Signed up for free trail. Had to pay 3.75 for P&P. Then billed 4 times for aprox 75GBP in under 30 days because of hidden self perpetuating contract. Money to LabsSupport.com and Viv3.
Returned goods within 30 days for refund (as per contract, ) and still no refund.

The registered slip was signed by a G.Hull.

Can't get anywhere by phoning to co. -it's a call centre.

Visa can't do anything about refunding and I just don't know about future debits to my card. I'm going to cancel my card.

The debits are going to Cyprus, appearently.

The Office of Fair Trading seem unaware of any criminal activity so far.
There are french and American compliants sights -
Je me suis fait avoir par Viv3 et d'autres - [ Translate this page ]

Has anyone ever been refunded out there?

What a con!

Buyer beware (caveat emptor). Its all in the "Terms and Conditions".
The only way to stop monthly billings is to cancel your credit card and get a new one (different number).
Both Visa and MBNA say that the new number cannot be charged.
Payment by PayPal (if available) is ok because it can only be charged once.
Who knows what is in it. You can buy Acai at the pharmacy (non-prescription) at a fraction of the price.
Have a nice day!

Hi, I'm Louise from Australia.I got scammed by those fraudulent people too. They have taken over $400 out of my bank account during the last month and only sent me 1 new supply of Acai Berry pills which I received today.I definitely won't be taking any more of them now.I called my bank earlier and they are lodging a dispute and I sent an email to VIV3 Ltd to tell them to stop debiting my bank account and sending me more pills. Those people need to be stopped.I may not get back any of the money that I have lost, but I hate to see anyone else go through this.It makes me think twice about ordering anything else online now.

So grateful for everyone writing on here, i know its no consolation but it seems as though word is getting round about the SCAM.

I got screwed too! I'm from Canada and I handed up paying about 260.00$ cdn. on my VISA and I've tried to block the future payment. I guess I call to late because they have already took another payment of about 260.00$. You will have to send an email to cancel future shipments and keep a copy of that email. If you receive a shipment, send it back for your refund and make sure you have a proof that it was sent back! The best way to be certain that this nightmare will end is to change your credit card and apparently, the credit companies have been dealing whit them all fall so you can find someone understanding there!

Hi all,

I can sympathize with all the complaints here. My company (I won't name it so people don't think it's a plug) is Australian owned and manufactures / sells a resveratrol product. We don't offer free samples or anything like that and we DON'T have a monthly automatic billing. I've been contacted by several customers asking if we can help them to get these scammers. Unfortunately we can't do very much. Also, this affects us by association as people start to think our company is somehow involved. We are not.

We'd like to rid the internet of these types as much as any of you out there that have been scammed. Just remember, not all the companies out there are trying to scam people. We are honest and offer quality products. The best advice I can offer is always read the fine print.

Good luck all.

I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE.THEY SAID ON ADVERTISEMENT THAT I WILL PAY FOR THE POSTAGE ONLY AND GET TO TRY THEIR VITAMIN PILLS FOR FREE AND WILL WORK OUT ABOUT $30 BUT THEY TOOK OUT $136 X5 =$680
THEY HAVE STOLEN $680 SO FAR AND IF I DONT DO ANYTHING NOW, THEY WILL TAKE OUT ANOTHER $136 IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. ALREADY RANG THE BANK AND THEY SAID THEY WILL SEND A DISPUTE.
I WISH I WAS POPEY THE SAILOR MAN AND TAKE DOWN VIV3 LTD WITH A BULLDOZER.
THEY ARE LIARS AND SCAMMERS AND I AM NOT GOING TO SWOLLOW ANYMORE OF THEIR PILLS BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU WILL DIE FROM IT. I HAVE ONLY SWOLLOWED A FEW SINCE 5 MOTHS AGO.
HOW CAN YOU TRUST GREEDY LIEING PIGS.
I ASKED MY HUSBAND THAT I WANT TO RING VIV3 LTD SO I CAN YELL AND SCREAM AT THEM BUT MY HUSBAND SAID HE WILL DO THE PHONE CALL.OMG WHAT GREEDY PIGS AND LIES.EVERYBODY THROW OUT THOSE PILLS OR YOU WILL DIE AND HAVE A STROKE BECAUSE IF THEY ARE THIEVES, THEY CAN POSSIBLY BE KILLERS.
I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE DEAD BY THESE UNFAITHFUL PILLS.STAY AWAY FROM THESE PILLS.
YOU WILL DIE...DONT TOUCH THEM...

