Western Dental Services I had an appt for a filling

On Tuesday oct 5 after an appt with my periodontist where I had a deep cleaning and X-rays, I was told I had a cavity. I called western dental and explained everything to them and they gave me an appt to have the filling done on Friday at 10 am. the appt was con firmed o n Thursday, that I was bringing my X-rays and that they would do the filling. When I arrived at 9:45 in. Friday they said they would not do the filing and that I had to undergo X-rays etc and that they would not have time to do the filling.
I am disgusted with the way I was treated, I lost a day of work and I will never go there again and I would do anything I can to discourage people from. using this service. I asked to see the dentist and the office manager Lynne could not have been nastier.and would not let me speak to the dentist

Western Dental Services Services, price, discrimination

Its always a problem finding my account every appontment.

And I have come to the Western Dental Countless times. Records that are suppsed to be there. Im told they dont have. This company is fraud.

They are charging large sums of money and treating parients for cash under the table. And over charging patient's with coverage plans.

Western Dental Services Appointment scheduled

My son had his 6-months dental checkup in July and was told we were going to be called when a pediatric dentist is available sometime in August - never received any call. He was also scheduled for an ortho screening in September 11am and was told to wait in the car, 2 hours passes still no call and no one answered our call in the office!

Western Dental Services Infection control during covid19

My daughter had an appointment for a general exam when the dentist came in to do the exam he put both of his fingers in my daughter's mouth without wearing gloves. She now has a sore on her tongue and on the back of her throat. I find this very risky and very unprofessional considering we're in the midst of a pandemic

Western Dental Services Service

Last week I had an appointment to fit my dentures. Gave my information and was told to wait outside will call you. Well I don't have a cell phone, there were two people waiting in back of me with no masks on. I told the lady I was going to wait inside because of the two without masks. So I sat there and waited 45 min. They finally called me up to the desk and said were sorry but your denture have not come in. So I asked why didn't you tell me when I got there? Then I got the brainless wonder look. I asked them to let me know either way before my next appointment if they come in. Nothing! My appointment is today so I called to see if they came in. Of course no one will answer the phone. Then finally got through to some one who tried 5 times and she could not get through either. I am 66 and have been doing everything possible not to catch the virus. And I don't want to go out if I don't have to. But you will not answer the phone. Your office needs to require masks. I paid $12000 cash and have been treated like crap. I will not recommend them to anyone!

Western Dental Services Dentures

I have had my denture mold sent back 4 times to 2 different companies to fix the issue to no avail, the fit is completely off 4 times
The dentist measured my bit with a sharpie pen and a ruler extremely
Un professional, my account is paid in full and its been 5 months +
In want my money back and I will find a real dentist that can fix the continued issues this place has caused

Western Dental Services Nearly drowning me and suffocating me.

I went in to have some cavities done and when the dentist was doing a filling on one of my front teeth he almost drown me. There was water going up my knows and I could not breath multiple times.
The second time I was sufficating was when he was doing a filling on a back tooth of mine and he had his hand so far in my mouth he was blocking my means of breathing by his hand covering my nose and I was unable to breath multiple times.

I had an appt. set originally at the beginning of Jan.2020 for an extraction and implant. Western Dental called and had to reschedule it to the end of Jan.2020. Then Western Dental called me again and changed the appt. to the next week. Western Dental had billed me two weeks before the treatment was even started. When the day of the appt came to start the trestment they said they could not do it but yet they still charged me two weeks earlier and expected me to make a payment. I spoke to the manager Sanian at the location I was suppose to get the service done that day so I could get credited for what they charged me so far since they did not perform the service on me. He said it will take up to 20 days to get the credit. Then a whole two weeks goes by and I get a call from the Western Dental office on El Camino Real in Santa Clara saying they need my card number to credit me. Why did they not ask that at the time in their office instead of waiting two weeks later? Plus they had it on file because they charged my card without doing the services but yet they play stupid and say they dont have it when I am deserved a credit for the services never performed! So I called today (over 30 days now) and I still have no credit issued to me. They said it takes 20 to 40 days and it is still in approval process. Excuse me but they charged me before any services were ever performed and never ever performed those services but yet it takes them forever to approve something they should not be questioning and they owe the credit to me but don't issue it! I call this bad business. Crooked business! Terrible business and I plan on making it known to as many people places and things I can in this world! Not to mention they almost suffocated me twice! That is in another complaint I've sent to you and the BBB and the Dental Board!

