Most americans are probably becoming aware that voicebootcamp is a scam but some do not kow yet. If you live in East asia, then you might not have as many options but people in the states or Europe, stay away from voicebootcamp.com

This is what you can expect. They claim to offer unlimited retakes till you pass but this is a scam. I have tried 5 times now to retake a class and every time they (voicebootcamp) come up with an excuse. They will post dates on their site but at the very last minute they will call you and claim the class is cancelled. The last time I called about a class I was
supposed to be enrolled in they told me that it was cancelled yet I couldnt speak to the instructor. Seems like the class was in progress but I wasnt allowed to resit - hmm. Very fishey. I spoke with one of their ex employees, a sales manager who actually sold me the package and she told me that Faisal basically sits at home and when a company calls that has 5 people, he will travel to where ever they are located and teach the class.

The dates and locations on his web site are almost never true as he will cancel it unless he has a full class and that he will do everything in his power to offer an excuse and prevent someone from retaking a class. It is not in his interest to offer retakes. But he will advertise this as it makes a good selling point, but he has no plans to honor this.

Again, I have tried 5 separate times to retake the class and it was all in vain. This was over 1 year I tried. I had 2 other students in my class that requested a full refund as they were not satisfied with the quality.

We could not get the remote sessions working correctly and his updates were not complete. In his video lectures he will be on a topic and then when he cant get the lab to work he will just end the video. Voicebootcamp is not profesional at all.

I have tried calling Faisal on his cell phone, work phone and his manager (this person changes every few months- high turnover) and via email but no one will return my messages. Voicebootcamp has no desire to assist the students and their policy is: you can get a 100 percent refund after the first day only. After that, you get nothing.

I would suggest going to any other school than voicebootcamp. try ipexpert, ccbootcamp, globalknowledge, HBFITES, anybody else.

Good luck on your studies and just be warned that voicebootcamp is a really bad company and I have many complaints about this company. I wish I had done more research into this company before spending 4500 USD.

Voicebootcamp is a waste of money.

Voicebootcamp is the best Voice institute in Canada and Faisal is not only a great trainer he is an excellent human being but I do know that there is not enough workforce. So, that might cause issues from time to time which is negligible.

It seems you were not in luck my friend. Sorry about whatever happened to your money.

Calling does not help all the time as I agree with Shiraj that there is not enough workforce but the company has expanded now and there is a couple of people who are very responsive. SO you might try emailing them. Yes, Faisal is a man of great reputation and he is known all over the world for being one of the first 10 CCIE in Voice. SO respect that and do not try to damage this mans reputation by posting such negative comments. I totally disagree with you because I have been a student and a customer myself. My experience with them was excellent.

yes Palung, thanks for your opinion. I think this man is mad at Voicebootcamp for some reason. I actually know a few people who try to cyberterrorise people businesses like that but who cares. visit the vb website and read the testimonials people have sent. Even CCBootcamp and Ipexpert does not have such a strong clientele.
Whether this guy likes it or not I will always be loyal to VB because I wont forget the favor Faisal did to me. I didnt even have money to stay at a hotel and Faisal gave me a space in his house to stay while I was doing my CCVP. he is a great man. God bless him.

I also feel that the creator of this complaint is a coward. no guts to use a profile name instead of using some one elses. Its people like this guy who give bad name to others. I cant believe a person with such a cheap mentality can be a voice engineer.

Palung and Shiraj. I guess you either work for voicebootcamp or you are his buddies. Faisal is not the best teacher out there. He could be ok but he is now intent on ripping people off. If he would deliver what he promises then there would be no problems. However, as I have seen many negative posts about his company, I have to agree with what is posted here. I have had a bad experience and was not able to resit any of his classes. I have sent many emails requesting a resit but I dont get a callback or anything.

Looks like some of you may think he was a good teacher but I do not. There are many Better schools out there.
Dont waste your money at voicebootcamp. Go somewhere else.

As for Palung and Shiraj. You are free to post how great a company voicebootcamp is. But I have had only bad experiences there and I wish I never went to voicebootcamp. If I could get my money back I would but they only have a 1 day money back offer. This is rediculous. They advertise unlimited retakes but they never grant that.
You can only get 1 class with books that are not complete.
So for 5000 USD you get 1 class and 1 incomplete book. Hmm, from now on I will go to ipexpert or ccbootcamp or someplace. I am looking into those options right now.

Voiceboocamp is crap. Dont waste your time or money.

Just bought the voicebootcamp UC resource kit and went through the CME 7.0 labs...First, I thought that he is struggling with the explanation but then realized that he does not actually know what is he talking about. I can actually prove him wrong with some of his explanation. I have just over a year of experience with CME and I am quite confident with it. The main reason of buying the UC resource kit is for CM 7.0. I will go through those and will see if he really knows what he is talking about or not. I will definitely not waste my time or more money with him.

I am so grateful I came across this post. Thanks for informing others of your experience.
This company looks dodgy but now I have more info to make the right decision.

It is so obvious that the posters above are in cahoots with voicebootcamp. People who pull these con jobs should be reported to the police.

Thanks again.

