Vodacom processed upgrades on my account that I did not authorise.

I did not receive monthly statements or invoices and therefore had no knowledge of these changes until significantly later. When I reported the matter, Vodacom assured me that the fraudulent upgrades would be cancelled and that all charges incurred from the activation dates—without my consent—would be refunded or credited. However, no refund or credit has been processed to date.
Despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter between 02 November 2025 and 05 December 2025, including numerous emails and calls, Vodacom has not provided a resolution. Although I was informed that the fraudulent upgrades were reversed, the contract periods that were extended as a direct result of those upgrades have not been corrected. Vodacom has further stated that I will be penalised for early cancellation, which is unacceptable given that the extended contract terms stem entirely from unauthorised activity.
Given the financial implications, the stress caused, and Vodacom’s failure to act, I request your guidance on the appropriate legal steps to take. I wish to pursue the correction of the contract terms, cancellation without penalty, and recovery of all amounts charged due to these unauthorised upgrades.
Claimed loss: a lot of money that was over charged on my account since the fraudulent upgrades were affected. I am not sure when did these upgrades start because I was not receiving invoices
Desired outcome: The correction of the contract terms, cancellation without penalty, and recovery of all amounts charged due to these unauthorised upgrades.