They have not issued me a credit yet. They billed me for services not even performed but they cant seem to issue me a credit. Also, there customer service is terrible! They cant resolve any issues they create and they created many with me. I will never ever trust my mouth in their hands ever again! They almost suffocated me to death twice! If I would gave died I would gave came back and haunted them from the grave!

Western Dental Services automatic billing updater

I called this office on 10/12/2019 around 1:20 pm for my billing updated. She said can not do that and try to give me another number to call. I asked her if she sure can not do that? I believe she was getting rage and hang-up. To Western Dental. This person is unprofessional customer services. Should i deserve to have service with Western Dental with the kind of very rude and so temper of this kind of person services?

Western Dental Services pulled tooth

Worst dentist ever. I had a tooth pulled and he left pieces of sharp tooth still in my mouth. He didn't even look when he pull the tooth, to make sure he had everything out. The first day when I get home and the numbing wear off. I noticed that there a sharp piece still in my mouth stabbing my gums. So, I had to use my finger and force that sharp piece off. 3 days later I'm still in pain so I look in my mouth and there's another sharp piece. So, again i used my finger to get it off and it took me forever, but I got that one off too, but the other side of it I cannot get that piece off whatsoever. And now I can pull my gums back and it looks like there is more tooth under my gums or a bone I'm not sure what it is. But it's killing my mouth. And it looks like blood blisters have grown under as well. I called and what I was told is don't worry your body will reject it and it will push outon it's own. Well, I don't believe that one bit now I have to find a different dentist to help me because I'm in so much pain. And the area does not look normal at all. The pics r nothing from how it looks in person.

Western Dental Services billing

I disputed a transaction because I did not authorize the payment however it's been almost 10 business days and I have yet to receive my refund.So after that I told them to take my debit card information off my account they still managed to process a payment I had spoke to someone prior and they said my card was no longer linked so now I have to dispute another transaction

Western Dental Services ortho

Requested void on 8/5/2019. Void was approved. I Was told payment refund would take up to 72 hours to post. As of 8/9/2019 No funds have been posted to my card. All operators are giving me the run around and have no knowledge of what to do or how-to handle the issue. The payment is still pending on my account. I need my money refunded asap. Thank you

Western Dental Services brand of implant

Dear Western Dental,

I got an implant at the Corona office on Main several years ago. It is now loose and I have since changed dentists. My current dentist reached out to you regarding the brand of the implant because the screw needs to be replaced. They spoke to a Stephanie who gave us measurements but not the brand of the implant that we were inquiring about. On another call, she told me the dentist wanted to see me and I would have to come in to get this information. I told her I am not coming in and I am requesting this information to be given to me over the phone. Then last week she promised I would be able to find out the brand of my implant by Friday, August 2nd. I have still not received a call with the information I have requested.

I am worried that my implant is going to break as it is very loose. Would somebody please be able to provide me the information I am requesting? I didn't think it would be this complicated.

This Dr should not be allowed to work whit children she does not know how to deal whit children she is rude and unprofessional they way she tread my son today and the other last app any parent will not tolerate I walk out today I told them how can you let this dr work whit kids staff say I don't know really ?! This dr can not work whit kids she looks mad and the way she grabs the children will get any parent mad I don't grab my kids like this

Western Dental Services all the secretaries at the merced western dental office

This is the second time I've been cut off from a conversation with a front desk worker at Western dental in Merced California. Then I call customer service to see who I can talk to to make a complaint. They put me through to a supervisor who ends up hanging up on because I raise my voice y I raised my voice is after I explain to her what my complaint is she wants to ask me what can she do for me is she serious then wants to say I threatened her look the problem was I seen the dentist last week but before they can do any work for me "I" have to "Just" get my doctor to "Sighn" a paper to continue my dental work sounds simple but apparently there's more to it I need a "physical" not just a "Signiture" just like I thought it sounded to easy so now I have to cancel my appointment with the dentist wait till next month to see a doctor now see when I can get another dental appointment so yes I'm more than disappointed for something that wasn't explained to me about more professionaly by the dental staff and then talked to by a desk worker like it's my fault and for making her have to do what she's paid for to answer questions or pass me through to someone who could explain to me why I wasn't given the right procedure on what I had to do other than get a signature.. I had talked to someone the first time this happened and in there own words said they had complaints about that office they are rude and something should be done about there secratairies in that office

