this is to be recorded for the driver. Politeness of alk drivers must be a given.
Charging me extra fare
I had a Veteran Adminstration appointment on friday July 16, 2022. I called for a Yellow Cab in which I always do. He was hours late and overcharged me more than I usually pay coming to and from the V.A. Something needs to be addressed with this cab driver who have had a route from V.A. to the North Dallas area. He has overcharged me, something needs to be done with cab drivers over charging anyone. He did not have the fare meter on. I know exactly what I am charged going to the V.A. Hospital. Above all that I had to stop by an ATM machine to access more money to pay him. If nothing is done I will forward this to a higher authority of misfare. This has made the 4th time of compaint with V.A hospital are taking care of.
