Wyndham Rewards Reward points

There seens to be a problem with Wyndham giving you the points owed to me.And/or the proper amount. I have been staying in Wyndham Hotels for about 9 months now. Continously nught after nught, week after week, and mo th after month. I was staying at Days Inn North on Dayton, Ohuo.bI recently changed to Days Inn Huner Heights also part of Dayton, Ohio. I am a Diamond Member. And I without question have spend crazy amount of mo ey at your hotel. I feel its only right for me to expect my points when dye. And in the pfoper amount. And if you fewiew my account you receive the points whenever . And rarely do I receive a)l my points. Wyndhams Rewards Brochue clearly states that you Re to receive 10 poi ts for every dollar spend, or 1000 points whichever is greater.( It may read whichever is more.) I had 168 points this morning which if proper math applies that fivure is impossible. Now i have I velieve 648. Which is nit correct. I should have had1, 168 poi ts. Take the tone and look over my accou t and i pronise you there will be several times I didnt receive or in the wrong anount. Ive been told Wyndham has a week to apply points. I dnt really agree with that. Vecause Wyndham re extremely quick toremove your points. But that is what it is. Please just apply thepoi ts I am due. Thankk You,
Essen Crase

My keys did not work in door so I go to front desk to have them reset them. She was with a customer so I waited for her to finish then when she was finally done she took someone else that was checking in mind you it was 345 PM when check in is clearly at 4 all I needed was 10 sec to reset my keys. So she got an attitude when I said all I need is my key...

Wyndham Rewards Loyalty program

It appears that Wyndham is the only rewards program of its type that removes points after an 18 month inactivity period. Other programs do not have such a policy. As most people raising children there have been times of inactivity. In 2012 wyndham replaced my points after going over the period and I used wyndham loyally since that time until 2018-19 when a was diagnosed for a life threatening illness. After surgeries and recovery period my wife and I decided to start travelling again but noted that when I began searching accommodations my points had expired a couple weeks earlier. I contacted the program and received the following response. As a result I cannot endorse such an unethical practice. I again state that other programs do not expire points!

Hello Dan,
Thank you for contacting Wyndham Rewards®. Upon reviewing your account, I see that this account is inactive. Activity is defined as the earning or redeeming of Wyndham Rewards® points. We had made a once time exception to return points to your account on 02/23/2012. Please be advised, after 18 months of inactivity any points on the account are forfeited. Your account became inactive on 07/31/2019 and the last activity was 01/15/2018. I reactivated your account today, however any points prior to the date it became inactive have already been forfeited. According to the program guidelines a member must keep in mind as they manage their account balance. Accounts will go inactive after 18 consecutive months of inactivity and your points will be forfeited. If we can be of any further assistance, please let us know. Sincerely, Cheryl Wyndham Rewards Member Services

And representative we had asked us to sign some documents online but didnt inform us that she was pulling our credit report until we get a letter in the mail stating both of our credit reports had been pulled by Wyndham. Noone ask or got our consent before checking our credit report.

Wyndham Rewards Account

I am disgusted and disturbed by how my personal information was compromised through Wyndham Rewards. An inactive member since 2015, my information was hacked through their system and used to impersonate me and book hotel reservations. When I called I was juggled around by each customer care and Wyndham Rewards representative and told that it was probably a "family member" of mine that made these reservations- half way across the United States. Our personal information is NOT safe with this company and I will ENSURE that this is made CLEAR. Do not trust this program it is nothing but shady and up to no good!

Wyndham Rewards Microtel inn and suites

I am a diamond customer and has used Wyndham hotels exclusively for years but I reserved 2 rooms for June 14-16 1019 and was for the first time disappointed in the service we received. We checked into the rooms and within 15 minuets was on the phone with Wyndham to try to get our hotel changed. The rooms were disgusting, hair in the beds between the sheets and candy wrappers in the floor by the bed. I was told by Wyndham that I couldn't be refunded any of my points due to late cancellation, so I had to go across the street to another hotel use my last 30, 000 points and $153 cash to stay there. I have never complained about their service until now. By loosing all my points I had saved up I'm considering looking for another points system to start using. This disgusting motel was rated 4 stars, how I have no idea. It shouldn't have been an option for Wyndham customers.

Wyndham Rewards Cut my rewards free nights in half

Rewards points to stay free before April 3 2019 were 15, 000 points. Now they are 30, 000 points. Cutting everyones free nights stays in half. No notice that this was going to happen to their diamond members. There needs to be a class action law suit on this. It is a total RIPOFF of loyal diamond members who have earned these points by staying at a wyndham hotel and getting point on their wyndham charge card. I have canceled my card and now stay at Hilton

Wyndham Rewards Wyndham rewards and ramada inn

I recently stayed at a Ramada inn booked through wyndham and upgraded room through wyndham and front desk at Ramada to a suite. I get there and they practically tell me i'm homeless. They are completely booked except for one crappy little double. Don't expect them to take your comfort or happiness into account when you stay. They just want peoples money. We are cattle. Your diamond rewards means nothing. You are not special. They make that very clear.

