I started a car loan with them middle of February. It is now March 17th. They were extremely quick to jump on my application,however after giving them all my information over 3 times, because apparently they don't communicate with eachother and then telling me they'd get back to me. They found approval, and then they just stopped contact. If they have to work a bit harder to get you approved like they did in my case,they just lose contact with you.

I have since read reviews, with the BBB and I wouldn't recommend ever.

They pretend you're their best buddy until they don't.

I bought a used car and signed a contract saying payments start on March 15th. However, the car didn't arrive until March 22nd. The car salesman, ***, told me I would get reimbursed for the first payment and that accounting would send me a check to my home address. It's been 2 months now, and I still haven't received the check.

I got a car from Right Ride Calgary in February 2022. I got a remote start installed in May 2022, but it hasn't worked since day one. In July, my air conditioner, alternator, and battery all died. I've been reaching out to Right Ride, but they haven't responded at all. It's getting colder now, and I still don't have a working remote starter. They completely ignored my battery and alternator issues too. They haven't given me a price for fixing my air conditioner either. This company hasn't said a word, not even through social media or their marketing team, manager, or sales rep.

The car I bought and the agreement for buying it, I feel like I've been done wrong. I didn't get everything that was promised, and the car itself needed repairs. I'm still waiting for a part that's on back order. I mentioned before I even got the car that I wasn't interested anymore because of a faulty sensor causing a delay. I said I didn't want the car anymore because it's already proving to be unreliable. The salesman told me I had no choice because the papers were already signed, but they said they would make it up to me and assured me the car was in good condition, even showing me inspection reports. I got the car and it needed some small fixes to pass inspection. Even before I got the car, I wanted to cancel, but they said I had no choice. After I got the car and found out about the needed repairs, I told them again that I didn't want it, especially because they hadn't followed through on other promises. There's so much wrong here, and their response to the necessary repairs is that they've already put a lot of money into my trade-in. I didn't even want this car before I got it, and now it feels like I'm stuck.

We were approached last October to offer a reduction of our car loan interest. We were guaranteed that we would get a lower interest rate and no extra fees or changes when switching to this company. We hesitated, so they offered us an extended warranty and only charged us for the time we used it. We finally found out that RightRide Calgary was the new lender. I called to find out the exact loan amount with them. I was shocked to discover that our car loan had increased by almost $10,000.00 if paid out immediately! I also noticed a higher payment charge every two weeks instead of monthly, which was different from what I was quoted when accepting the offer. The person I spoke to said they had nothing to do with the loan amount and that I would have to deal with RightRide. I have tried contacting them multiple times, but they are always busy and never return my calls. My original buyout from the previous lender was $12,185.00 and a few cents, but my new loan was quoted to me at over $22,000.00. I have read complaints about RightRide, and many of them mention that *** is also involved. They seem to be working together to pull this off! I sent an inquiry to Right Ride Calgary South on Oct 13/22 about a 2019 Kia *** LX. On Oct 14/22, *** contacted us. He worked on getting us preapproval. On Oct 21/22, *** reached out to let me know that due to our credit situation, we had to get our approval in a non-traditional way by having a third party put our loan in their name. Now, we had a trade-in (a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan) but because we needed the loan in the third party's name, they had to treat it as a separate deal. *** told us we would be getting $2500. He originally told me on Oct 24/22 that we would receive the cheque when the van was picked up or very shortly after (see text messages), he also offered to direct deposit it. Then on Oct 25/22, he told us that the driver was going to come pick up the vehicle and the $2500 would be *a few days for processing(see text). On Oct 27/22, I asked *** when to expect the money for our van. He told me *** business days. From business day ***, I tried to contact *** with no response. I called Rightride with no response. I emailed the manager, no response. Finally, Nov 8/22, I was able to reach them via phone. I spoke to a lady named *** who told me the head office "ran out of cheques" but I would be able to go and pick up my cheque at their head office in *** later that day. A few hours later she called me and told me I would have to wait until tomorrow. Being fed up, I sent multiple emails to HR and managers. Finally, Nov 10/22 the manager, *** called me. He told me that he was hoping to have my cheque ready for me to pick up that day and he would call me back. (He didn't). I also received an email from *** (HR Manager) who now tells me that I have to wait until next week for their approving managers to sign off on the cheque and then mail it to me. There is still no date, just whenever they get around to it. They took my vehicle and have not paid me for it.
