WinCo Foods shredded jack and cheddar cheese blend

I've noticed your shredded cheese contains the most cellulose of any store brand cheese I've purchased. It not only tastes terrible but it's also unfair for the consumer to pay cheese prices for wood pulp.
Also, I appear to have an allergy to the type of cellulose you use and or the quantity.

Many of the other items I purchase on a regular basis have increased in price by as much as 30%. Yours is no longer a discount grocery store.

WinCo Foods customer service

I was using my debit card to pay for my groceries on 11/22/17, when the cashier was having difficulty working the register. He had me run my cars four times because he said the register was running slow and kept canceling the transaction. So then the cashier called a manager to help him, but when the manager came the cashier didn't explain the issue he was having, he just left and closed his station because he was moving to cover another register. So when the manager came to help he told me that the transaction was declined and that it dis not go through. Although, I had showed him on my phone that my bank account showed it processing. He was not sympathic to the error caused by the system or cashier he was basically putting blame on me like I did something wrong, when all I was trying g to do was pay for my groceries. The manager Andy was very rude by making facial gestures and condensending remarks when I asked him questions on why he could not ask the cashier what he problem was. I have never had this type of experience when shopping at Winco, they made me feel belittled and disrespected as a customer.

Sincerely,
Gina Richard

I was so looking forward to a crunchy cinnamon cracker, I am so dissapointed let alone dissatisfied. I'm not sure what you will do with this info but I hope u make it right so nobody else has to go thru this. I'm sorry to complain but I'm really not happy. Thank u for your time. Brenda Hurley

WinCo Foods customer service

Granddaughter and sister went to winco 11/12/17 checkout time 11:38:30
cashier sco 92
she suffers anxiety and going to store is important exercise for her she had certain items to use my atm card for and certain items to use her atm card for she has checked out this way numerous times as she was checking out with second card, manager very loudly admonished her for doing that and said her manager no longer allowed it she told her she was holding up line and pointed to all the people behind her and let them know she was holding them up there is no sign satin she could not do so she had no problem being told of new rule but the manner she was told was very embarrassing as she left all the clerks pointed at her gesturing it was her fault for others to have to wait she did not have many items in either order very unprofessional I expect more as a long standing customer

I'm surprised every time I hear about a problem with someone using someone else's debit/credit card. Part of both the user and merchant agreements clearly state that is not allowed.

It's there a proper way too handle this? Absolutely. But the whole issue could have been avoided with a little common sense.

WinCo Foods scented pinecones

What is your annual profit on this product? Is it worth losing a customer during the time you sell it?

My family physically suffers from scented products. This is becoming a more common issue as chemicals become unregulated and technology to produce stronger scents becomes cheaper. We have enjoyed shopping at WinCo, and are sad to have to leave while you continue selling scented products.

If you can only give once, please consider the safety of my family this holiday season. We can't wait to come back when unscented products are not part of your inventory.

Thank you.

Hello, 10/30/17 Winco on 79th and Powell. Latoya M, Cashier. 15:13:56 I had noticed a very strong perfume odor when I was in line, but didn't think anything of it. However, I just got home and unpacked my groceries and every piece of food the checker touched smells so strongly of her perfume. I'm super sensitive to odors, perfumes, dyes, chemical...

WinCo Foods bakery department

I have been a client of this store for many years now, last week I made an order for cupcakes at 7am, the person who took my order was named Elizabeth (bakery manager). When I went to go pick up my order, as always, my order was not ready. I have had many bad experiences for many months now, and the person in charge is never present. They lose and always mess up my order. Winco used to be my favorite store for years and never had these problems but now with these frequent problems it has been a disaster.