Western Dental Services unlicensed employee

I've just been informed that the western dental in huntington park, ca has a employee working as a dental assistant by the name of brenda escamilla, she's not certified to perform those duties, my sister goes to that location often and didn't want to make the complaint. She needs to be removed as dental assistant asap before a patient gets injured I hope this is taken seriously as it should, if any questions please call me thank you [protected]

Western Dental Services dental work

I was in the office for 5 hours. 1 hour was just waiting to get called back even though no one was in the waiting room 4 hours of the dentist trying to get an abscessed tooth removed. I was given the lowest amount of ibuprofen (600mg) and amoxicillin you could get and was told that's the highest he could give me. He took so much of my gum out that now my other tooth is exposed. I dont think my infection is even gone yet. I still have alot of jaw pain and can feel a lump still. I have pictures from the day it was pulled along with after.

Western Dental Services they don't work with kids

I have three kids. 2 of them are twins and are 5 years old. In April of 2018 they went into the dentist to have their first check up. And because my kids would not sit still during xrays they did a visual only. Then said they had a couple of cavaties. They referred them to salida surgery to get complete xray. They put my kids to sleep to give them the xray! Then they had 2 cavaties filled. So today my 3 year old got the front of her teeth xrayed but because shes so young she wouldnt let them take a picture of her back teeth. So again they said it looked like a surface cavity so they referred her to salida surgery center. I flipped out! I explained then why did i sign all those forms about gas and i was ok with them using it to get them to relax at least. I told them that they referred me to salids surgery and they put my kids to sleep for an xray. My daughter is 3 years old and dental records are a requirement for her to go to preschool. I dont think this is necessary at all.
They say they are a kid friendly dentist..if that was true then they wouldnt send little kids off to be put to sleep for an xray.
My next complaint is this, you make your appointment and show up 10 min prior to appointment and forms filled out ahead of time.. My appointment was at 2:00pm. Thry didnt see me until 3:00pm that was just for xrays.. Waited agin 45min in the chair for the dentist to show up to give an evaluation of her teeth. My son had an appointment at 2:30 he didnt get seen until 3:35.. Then at 4:20 I had it at that point. So i was waiting from 1:50 til 4:20..ridiculous!

Western Dental Services appointment for three children

On Saturday July 20th 2019 I had an appointment for my three children [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed] starting at 9:30 at the western dental location located at 5807 University Avenue San Diego Ca 92115 which the only children specialists location in San Diego, so the only place my kids can be seen if I chose Western Dental. I live all the way in Imperial Beach which is 45 minutes away from that location but I thought no biggie sing I likED Western Dental. So that morning I made the drive when I got to the exit which was 5 minutes away from my appointment they called me to cancel that their computers were down. I think that is very wrong for them to call me 5 minutes before my appointment instead of calling me one hour before to avoid me from making the drive this is ridiculous and unprofessional. I went to the office spoke to the manager and she did not care. I believe that they should be held accountable for their actions this was horrible customer service and in the process you guys lost 5 customers all my children myself and my husband because we will never be back because of this injustice and we are gonna find a new Dentist. I just wanted to let you guys know of this incident for if you guys truly care about customer service.

Western Dental Services billing

Ive gotten 2 bills from Western Dental. I did have work done about 4 years ago.. Since I didnt get any bills from them I thought I paid my debt. First letter came in March or April of 2019. Stating I owed about 300. This last letter stated they would give me a 25 percent decrease on the total bill. I dont think I owe anything. In 2016 I did question my bill and said it was fine because I had 2 dental insurances.

Western Dental Services billing

On April 20, 2019, I made a payment in the amount of $850.00, to my Care Credit Account, all funds were immediately deducted! Again today, I am receiving phone calls stating a payment is due! I have received nearly 100 calls after being told that this is an error and we apologize!
I am now furious!
CORRECT this error please, or I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau!
