WinCo in Yuba city Ca would not let me get more than 3 gal of distilled water that I need for medical purposes. Assistant manager said he didn't care and that was just the policy. I told him many times it was not for drinking but for medical purposes. Again he didn't care. He kept saying they didn't have any water in the back for the employees. I told him again the water was for breathing and not for drinking.
Desired outcome: Medical justification should override limit policy

No one drinks distilled water, thats not what its used for. There has been limits on water regularly since covid started which is why I'm sure that policy was put in place to prevent people from stock piling. I doubt you go through it so fast you would need to get more than 3 gallons at a time otherwise why wouldn't you buy a distiller, medical grade ones go for $250 and can put out 6 gallons a day
