Wes Carver Electric - Reliable and professional landscape lighting

I recently had landscape lighting installed by Wes Carver Electrical Contracting, and I'm genuinely impressed with their service. The team was punctual, courteous, and took the time to understand my vision for the outdoor space. They offered practical suggestions that enhanced the final result without pushing for more expensive options. The installation was seamless, and the lighting has transformed my backyard into a cozy evening retreat. It's been a couple of months, and everything works perfectly. I appreciate their attention to detail and the quality of their work.

Wes Carver Electric - When I called to schedule an appointment, I was told it would be $69 to send someone out to diagnosis the problem

When I called to schedule an appointment, I was told it would be $69 to send someone out to diagnosis the problem. I was also told that this fee included a complimentary safety check. Upon the electrician’s arrival, I found out this is not the case. The $69 fee is the dispatch fee. The electrician proudly showed me your four level set fee scale and told me it would be $392 to diagnosis (and hopefully fix) my problem. Why was this fee scale not mentioned during the phone call? If this is something your company is so proud of, why was the scheduler not forth coming with telling me the different fee levels. I was very much mislead into believing that $69 would diagnosis my problem. After waiting 2 weeks, I figured I should pay the additional fee to get the problem diagnosed. The electrician spent about 45 minutes to an hour running around my house insisting that there were other outlets on the circuit that was experiencing problems. At the end of his time, he told me he realized there was nothing else on the circuit (which I had told him) and then explained what the problem supposedly was. This behavior leads me to one of two conclusions: either the electrician is incompetent or he was searching my house for other problems to charge me more for repairs. Either way, this did not sit well with me or leave me feeling confident in the information he was sharing. The complementary safety check was nothing more than the electrician recommending an outrageous level of work on my house. Clearly, the safety check is just a way for your company to convince unsuspecting customers to paying for unnecessary or grossly overpriced repairs. I have spoken to other professionals that have indicated that the fees I was quoted are extreme. These same professionals have also told me that they have never heard that an electrical panel has a 30-year life span. The electrician from another that just left my house shared that the wires to the outlet in question were not reconnected to the breaker in the control panel. They were just left hanging. There is no problem with neutral wire as your technician claimed. And he did not install an arc fault breaker as I was told. I am disappointed that I paid $411 to what seems to be a very dishonest and trustworthy company. I will not be using your company again. I will not be recommending your company to anyone. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because I feel your practices are deceptive and misleading.

We are completely satisfied with the service and level of professionalism shown by our tech, Jason. I really love the back & forth communication this company requires. Jason outlined what he believed are necessary upgrades to our home, gave us a few quotes to chose from, and then proceeded with the job we requested. There was NO PRESSURE to move forward with his suggestions at this time. Jason was a pleasure to be around, wore protective gear and shoe coverings, and wiped down the areas he worked on with disinfectant, even though he wore gloves the whole time. I think we found our go-to electricians moving forward.
