Volkswagen mounting and changing two tires

Made an appointment at Liberty Motors, Rapid City South Dakota, 57701 (registered Volkswagen dealer) on wed, may 10 at 2 pm to replace two tires on a 2012 Volkswagen CC. When I arrived, I was informed that the job would take one hour. I left for lunch and arrived 40 minutes later to see that the car was on a hoist with the front tires off, and no mechanic in view. After walking the car lot for over another hour, the situation did not change with my car. Meanwhile, several other cars were being serviced. It took two hours to mount 2 tires. I missed a very important meeting.

Volkswagen auto repair

On April the 5th I could not get my car to crank, so I knew a diagnoses was needed. On April 9th 2018 I had my 2010 Volk Wagon CC towed into Pete Moore imports.

In the past, I had great experiences with Pete Moore sales. I purchased my first car from this store. And many of my family members has done business with Pete Moore dealership as well. However this experience was alot different then before. I called the service center an spoke with a service representative named Codi. Whom explained that it would be a two week wait for a diagnoses on my car. After a week and a half I got a call from Codi. And he explained that the mechanic would have to take a more indept look into my engine and it would cost three-hundred and some odd dollars. I accepted the expense an waited.

However a week later I got a call from Codi explaining that something was problematic in my engine. However he didnt know what. And it would cost over five thousand dollars to fix. He explained that he would give me more details after he get the mechanic closer look at engine.

After almost 4 weeks of waiting with Pete Moore. An still without a clear diagnoses of what was worng with my vechile. I suggested that replacing the engine would be cheaper then repairing the broke one. An I researched the price for a replacement. Codi explained that he would price it for me. Judging by his tone I clearly got the impression that he didnt want to.

Not to my surprise, while listening to voicemail that Codi left me. He explained that it will still be over five-thousand dollars to replace my engine. Because he wouldn't replace the engine unless there is a warranty on it.

When I explained in the opening that my family had been long time fans of the Pete Moore dealership, I was serious. My mother had to have a engine replaced at Pete Moore an she did not have to have a warranty. And after speaking with friends that's had major repairs done at Pete Moore. None of them had to have a warranty on there imported vehicles.

At this point I could clearly see that Codi an Pete Moore had know interest in my business. So I called Codi Wednesday and explained that I will come in on Saturday 4/28 and make the payment to retrieve my vehicle.

Saturday 4/28 I was asked to pay 119.00. without even so much as a diagnoses.
After the vehicle was dropped off on Saturday 4/28. I opened the door to my back seat. An discovered my engine dripping in oil on my leather seats. At this point i am livid.

This is not the dealership that I use to know. I will not encourage anyone to do business with Pete Moore. And a great deal of people are disappointed in the way I was treated. Shame on Pete Moore for losing it core focus. Which is the customers. It will cost me more money to put my car back together that was scrapped by this dealership. I have pictures of how your service people left my car. Torn up an scrapped.

Volkswagen 3rd service charge for my volkswagen polo (530405)

I bought Volkswagon Plolo on the year 2015 frm Q auto as they are the authorized dealer in Qatar, during the purchase I was promised that the servicing charges will be free for three years. Now when it was time for service they told me that I had to bear all cost.

As mentioned while I bought the car I was told that 3 services were included, which in general for us would take as 3 time services. Also it would not make sense or possible to have 3 services complete with the expiry time given by VW and updated in system from date where we bought the car.

I would consider this as miss selling and unclear information to client if such terms are clearly not mentioned. I even made the complaint to them via email but no action was taken.

Volkswagen customer service @ttdi service centre, malaysia

I called to make an appointment to service my car and was given an appointment for today 10am. When I got there, I was told there's no appointment for my car in their records. And of course they're all booked out today and for the next few days.