Wyndham Rewards Customer service

I was on the phone to six different staff members and twice got conveniently disconnected when talking to the customer care team (who apparently handle complaints). All I wanted was to confirm a booking that was made a month prior using points only to find out the booking was never made and the property I required did not have availability on those dates! There was a $99 fee to use the points which has already being deducted from my card and rather than refunding me that money they just ‘apologise' and say they will investigate the matter. Not very helpful considering my flights have already been booked and they've taken my money! Seriously the worst customer service... expect a whole lot of - I understand your frustration (you don't!) and sorry there's nothing I can do to help!

Wyndham Rewards Anaheim wyndham presentation

This presentation was painful and terrible. Just as bad as a timeshare presentation I had attended in the past. I listened to their presentation for two complete hours plus and declined the offer over and over and they kept saying, they have not finished their presentation, but they did not have any new information. I told them I have been here over two hours and would like my gifts and to leave. After the two hours plus, they brought additional people and completely disregarded me and my time. This presentation is as high pressured as it gets. I guess they were trying to reassure me by saying, look, everyone else is still here. I did not take that as a good thing. I was the first one out in over 2-1/2 hours. The breakfast they offered was bad and they had you eat it while they started their presentation. I will not be attending anything from 'Wyndham' and recommend to all people I like that they avoid any of their presentations.

Wyndham Rewards Not receiving points on a 2 night stay

Stayed for my birthday at Travel lodge in Windsor locks Connecticut, booked thru booking.com, was just informed I will not receive points for this stay as it was booked thru another party than Wyndam. The hotel itself SUCKED..was dirty, no microwave, refrigerator, needed a blanket, that finally got delivered to my room at 11pm, after I had to make numerous attempts to get it, as well as extra towels. The hotel clerk knew nothing if my points, she said they would be added, but she didn't know about late check out. There was only 1 working ice machine, which was located down a very dark hallway across the whole property. Very disappointed with Wyndam. You would think they honor their REWARDS program and give points when due.

Wyndham Rewards My stay at wyndham motel 8 jackson, mi

I booked a stay at a Wyndham Motel 8 Jackson, Mi on Monday night 8/6/2018.

There were NO TOWELS when we arrived, except for a floor mat towel which was stained. No customary toiletries, only a bottle of shampoo..no bars of soap. The room itself was not as "clean", walls in bathroom looked unwashed, ect...only picked up. Typically my experience at any Wyndam Partner Hotel, cleanliness is NEVER an issue.

Complimentary Breakfast Area in the morning was FILTHY. I've included pictures. It made my skin crawl. I didnt even trust the coffee so I left to purchase some at the local Starbucks. I was so disappointed. Not up to the basic standards of any hotel stay, let alone a Wyndam family establishment.

Not only did it not meet my expectations of quality in any sense, it was a total waste of my rewards points. I travel a lot between Battle Creek and Ann Arbor. Being a rewards member to me means confidence in ensuring me a consistent, quality, clean and comfortable stay because of the Wyndham reputation but it's also been a great way to save money. I was beyond disappointed with both this time.

Wyndham Rewards Phone call

I just called the Wyndham's reward where I am a daimond reward member where I've spent over $3, 500 in a house tell stay waiting to close on my home and when I call to speak to a representative I was transferred to a very rude supervisor who over talk to me who asked me why did my credit card declined when the funds are available and was so rude will not let me speak and so I disconnected the call I told her that she offended me and she still proceeded to over talk me unfortunately I did not get her name but my name is Myesha Jackson I'm sure that you have recordings of your calls and that manager needs some training because she is horrible and I am not pleased I have stayed at this hotel for 41 days and now they're trying to charge me $100 deposit because they're stating that my card declined and the balance shows reflects positive for more than the amount of the room and I told the guy at the desk so I can go get the cash but it's very disappointed

Wyndham Rewards Awarded points or lack thereof

We stayed 8 nights in Wyndham properties and got points for 4. When I emailed customer service I got some bs about some nights count and others dont. Wait, what? Stayed 2 nights in same hotel on a Tues and Wed and got points for one but not the other. There is no reasoning behind how points are awarded. Called customer service and this is an even bigger joke. We stay in a hotel EVERY night for business. We will go out of our way to avoid Wyndham properties. Red Roof Inn awards points on EVERY stay and no pet fee. I don't have time to waste on scandalous business practices. Goodbye Wyndham!