WinCo Foods hot food department

I went to WINCO to get some chicken for a family gathering. Once the individual finally decided to help me and I told her which I wanted, she proceeded to tell me the cost. I told her that I was aware of how much it would cost. After a several more times of her telling me how much it would cost she finally started packaging the chicken. I wanted 25 each legs/wings baked and fried. She counts out the wings and tells me there is not 25 of the baked. I told her I would take what she had. She again tells me that my order is going to be expensive. I again tell her that I am well aware of how much it is going to cost. She then tells me I should get it mixed because it would be cheaper. I again stated my order. I have to tell you at this point I have never in my life want to punch someone in their face as much as I wanted to punch the woman. After about 10 minutes she finally finished the order (25 each legs/wings - baked/fried) because she kept feeling the need to tell me how much it would cost and how expensive it would be. She finishes my telling me next time I need to order ahead because they were busy. Are you freaking serious. What difference does nit make if I buy the damn chicken or someone else. Her goal was to sell the chicken. I will never never go to WINCO again and will make it my life mission to tell everyone I know to never ever go there. This woman's behavior was rude and she clearly should not be working in a customer service industry. All she had to do was box the damn chicken.

WinCo Foods handicap parking

The store in Spokane Valley has horrible handicap parking. Most of the parking is way around the to the west side of the bldg. and 1 slot per aisle in front of the bldg. This makes it extremely difficult for handicapped people to park and shop. It is a long walk from the west side of bldg. I don't understand why a store would make handicapped people have to walk farther than other people. It is really very shameful.

WinCo Foods your drug testing policy.

I'd like you to know, it's very easy to fake out or use someone else's pee when taking the test. I know of many employees, who were using a variety of drugs while employed. Most still are employed, one was a store manager. I just thought you should know there's a lot of drug addicts working for your company. It's one of your new locations on 79th and Powell.

I went to Winco's to purchase a few grocery items... ie my daughters birthday cake and a few other items totaling less than $20 and the head clerk told me they were not able to accept my check because the check number was to low and the address was different on my checks and ID (because I recently moved to the area) so which meant it was a fraudulent check. I wrote a check at the same store 2 weeks prior to this one and had no problem. The first clerk was Hispanic like me but this clerk was white. She was not the original clerk to help me mind you. As soon as I took my check book out she immediately came over and said she would help me. Then she said she couldn't take my check even though my name is on the checks and it matches my ID. The minute I asked if because I'm Mexican it obviously means I'm writing fraudulent checks?! She said I can take your check this time but we can no longer accept checks from you. Not only did I feel very offended but I felt humiliated because she did this in front of other customers. I even tried to show her the previous check on my phone showing it had cleared but she refused to look at it.

To top it off when I got home I was still angry at the racial profiling. My daughter like all ten year olds was excited about her birthday. She kept asking me when her friends would come. They were running late. I got so fed up with her that I threw her cake on the floor and she started crying. I slapped her and told her to go to her room. Unfortunately one of the mothers of the other friends saw me and said that I was abusing my daughter and said that she was going to report me to social services which she did. I have a feeling that she only did this because of my Mexican background. My child may be put into foster care. I asked them to give me a refund for the cake or replace it but they said that since the cake derruction was their my fault and not theirs they won't. The destruction of the cake is their fault and my daughter's fault for making me that angry in the first place.

WinCo Foods not accepting credit cards

It would be GREATLY appreciated if you posted "no credit cards accepted" at every register &/or had your checkers ask what form of payment the customer is using before they start ringing up any items! Also the checker should know the answer as to why a credit card is not an option. After going back & searching for a sign I now understand why they are not accepted but I'm sure this is an issue that happens daily as no other grocery stores have this policy therefore it is very unexpected when you go to pay & can't. A sign above the entrance is just not enough.

WinCo Foods failed customer service

Cashier had a very bad attitude from the beginning to the end of the transaction. He had a look as if he was ready to go to blows. There was 3 people pilled up so I couldn't run the belt. I asked if he could please push down my things he just looked at me and turned away - Not assisting! And yes he did hear my request - unfortunately!
I realize this likely won't be addressed or acknowledged, but if Customer Service is REMOTELY important to your company I would at least watch him for yourself

WinCo Foods quinoa flour

Would you please start carrying Quinoa Flour? This product is not only healthy for everyone but is especially beneficial to diabetics. It is so hard to bake for a diabetic as flour has been stripped of all its nutrients and is categorized as high glycemic index and cause the blood sugar to raise high and very quickly. Quinoa Flour has a low glycemic index as it does not raise the blood sugar level quickly but release the carbohydrates slowly.

WinCo Foods hot shot petsafe natural flying insect killer