The guy that was serving us was apologetic and trying to see what he can do but the lady sitting next to him came over and just said they'd full, implying that it was my fault, I had made a mistake! Does did she even understands the effort it takes for us to bring our car in for a service, hence one wouldn't go to the centre without an appointment! Furthermore, it's not my first time there, so I know the procedures!
Then she had to cheek to tell me to go to other vw service centres to see if they're available. She even mentioned that they only have one diagnostic machine in the centre which is why it takes so long! Unacceptable customer service, very rude lady! Very disappointed.

Volkswagen volkswagen dubai

I brought my car for repairing on 25th of April to Dubai Volkswagen in Rashadiyya.. They checked it and my Volkswagen Tiguan 2012 which cost second hand 50.000 AED. They called me 3 days after I gave the car amd told me that it will cost around 40.000 AED. It was only oil leakage, but they tried to find many different complains regarding my car. The car was operating very well because I was driving while I went to Volkswagen service.. Anyway I told them to fix only oil leakage and don't touch anything else as I will bring my car somewhere different, good mechanic for volkswagen! Then I took my car 1th of May, I came to mechanic and they fixed my car completely with oil and filter change including cost me only 3000 AED.
When I brought my car mechanic shop, they lifted my car up and they found that the volkswagen service even did not fix under the engine which has plastic place. They put it in car trunk and no screws! They lost all the screws...
After they fix the oil leakage, bill presented to me 3200 AED and they made a discount 1900 AED! If they can have possibility for discount why they didn't give the bill they way it is.. 3200 first bill and they came to 1900! I felt it's just a typical cheap market where you can bargain!
I am a volkswagen lover and since 10 years I am using volkswagen. In germany, in Turkey many different places I drive only Volkswagen and it is first time that I want to get rid of my Volkswagen and many of my friends exactly think the same.. In Dubai volkswagen is very bad! Because you don't have a proper place to repair your car! I hope somebody will take serious my complain and do something for it...
Also please kindly find the pictures which I put as proof. The bill which presented as 3000 AED is done by different mechanic which in volkswagen 40.000 AED! It's unbelievable..
Thank you on advance,
Seval Uluyer

Volkswagen my car repair cost @ samaco saudi arabia - riyadh

Dear Customer Care ;

Kindly note that I have had experienced a very bad treatment in SAMACO Riyadh - Saudi Arabia.

This is happened when I approached SAMACO to make my 120, 000 KM Service for my 2011 Tiguan Car and the next day SAMACO called me and asked me to take the car outside the center as they will not be able to service it as they had suspected an issue within the engine.

When I asked for the issue, they told me that it will cost me 20, 000 SAR just to figure out what is wrong with the car .

SAMACO is forcing me to just get red of my car for the extremely expensive cost for figuring out the issue without even repairing it.

Finally I have to highlight that I have been servicing my car all the last 6 years within SAMACO and this was the outcome,

Volkswagen unethical behavior concerning free car washes

I was close to the Elgin VW dealership today. A dealership I had purchased over $150+ of parts from in the past when I bought supplies for my transmission servicing, oil filters, Add Blue (6 containers of), fuel filters, wipers, etc.

I stopped in to get the car was as this is my 3rd VW and I was told because I didnt by the car at that dealership, not do I get the car serviced there, that I was unable to get my car washed there in the further. This is what the service manager informed me as he told me the sales manger told him this.

Now I am on my 3rd VW and own a TDI and do not feel I need to upgrade. I perform all my serving at home. I was also informed when I bought my vehicles that car washes were lifetime supplied at any VW dealer.

I do not feel what I was told today depicts correct customer service or proper educate towards customers. I hope this can be rectified so I may remain being a loyal VW customer and others do not feel harmed. Nobody should be shunned in this manner.

Volkswagen poor service / poor quality

There is a knocking sound heard while shifting from second to third gear and from third to fourth. The knocking sound also heard when driving on ragged roads. I am concerned that there is a loose item in the car that may cause a serious safety risk while driving. I noticed that the knocking sound gets louder during warm weather.

