At this particular Giant Eagle in Madison, Ohio they have a rule no more than 7 a week. I dont carry money or a debit card so I write good checks never have i had a bounced check. They repeatedly humiliate me in front of other customers and other employees when my check needs a override and they set it up so my check makes the whole computer system go out...

Vons Self Check Out

The Von's on Glendale Ave in Glendale CA has started have no or one check stand open to force us to use Self-Checkout. I am a senior and you are penalizing seniors and disabled by forcing us to use self checkout. I left Ralphs and moved to Vons because of the outstanding service I received in the checkout stands. I now feel like I need to move on to another store to find a place that allows its customers to chose between regular checkout and self checkout. I love Vons but I left last time you tried this and returned when Ralphs followed suit. I will not hesitate to leave again unless this problem is remedied.

Desired outcome: Have more check stands open. You already have 15 or less item stands (the only one open today which makes no sense whatsoever), maybe a senior and disabled stand.

Vons Customer service

The cashier/ acting manager ring my order through with even looking up at me...after processing my order never looked up and told me my total...gave me my receipt still no thank u or [censored]...I said 'I don't even get a thank you'..nothing...if I'm spending over 200.00 a simple thank u is in order...very unfriendly staff..plus the shelfs were kinda bare.. no whole chicken in the meat department...I won't be going back to this location anytime soon

Vons Overall customer service, especially in the Deli department

There have been many times that the deli dept. has provided very poor service, like the time that the woman behind the counter told me they didn't have ANY turkey available at the time I was asking for it. I brought it to her attention that there were 2 untouched/new ones in the very front of the case, in front of me, and I offered to open the case and hand it to her. At that point she really didn't have a choice but to slice the deli meat. That's just one example, problems occur nearly every time. I make it a point to pick such things up at Sprouts or Jensens' Market. Yes, those markets are in another county and requires planning, but that's my only option.

Yesterday, I hadn't' planned and needed deli meat for lunches today. So my husband and I went into Vons in Yucca Valley, just for deli meat. We went to the deli counter and there wasn't anyone in sight at either the deli counter or the bakery counter that it next to it. We called "hello" no answer. We waited 20 minutes and I decided to go to the front checkouts and ask for service. The male checker told me that there should be someone over at the deli counter, basically blowing me off. I told him I'd go back there again. I went back and walked into the bakery area, behind the counter and called. There wasn't anyone in the area. I walked back to my husband and we were talking about what could be causing this issued. A young woman walked by us, looking down, I said excuse me, no response, again louder I called "excuse me" and she stopped. I asked her if there was anyone in deli? And she said no. She said that the staff for that dept. was on a lunch break for 30 minutes. I stated that we had already been there 20 minutes and then she corrected herself and said they had a 1 hour lunch break. I asked if I could take some deli meat back to the meat dept. and ask them to slice it, and she said no. I said well how am I suppose do have the meat sliced, and she said well I could do it, but I'm busy, and she walked away. In disbelief, I decided to select a pkg of pre sliced meat, NOT what I wanted. I went to the checkout, deliberately not the man that was rude before. It was a quick transaction, only the one item. My checker (Inez) asked me about my experience and I told her. She didn't seem able to believe what I told her. She took my receipt and walked back to the bakery dept, I was right behind her. The young woman that told me she couldn't help me was just standing in the area, not busy with any task at all. Inez started to talk to her and she told Inez a completely different story, so I spoke up and said that isn't what you said, and the argument began. This young womans name is Jessica. She was pouty when Inez told her not to argue with me, and she glared at me. This is unacceptable. Period.

The management at this store has been sub-standard for many years.

I will share my experience with everyone, but I'm certain I'm not the only one with a story.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response.

Vons Vons delivery

On june 19th I order food for delivery from Vons. They delivered my entire order to another apartment. They said I would have a refund in 5 to 10 days. Today is 10 days, no refund. I called a bit ago, the rep told me the refund was never requested nor was the delivery marked as bad. The he said I will have to wait another 10 days! I need food now!

I chatted with several reps over the last 10 days, and each one assured me the refund was on the way. And it had never even been processed in any way. I am also complaining to the FCC, and any other agency I can find.

Desired outcome: I WANT MY $54.34 back!!! I need to give them a new card info. I called, and the guy would NOT TAKE MY NEW CARD INFO. Then he hung up on me.