I had a gut feeling that this would happen so after ordering my 'free trial', i called my bank and told them the situation and they advised that I cancel the card (at no cost to me) and that would prevent any debits going through. Anything outside Australia I believe is a total scam - even the fine print is a scam! The world is mad and we are only safe here! Dont buy this product online, go to Mr Vitamins or a health food shop - its not worth all this drama. Mary

Hi people,
I really want to write and let you know that there are far worse consequences than just getting ripped off. My Mum ( aged 63) found this website whilst googling thyroid problems. She went for the "free trial" of both the Acai Berry and the Colon Cleanse. She got really sick after taking the products. She started to suffer cronic dysentry and went to her doctor. She was so dehydrated her doc referred her to the local emergency room. I was suspicious of the new products she was taking so I took some of the capsules to the hospital. They ran some tests on them and they were really high in laxitives! 3 days after she was released from hospital she got whacked for $270 Australian dollars for another 30 days supply which have never turned up. She immediately cancelled her debit card, and notified the police. They referred her to a police department that specializes in internet scams...and they said there are several THOUSAND complaints against This/these companies. It is in the authorities hands now but PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THESE PRODUCTS! Also...when I rang and asked to speak to someone in charge to vent my anger - they said there was no-one I could speak to and were unsympathetic and told me my mother was fat and that is why she got sick! The smarmy miss on the phone said every time I called they actually made money from it so be her guest to keep calling! I am going to start a Facebook page ( if possible) warning of this product. Keep an eye out for it and join!

I just canceled my Visa card because of this scam. My bank's fraud department is working on it. They said if they find that the contract is "hidden" or in any way not aboveboard they will simply take my money back from these clowns.

Spoke to the Abbey National Bank UK on Friday 13th - they werent too bothered, said it was my fault. Spoke to them today 17th November - discoverde an internal fax has gone around to query all transactions from this company - this is after I spent the weekend bombarding banks and blogs - hopefully the banks will save others from becoming victims. I wax taken seriously today and the bank has issued a fraud investigation and with luck I may get my money refunded - or at least the related overdraft charges cancelled.

A very good tech friend of mine is slowly worminghis way through the network of domain sites this company holds - we are putting in compalints and hopefully the domain sites will stop hosting them, if of course they are not owned by these two guys. By the way the head office in spain comes under european law and as a result this can be considered fraud - not like in America.

They run a billing company - doing international marketing - so all us victims need to get together and give them some grief. We may not get our money back but putting a big dent in the side of the nice cars they drive would be great.

ACAI BERRY & LIFE CLEANSER I WAS SCAMMED TO. I clicked on the add on FACEBOOK! Thinking it was on Facebook it would be ok. So reading the page not believing that you can get these tablets for free. So i thoroughly checked the website. Thinking it was ALL LEGIT I ORDERED. Then an extra payment came out on my aunties card that i used. OMG they charged her $177NZD. Now she has to put in a claims report and i am so ashamed i never researched to see if there was any scams.

I normally always do that. To eager to loose my weight i guess.

Lets put this all over the internet.

I phoned the Uk number and got references for the cancelled 'contract', they have told me they are not taking anymore money out of my accoount. Abbey National Bank said they can do nothing to help get my money back because I ticked agree to terms and conditions and did not go back before 15 days to cancel my order. You would think for £180 I would have received some more of the product. I only knew there was a problem when my UK bank account became overdrawn and I ended up with overdraft charges.

The only way to stop the charges is to close your bank account, changing cards does not do it, the bank have to honour the payment.

Luckily for me the bank had sent a letter stating concerns over some of my transactions. Lets see if they steal from me in November?

Unfortunatley we have been cheated becaise it seemed such a good offer and I would like to know who the lady is in the picture showing the wonderful weight loss - does she know how she is cheating people.

It is going to take a lot to stop these people and as they are American I dont hold out mcuh hope of the scam stopping.

FOOL - IDIOT - Yep thats me too - just been scammed by this horrendous company with unscrumpulous people running it and STEALING monies from accounts for ABSOULTULEY NOTHING! Two FREE trials of tablets that no doubt cost pennies to produce but I have paid an absolute fortune for!

I too cancelled my card and feel totally embarrassed by this as I am not that vain or even that stupid (really) but this time I have to hold my hands up !

Surely there is a LAW against such advertising and such cons! Is anyone able to help get these monies back - people who normally steal such amounts of money are imprisoned - WHY NOT THESE PEOPLE!

I just called the number and the lady said its in the terms and conditions. I also threatnened I will send this all to watchdog. They said they will send me a refund request within 3 days and if I dont get anything in 3days I will have to call back. I said that this is stupid and its not a direct debit so before they take money out of my account they should at least email me an invoice or inform me that money is being taken out of my account. God this bas###'s!

OMG what an idiot I am... never before would I do something so stupid as to order something like this over the internet, god only knows why I did, but hey ho.
After some digging I got a no through a company called Local Billing run by Douglas Clay, the guy causing us all our misery and money loss (150 uk pounds) and they in turn gave me these two numbers +[protected] and +[protected] I did get through and talk to a guy who explained that I could have cancelled within 15 days... I live in NZ it took over 15 days for them to arrive! He did cancel any further orders but we will see. Now my bank, First Direct has those numbers, should any more money be taken I will be refunded. I am still working on getting back the 150 pounds thou.

what a lesson hey, how they sleep at night... and it seems the products Acai Berry and Life Cleanse are no nore than caffeine and a Laxative!

I´m from Denmark and I got scammed today as well... :/ I´ve talked to them on customer service 3 times today - and just send them this e-mail - to the emailadress I found in here: support@viv3.com

Here´s the mail - and my story. Hope someone get there money back - including me!