During servicing the car in the Oubour Service Station I informed the engineer several times about the sound, which he heard clearly. His reply was that this is a "characteristic" sound for the car. I do not believe that this knocking sound is a characteristic sound and I doubt that a highly quality German car should be making a knocking sounds while driving.

I would like a regional expert to inspect the car and guarantee that this knocking sound is not a manufacturing defect and that is does not compromise my safety and my family's safety while driving the car.

Model: Passat
Year: 2016
Chassis: 201166
Motor Number: 440665
Purchase Date: Nov 2016

Thank you and appreciate your support in protecting my safety and family's safety.

Isaac

Volkswagen not keeping promises

Horribly upset with the service from vw Claremont. It's over 6 weeks and I am still driving with a car with a engine light on, the day I collected the vehicle the engine light went on as I was driving away. After a lot of issues it became clear that the "master car" that I bought had a custom exhaust and the catalyst converter had been removed so the maintenance plan they sold me is useless as it's not original parts. They agreed to replace the parts however 6 weeks later and still nothing! no spare key and still no refund on my license and registration that I had to pay after they had already charged me for it. Part of the sales agreement was that they will refund me the transport fees for the vehicle and after 4 weeks of fighting and sending mails every 2 nd day they refunded me a ridiculous amount of R1500.in which world will that be the total amount to transport a scirocco from Cape Town to Jhb on a truck? The price that the salesman Jeandre quoted me was R3500 so what happened to the balance of R2000? I have spoken to the managers and sales man so many times and every time they promise it will be sorted by end of the week... 6 weeks later and I'm still very very unhappy, I have not heard a word from them in the last week. They are not keeping their side of the sales agreement and I'm starting to consider canceling the sale! How can you sell a R350 000 car to someone and expect them to drive with an engine light on? What if the engine brakes down? My maintance plan will not even cover it as the car has custom parts even though I specifically bought a master car for supposedly peace of mind. This promise is definitely not being kept! Absolutely horrible service!

Volkswagen polo highline - pathetic repair & terrible. maintenance

I had purchased polo highline from Volkswagen navi mumbai autobahn
The car recently had a small accident due to acidental tree fall on roof and side pillars

I gave my car for repair n repaint notifying my insurance company about the same.

The insurance company did thier job of covering most of the damage. But the VW workshop people have not performed those work that has been already claimed n passed.

On top of that they are giving irrelevant reasons for the delay.

This is really a shameful thing as far as a big brand like VW is considered.

I am really dissappointed by the service n work done.

Volkswagen I took my car to the silver spring dealership and the totally made matters worse.

I took my car in for a simple oil change. They explained some recalls to me and asked if I had time to fix them. I agreed. One was an airbag, and one was a computer sensor. After waiting four hours. They inform me to ride to the shop which is in another parking lot I get there to find my car leaking oil from everywhere. He says o well you need a oil pan 500 dollars plus the oil change 98 dollars, then its o cam shaft and other leaks now we need 2400 dollars. The mechanic then proceeded to tell me my car couldn't leave unless I fixed the oil pan which was not leaking before I brought the car in for service. I told the mechanic to put the same screw back in and just change the oil. He completely disregarded what I said and did what he wanted to do and changed the screw, now my car is leaking and then he tells me oh and by the way you need a turbo. I'm completely dissatisfied with the service and I feel something should be done. Now I'm afraid to take the car back there because I feel the intentionally messed up the car just so they can get more money out of me. The mechanic was very rude and even disrespectful to the guy in the parts department. I would like for someone to contact me and possibly rectify this situation. Now I have to take the car somewhere else and get it fixed. I feel the dealer is responsible for the issues that weren't in existence prior to bringing my car for service. Volkswagen wrong quote given for car service & shuttle service delays

1. Wrong quote given:

I personally went to VW to book my car in for service, on the 28th of January 2018, when I asked how much it would cost me and an estimate of between ZAR2800 and ZAR3500 was given to me verbally. The soonest available date was today (6th of February 2018) and to my shock, the service is now going to cost me about ZAR 4300. This, to me, is being ripped off and taken advantage of. If the estimate was at least about two, maybe three hundred rands out, I would understand; but around a thousand rands out, is unacceptable.