I attended voicebootcamp CCVP-CCIE course in Dubai recently. It was a wonderful experience and now I feel more confident in getting through my CCIE Lab exam. Faisal has prepared a top class material for the CCIE exam, if you sincerely go through it, you will certainly pass your CCIE exam. I live in Australia and I had not known Faisal before I attended his class. These classes are not for those who expect spoon feeding.

well, i paid for my CCVP voicebootcamp online and i attended it in Dubai...i initially scheduled my training for India but after so much assists from Voicebootcamp to obtain my visa which was not forthcoming, i was enrolled for the Dubai bootcamp. the bootcamp was so absolute practical (hands-on) and study materials were given out. after my bootcamp, voicebootcamp still renders online support to me for free. i think you guys need to sort this out through the right channel. If i'm to go for my CCIE voice bootcamp, it will definitely be VOICEBOOTCAMP with Faisal

I cannot agree with it.Faisal is a great human being and teach his class in a good way .I attend his class in dubai in 2010 dec.
He clearly explains the call flow, and we never feel bored in his class. If some student didn't get the room for staying he allow
him to stay with him and no need to worry about the hotel.

“I have been looking to train my staff for Cisco Voice product line. I have been looking for an training institute for a long time. I checked and crosschecked all that I can multiple times. Duering this course, I came across Faisal Khan & his VoiceBootCamp Inc. I was very apprehensive at first. Then faisal called me. Thats it! Everything changed thereafter. I have to admit, that I had seen some negative feedback on the net, but something in my head told me to go ahead. I am glad that I listened to myself rather than depend on a couple of reviews.

Even my team members were not confident in the beginning. But I pushed them to go ahead. You should have seen their faces when they came back :). they were smiling ear-to-ear. they said, that its been "the BESTESTEST training EVER..."

Now my team members want to go back to Voicebootcamp Inc for further courses.

I am happy to choose Faisal and Voicebootcamp and will go back to him again and this time without apprehension.” September 20, 2011

Top qualities: Expert, Good Value, High Integrity

1stSandeep S, PMP,

“Faisal Khan of Voice BootCamp conducted CCNP Voice course that I found quite valuable. He exhibited a vast array of expertise and excellent presentation skills. Faisal welcomed /invited questions when students didn’t grasp an intricate concept. He was passionate about making sure his students had a thorough understanding of the material: and literally down with students to troubleshoot their configuration issues. The Voice BootCamp CCNP Voice Study Guide DVDs troubleshooting and labs were sent out approximately 30 days prior to the actual12 day class. This approach allowed the students to hit the ground running. I observed a couple of CCIE Voice candidates took advantage of the class for the mere fact it encompassed CCNA Voice level, CCNP Voice as well as introduction to some CCIE Voice concepts. This was a natural transition to the Voice BootCamp’s CCIE Voice Class, CCIE Mock Lab class and subsequent CCIE 8 hour lab” May 3, 2011

I haven't seen his recent videos but the ones I have got from the uc resource kit. I am not going to pay for anything from voicebootcamp. When I contacted them to say that their videos were incomplete (Faisal will stop the video when he can't figure out the issue, and that is he is recording the videos...how is he going to do the live training) and some of the explanation was actually wrong they offered me some free stuff to keep me quiet. Thats how professional he is. Sorry to say but if someone has done CCIE does not mean that they are good in teaching as well. There are a lot of people who have done degrees but does not mean that they can teach the same course.

I purchased a combined virtual software videos and training package online from a company called Voice Bootcamp inc for $699 in November 2015. When I asked for when the package would be available and was told that the videos are not ready hence I will be informed once they are ready. The reason I bought this resource was for its relevance to my job, so was in desperate need of it. The seller should have been honest from the start and admitted that it would take time so I could have made my decision whether or not to purchase it.

I waited a few weeks and approached the seller again, I was again told that they are not entirely ready, again I explained that I need the resource urgently I was given access to some of the materials and told that I should study those until the package was completely ready.

At one point I got a little annoyed and asked for a refund of my money, the seller then offered to let me complete a training course which by the way was part of the package I had paid for, so nothing extra. I agreed that whilst the videos are prepared I can continue the training and not waste any further time.

The last time I accessed the resource material was approximately two months ago, this was the same time I last had contact from the seller. I discussed how long the videos would take and got a very rude and abrupt response. The seller said that he offered me the training and as a result I should not ask him about the videos and when they will be released. I was gobsmacked that I do not have the right to ask about an item I have paid $699 for. I further demanded a refund as almost six months later there was no sign of anything. The seller refused to give me the refund so I said I would pursue a refund via Paypal, The seller went on to threaten me by saying if I attempt this then he would send me an excessive invoice and if I do not pay him further then he would hire a debt management firm in the UK and recover his costs from me.

I am absolutely appalled, not to mention shocked at the sellers behavior and unprofessionalism towards clients. He has deceived, abused and threatened me. Not to mentioned blocked my access to the materials that I did actually have log in credentials for. I am of the hope that this will be looked in to as all I want is my money refunded. Obviously the seller cannot compensate for the time I have wasted and distress he caused me.