Hello!
Today I got scammed by you - I ordered 3 free samples of you fake dietpills, payed for the shipping and today like millions of other people I got charged 1734 dkr, because I did´nt call you within 15 days - and which I actually did!

I called your customer service +[protected] AGAIN today - The first two times they disconnected me, once I´d told my story.

The third time I spoke to a man called: Julian Cantona - who was laughing at me and saying - before I even got a chance to tell my story, that the company NEVER made any mistakes, and that there was NO refund whatsoever. He told me, that if I had cancelled anything I had to have a cancellation number, which I did´nt get. Then he asked me who I spoke to, but I did´nt get a name eather. I wanted an e-mail adress so that I could get your answer in writing - for my lawyer, but that I could´nt get - just as I colud not talt to any boss. I wanted to make sure, that I would NEVER hear from you again, and that I had cacelled EVERYTHING with your company before I hung up, which he confirmed. When he was about to hang up - I asked him, if he did´nt forgot to give me the cancellation number - and then he laughed and said: NOW you´re learning!

There is nowhere in yout terms and conditions, that you have to have a cancellation number to make sure you cancelled any order - which is youre mistake! And I did cancel this order - and any further. I only have one reciept from you - but I got 3 samples. So I have a question? Do I have 3 customer numbers too? And if I do - make sure to shut it all down - I do NOT want anything from you EVER again. Of course I shutted down my bank account immediatly I found you about your scam - so you can no longer use my credit card number!

I must tell you, that of course I contacted the medias and police in Denmark. If you pay back my money within 5 days I will stop this -and if not - you will hear from them.

Can't believe I've been scammed big time. I signed up for the free trial and e-mailed them to cancel within the 15 day period. Well that didn't work and I've been billed twice for a total of £165.90. Contacted trading planet Ltd Ordman House 31 Arden Close Bradley Stoke Bristol BS32 8AX. I spoke to a women who told me they have no record of the contract being cancelled - funny that huh! She gave me a cancellation number and sent me an e-mail so that I can show it to the credit card company should anymore payments be taken from my account, although she assured me that no more payments would be taken. So imagine my surprise when I received another pot of acai berries today from VIV3. I'm going to cancel my credit card as I think once they have your details they'll just keep taking payments regardless of whether you contact them of not.
Something has to be done about this these people are making a lot of money from our misery and the acai berries are extract a very weak blend compared to the ones that are full strength and cost a fraction of the price.

My god i carnt believe how many of us have been done we are now £300 over drawn with the bank charges, we bank with Halifax and have bascially said we should never have used our debt card, and have to pay the money back as we authorised the first payment, and that entitled VIV3 to take more payments. Anyone else bank with Halifax ? Any idea where we can go from here ? and now we have alerted our bank will they let any more payments go out ?

I have been scammed by this company...signed up for the free trial and they have taken over £200 so far out of my account. My bank now says that they cannot refund me the money within a 30 day period. So i will not be hoding my breath in getting this moeny back. I am normally so careful when it comes to stuff like this! How wrong could i have been!
I am going to speak to the bank and cancel my card. I think we'd all agree that no one can afford to be paying £75.00 each time they debit your account and worst of all not actually receive anything for it!

These people are ridiculous but they'll get their money from somewhere and try everything to get it! I'll never be doing something like this again, learnt my lesson big time

I have been "ripped off" by these people today (9th Oct 2009) i contacted them because it clearly states in the customer services part of the acaiberryexclusive.com website that you can receive a refund of one of the items within 30 days of your order!...They said it was nothing to do with the initial "free trial" and it only applied to any further items received, which is ridiculous...i have pasted the link - if anyone has missed it...

http://www.acaiberryexclusive.com/support/

Make sure you click on refund policy...

I have been charged twice for £76.81 and absolutely no-where was there information about having to pay in full for the products on the 16th day!

I am not impressed at all but what i will 100% recommend is for you to contact your bank and get your card changed like i have done!

I hope this helps anyone else in the same position...

Well here I was thinking that this was a good thing! Was excited at the fact that I was supposed to have recieved a 15 day trial for P&H costs only, then in the mail arrived a 30 day supply. Thought I had lucked in on a "freebie" just as well I paid with a pre paid visa which only has $2 left on it so good luck to them trying to get more money out of me lol! Now can anyone tell me has the product actually worked for anyone? Or is the weight loss occured through the stress you recieve from this scam?

Good luck to all that paid with real visa's and not pre paid ones I hope you are not occuring more payments!

I hope the poeple that are running this scam find Karma in a big way!

Yes I've been scammed on a 'free trial'. My bank provided the following to me; the company was Vitality Clean and the 'phone number is [protected]. I spoke first to someone in Cyprus and the when I read the scam details of Kathy Winters at www.kathysacaiberrywarning.com I rang them back to cancel and spoke to EMMA in Scotland? I'm going to the bank to cancel cards, then:

contacting Trading Standards in Southampton;
contacting my MP & MEP and then I'm going to write to the MD at the address on the bottle VIV3 Ltd, Unit5, Mill Rd Industrial Estate, Linlithgow, West Lothian. EH39 7QY asking for my money back. Lastly I'm going to get my Union's Legal Dept to take this up as well.