2. Shuttle service delay:

Just to add fuel to the fire, I was already upset about the cost of my service and then I am made to wait for the shuttle service which I asked for on the 28th. I arrived at approximately 08:10am and when another driver was finally organized for us, we left the premises at approximately 09:20am.

Because I'm a gentleman, I don't normally cause scenes but I find a more civilized way of sorting things out. Unfortunately because of my trust for them, all I have now is my word against theirs, especially with regard to the
initial quote (which was verbal).

I do not want these people to get away with this, if there is something that can be done.
What will satisfy me, will be a refund on the quote difference and a formal written apology for my day, which they ruined.

Volkswagen 2018 volkswagen atlas

I'm fairly new to the Volkswagen family. My husband bought me an 2018 Atlas in October 2017. Very nice vehicle. I love it. My issue is the loud noise when I put the windows down. My ears have popped due to the loud noise once I put the windows. My children have complained about ear pain after every ride in the Atlas. What can be done to fix this problem?

Volkswagen 2016 passat

We have purchased a 2016 Past after returning our 2010 Jetty due to the emissions issue. We were a bit apprehensive but decided to give VW another chance. Unfortunately we are having issues with this newer car. The car has been to the dealership twice due to the oil light coming on. Checking the oil found it was down less then a 1/4 of a quart. The dealership advised nothing was found as far as leaks and nothing on the pressure test. The vehicle has twice since had the same issue only this time was 1 1/2 courts down. This time the vehicle has been driven less then 50 miles and sits in our driveway. The oil level is checked regularly by myself.
The vehicle is still under warranty and I am concerned that we are not being told the correct diagnosis.
Research has found that other Pasts are showing the same behavior (using oil). We are beginning to feel we have made a mistake to give VW another chance.
We would like an explanation and resolution to this issue before our warrant expires.

Volkswagen service/court/complain nicholasbellefroid/life in danger/

Dealership located in Delray Beach, FL. Address: 2401 N Federal Hwy, Delray Beach, FL 33483. Phone # [protected]. My car was towed to this location on January 1st, 2018 late evening. But everything what's in my complain is for January 2, 2018. The dealership charged money through my car warranty company. They charged $1, 052.19. I also have 0"zero" $ deductible, however they also charged me $34.50 without explaining me for what, refused, also failed to notify me in advance about any copayment that possible may occur. That's illegal. Failed to call me 2-3 hours in advance as I asked them to do motivating that I live 50 miles away from the dealership. At one moment this person in charge came accross and start arguing, he refused to present himself but I got his bisness card from a police officer. Here what heppend. Nicholas Bellefroid when didn't like my questions in regards to what service has been done to my vehicle and explanation on the services the dealership had provided he got angry and being very RASISTIC told me that he doesn't want any RUSSIANS here in the dealership and to get out! without even taking my car! He also called me a jerk for no reason. After I been descriminanted, refused to be given my car back and cursed with bad words from this jentlemen Nicholas Bellefroid I decided to call the police right the way, I got an event number from police officer for this matter. At the moment I have two problems with Volkswagen company. 1 (first) : I was descriminated and cursed with bad words by your company worker. Mistreated. Unproperly and unprofesional served. But for the civil matter is important the first 2 (descriminated and cursed with bad words) Also, not receiving my property (car) within the normal procedures. internal measurements should be taken. 2 (second) What is even more worse is that this dealership charged my car warranty company over $1, 000.00 dollars and they failed to fix the car! My car suddenly stoped within first 2-10 miles from dealership in the middle of highway I-95S, driving towards my home, my life was in danger, tons of cars almost crashed me behind driving about 60-80 miles an hour passing my car when I was pushing the car to the side. Was in the middle line of the interstate. I was lucky that I was able to avoid any accident that was going almost to occur, only because i'm very skilled driver, knowingly my previous experience and knowledge and luck I was able to avoid any life threatening situation to me and drivers around me and all that after this dealership performed a Multi Point Inspection additional to everything else what they said that they fixed. Is this situation was made purposly? Or just coinsidence? Or not good tehnicians? I think N. bellefroid is against people like me and he wanted to expose me to danger purpusly. I don't think that this should be a normal "went to a volkswagen service dealership" currently my car is towed to a different shop.

