Woolworths Service

I normally shop at BWS Elanora Heights shop BUT I am not going there any more. I am sick of the renovations - 1) Most of the parking spots are full of tradesmen parking, 2) when you enter the store there are groups of men standing around talking (obviously people doing the renovations) and they do not move out of your way - you have to walk around them, they stand in front of the aisles so it is hard to find what you are looking for. 3) Hardly anything on the shelves whereas they used to have a really good range. I understand that this is due to the place being renovated but it has been WEEKS and I am just sick of the inconvenience of it all - wouldnt be so bad if you could at least walk around the shop without having to sidestep groups of men chatting about whatever! The people that work there are always nice but they also were all standing behind the counter chatting - I couldn't find what I was looking for - no-one came to help so I walked out in disgust and went to Dan Murphys where I will now be shopping !

The chocolate coconut water has not been available for purchase in the yeppoon store for over a month - please bring it back to the yeppoon Woolworths store! My kids and myself, love it! Other flavours in this brand are still available. When I brought it to staff attention they proceeded to inform me that they never stocked it, which I know for a fact is not true.

Woolworths Woolworths home brand cat litter 14 litres

I run a cat rescue site and always buy your product . I went in there yesterday and you have increased it by $6.70? It has increased by $2 . When I need to buy 20 14 litres this increase is huge a fortnight. It's an extra $40 . I will now shop bulk at another store . I believe alot of your customers will do the same. Would you please explain why the high increase ?

Hi Daniel harasses all his staff no one wants to work for him. He is mean makes ppl cry calls ppl names says he will hit you if the work doesn't get done. This store has never bbq chickens available I have complained about this before but still no chicken any day I come also the bread shop in the store is supposed to have pana de casa and stone backed bread but they never do and when you ask for it they always tell you they have sold out any time of day that you come to this story funny that when I go to beralla they always have plenty

Woolworths management staffing

During the day I went into woolworths get a few things for dinner no there was a staff member that was named Debra there, very rude disrespectful towards me and my husband staff around wast friendly at all.

I have came into this woolworths Thursday 7th at 12.25 I got served by a young lady that was bubble and outgoing she had far way the better customer service skills she was on register 7 down the pack when she does a brilliant job of packing

Woolworths complaint against staff member - kylie (self serve area).

Background - My ex daughter in-law works at woolworths and the bitter split between her and my son has created a TOXIC environment at Woolworths..
Then, some months ago i had reason to talk to the store manager about a problem with some of the checkout front service girls. I was very unhappy with the attitudes of the girls at the front BUT told the manager i was happy to only complain at store level if he pulled his staff into line.. At the same time i complained about the attitude of his staff, I also mentioned the incompetence of some of the checkout people who had squashed items by poor packing and asked him was i able to use the SELF SERVICE to do my own checkout, even if i had a large amount.. He replied if i wanted to use the store SELF SERVICE then i was right to go ahead.
I told the store manager i would not go outside the store on this occasion but next time i would.
Today complaint:
Around 10.30am today (8th Nov 2019), I lined up to at the self service area. My wife and i had a trolly each - it was our big weekly shopping.
Kylie approached me and told me i had to take the 2 trollies to one of the checkouts..
I told Kylie the store manager had told me it was ok for customers to use the self serve area if they preferred.
Kylie told me with attitude that it was store policy to go to the checkout..
I replied i didn't like her attitude and asked for her name.
She turned here back and walked over to the supervisor to inform her that i wouldn't move.
I asked her for her name and said i was going to lodge a complaint against the way she spoke to me and her attitude to a customer.
She turned and said ..
"It's Kylie - knock yourself out."

I am sick of having to deal with the terrible attitudes of SOME of the Checkout staff..
I know the staff mentioned would love it if we took our business to COLES but i would like to think "BEING RUN OUT OF TOWN" attitudes were gone.

Woolworths cashiers refusal to honour gift card stating that it has expired

On the 14/8/2019 my grandaughter received a $40 gift card for her participation in a health care program. Her mother took her to Macksville Woolworths NSW where they shop regularly on 3/11/2019, when she presented her items at the checkout the cashier told her that her card was invalid because it had expired. She was very disappointed and embarrassed, her mother covered the cost to save more embarrassment. The card has an issue date but no expiry date and it is your store policy that all gift cards have no expiry date stated on the card. Why would your cashier say otherwise and refuse to honour the card. It was a very upsetting experience for both my grandaughter and her mother

Woolworths checkout service

I shopped at about 4pm today 6/11/2019 and was at the checkout operated by Mel. Admittedly the order directly before me in the queue was very large (approx $400), but it took close to 30minutes to get to my groceries. Mel appeared to know the people she was serving and had several conversations with them. While she was putting my groceries through the checkout, she used her mobile phone to send a text message.
I find this behaviour and service unacceptable.

Woolworths dairyworks tasty grated cheese 500g - mouldy product

I purchased this product yesterday afternoon 4 November 2019 at Woolworths, Thornleigh NSW. It was placed in a fridge bag on the way home and refrigerated until needed today. On opening the packet tonight, which still had the seal intact, the product had mouldy blue/green cheese shreds at the top of the pack, which proceeded to trickle down into the rest of the cheese at that point.

Product information:
DairyWorks New Zealand Tasty Grated Cheese 500g.
Best before date: 13 Mar 20
Bar code: 9 4210 18 085 154.

As I am unable to return this product to Woolworths Thornleigh until next Monday I have discarded this in the garbage. I still have my Woolworths receipt of the goods purchased. I would appreciate a replacement product.

I presume that as my cheese was in this mouldy condition, other packets with the same barcode might be contaminated.

From experience, I have learnt that you should always take your paper receipt and check it before leaving a Woolworths store - Australia wide.

For a number of years, at least once every three weeks, after checking my receipt and the price charged, I have received the overcharged item/s free. Often "specials" marked at a lower cost on the shelf appear on the receipt at the full price. I refuse to go through "self check out" areas.

I have also found that some operators have no idea what a vegetable is e.g. a parsnip compared to a carrot. Often there are operators who do not know an apple from an orange or cannot press the correct buttons, however, you are usually charged for an item of a higher price and then have to seek the refund.

It is time consuming to check your docket and take yourself off to the Service counter, when they check the prices charged they appear to have this happen so often it is not an issue to them but your have cash back in your pocket.

I would suggest that Woolworths do not read anything on this site and it is just in place for customers to make a complaint but not taken on board by anyone at Woolworths. Unless you make a complaint at the Service Desk or with a store manager re issues you are not in a position to know if your complaint receives a hearing.

Woolworths strawberries

HI, I bought 2 bought 2 boxes of strawberries on Sunday 3rd Nov. Luckily for my daughter she cut her first strawberry and this is what she found. She then checked a few others and they are mouldy now(scared to eat the others) so i have had to throw the boxes out.
Not sure if i have kept my rec though to get a refund.

Woolworths crumpets

I bought two packets of Crumpets on Friday night and put them in the freezer as soon as I got home, but when I went to eat some on Sunday morning they were mouldy, making me think that they must have been mouldy when I bought them. I bought these Crumpets at Woolworths Causarina in Darwin NT. I was really looking forward to eating them and am very disappointed now and probably won't be buying any more for a while.