Volkswagen help needed.

To whom it may concern :

The number of people currently saying they will never, ever buy a Volkswagen car in light of my son's current experience grows by the minute. Thought you might like to know.

My son lives in San Francisco. We live in rural Wisconsin, formerly from Madison. His partner's family is in Chicago. This year he and his partner, along with their dog, decided to drive home for Christmas to visit friends along the way and see the Grand Canyon. He has a leased VW still under warranty, 2 years old (?). When they were in Nebraska, only 12 hours from Chicago, the car died. This was on 12/21 (?). Because the car is still under warranty, the service he contacted would only tow it backwards to Denver to be seen at a VW dealer. They said they would pick it up the next morning, so they spent the night at their own expense, and the towing truck did not arrive until the end of a very long day waiting. They got a rental car at their own expense and continued their journey, arriving later than had been planned. And the Dodge Charger they were given did not prove to be a good choice for snowy conditions, fish tailing often. Our Christmas came and went. When he finally heard from the dealer after Christmas, their first thought was he had run out of gas or had gotten some bad gas. A brilliant young man with a master's degree ran out of gas!? Right. Later, they told him none of that checked out and they needed a part that would take days to get, but the car would be ready on Friday. Our week long visit was cut short so they could pick up the car. When they arrived at the dealer and got in their car, the check engine light was on. While attempting to leave the parking lot of the dealer, the car died again just like it had originally. They have now been told the car will not be fixed until Wednesday next week. They are in Denver, supposed to be back at work in San Francisco on Tuesday. Returned their rental car they had to pay for. Now have a loaner from the dealer. Have to stay somewhere Friday to Wednesday at their own expense. This is a nightmare. And will the car even be fixed? They do not feel confident about that. Their fear is it will die again while driving from Denver back to San Francisco.

The service they have experienced so far is terrible. And the car's performance has given everyone a reason to question its reliability. I am hoping you might be able to offer some help for him. Would it be possible to negate the lease on the car and provide him with a replacement car? If it is not an easy diagnosis that cannot be easily remedied, that is problematic. And it would seem the cost of renting a car and having to stay overnight because of this should be refunded to him. Hopefully you will offer some help.

Thank you,
Linda Pelsoh

Volkswagen service

Dear sir,
I am living in istanbul/turkey. I have had a golf car on dec.2012. It is a golf 1.6 tdi dsg 115 ps highline bluemotion model. I regularly took care at the authorized service station which is subordinated to dogus oto turkey.
On dec. 19th 2017 I took my car for 12000 km severe care to the same authorized vw service station which has the name; uzay oto service (http://www.uzayoto.com.tr). I have informed about the regular care, and next day the service station represant has called me to inform that after check of the car the battery has got to be replaced by a new battery too. I gave my approval for this procedure. I payed for the car care and other procedures. They delivered my car to my adress which is at a close area to the station on the 3rd day of my delivery. (On dec. 21st)
Beyond the irresponsibly behaviour of service station personnel, didnt care about my cars late delivery, I noticed that there was a problem at my cars radio lcd screen. There were shining dots on the corners of the screen which means loss of pixels. Another problem is loss of pixels on the back stop light (On the back top of the car).
I immediately called the service stations phone and made a talk with security because of the service personnels shift has end. The security gave me a phone number which belongs to service stations emergency chief. I made a talk with him and told the problem and sent him the photos which I can send you if you want me to, he said he would take care of it with the chief next day.
The next day was dec 22nd and I called the chief of the service station on the phone. But untill 10.30 am I could ever reached him or called by him or anyone. When he called me he told me that there couldnt be any problems which can be responsible of the loss of pixels but he said he would check the photographs and make a video record to send dogus oto technics. And added he would act by what dogus oto responsived in a cool behaviour.
I called dogus oto dialouge center to put into words of my complaint. The call center represant recorded my complaint and informed me that dogus oto (The corporation which has hallucinations of being superior to vw) would be making an evaluation about the situation in a cool behaviour unsurprisingly.
On 25th dec a dogus oto employee called me on the phone, her name was ozlem, introduced herself as vw golf brand represantative of the area. She told me that they are making conversations and evaluations but there are no care procedure that can be responsible of this unexpected breakdown directly. And she never accepted when I pointed out the battery replacement procedures can be a secondary cause of that kinds trouble, eventhough she has no knowledge and not authorized about the car technics. I asked her when would this evaluation be completed and when would I be informed about the problem, she couldnt give a proper answer.
Today on 26th dec I have informed by her, ms ozlem, she said that there were no problem about the car service technics and the procedures were standart and nothing has responsible of that breakdown. I asked her why my car has delivered me with that trouble, the car delivered with 2 problems which were not there before, so they had to take responsibilities about the problem. She also added that the service station could fix this problem by payment if I wanted to. And not surprisingly in a rude and cool behaviour.
Dear sir, I ask for your help please, dogus oto workers are so rude, they dont solve the problem, they are in a rude behaviour and the quality of the workers from the top to the end affects vw s customer satisfactions.
I am a doctor and I have a career and good life standarts and ı know how to talk to people, but the behaviour which I have been exposed to was a shame for me. I have never been insulted like that in my life before.
I and my family dont think to have another vw and sell our cars out if this shame will keep on with dogus oto.
Every people in turkey thinks that dogus oto is equal to vw or dogus oto is the owner or by a little bit exaggeration the lord of the vw. I wanted to point that too.
I hope you can help me about my complaints.
Thank you

Volkswagen amarok 2015 radiator warranty

I was stuck in the Drakensburg Mountains area 1 am with my wife and kids because the radiator just started leaking with no dent or external damage whatsoever . I just purchased this used vehicle about 4 weeks back in haven't even paid the first installment.
Since I was in an unsafe area and I could see the leak point on the radiator, a passers-by helped me with a stop-leak which worked at the same time. I managed to get my family to safety and drove back home to Rustenburg with no alarm or problems from the vehicle.
The same morning I proceeded to VW rustenburg where I bought the vehicle for assistance and I was informed they can't fix it because I put in a stop leak.
This has left me wondering if I made the right choice of service providers since I will have to pay R600 000 at the end of this deal.
At the moment I am sitting with a vehicle in can not drive because the leak has started again and gives warning of coolant temperature. And holiday is approaching with my family angry of their broken vacation.
My Vehicle registrationJHZ 167 NW. is on 92 000KM. and was serviced on Thursday 14/12/2017 at VW rustenburg SA.
Please assist i don't know whether to reverse the deal and opt for other brands or get assisted and carry on since I love this vehicle so dearly.

Volkswagen vento highline / engine failure

Dear sir, My VW Vento ( had a sudden engine failure while I was driving in a highway risking to my life and my family. Now car is with local service center. I am told it's due to weakened head compressor because of impure fuel. I am also told I have to bear the expenditure, where as my car is only 5month old (10000km). Last month only, at 8000km I did servicing.
I believe it's a serious manufacturing defect, where company should act pro actively rather than imposing on customer. I want proper solution.
Regards
Dr Utpal sarma
