Disappointing Experience with VFS Global: Lack of Communication and Customer Service
My experience with VFS Global (vfsglobal.com) was one of frustration and disappointment. Despite submitting my passport and visa application for Russia on June 12, I received no response to my numerous attempts to contact them, whether by email or phone calls. As my departure date loomed closer and closer, I grew increasingly worried and anxious about the status of my visa.
Finally, on July 15, with no resolution in sight, I had no choice but to report my passport lost and obtain a new one through an expedited service. Miraculously, my Russian visa was delivered on the morning of my departure, allowing me to make my trip, but the stress and hassle of it all left a sour taste in my mouth.
To add insult to injury, VFS Global later sent my old passport and Russian visa to me on July 19 - a mere six days after I had already left the country. Their customer service left much to be desired, and a representative at ***@vfsglobal.com offered to make things right. When I requested a refund of my $320 money order, they requested that I send a copy of it so they could verify who had signed for it. I complied, but never received any response or reimbursement.
In short, I cannot recommend VFS Global to anyone seeking a smooth and stress-free visa application process. While my experience may be an outlier, I would advise looking into other companies that may offer better customer service and communication.
VFS Global: A Disappointing and Inefficient Service Provider for Visa Applications
I recently had a very disappointing experience with VFS Global, and frankly I'm surprised that any country would entrust their entry process to this company. My impression of the country I wanted to visit was severely diminished by the poor performance of VFS. It seems they treat the visa application process as if it were just another transaction, like buying a pizza, rather than the important matter that it is. They even try to sell you additional services, causing more chaos and confusion.
What's more, the impression I received from the automated response email was terrible - I felt as if I were being prosecuted and judged by a cold, impersonal machine. The information provided was often inaccurate and incomplete, making it difficult to navigate through the application process smoothly. Unfortunately, in my case, VFS exceeded the agreed-upon timeframe for returning my passport. I was forced to go to extra lengths and obtain a new passport. Then to my surprise, my visa application was denied without any justifiable reason. I provided all the necessary documents and had an established travel itinerary, including my return flights and work plans, yet I was still rejected.
I cannot recommend using VFS Global, and I sincerely hope that soon the countries who contract their services will take their business elsewhere. It seems that VFS is only motivated by the promise of low-cost services, which clearly comes at the expense of quality and care. Ultimately, it is a very bad company, and unfortunately, it is very bad for the countries who rely on them.
Online appointment charges
While booking an appointment to submit a visa application at Pakistan for South Africa, booking portal shows an appointment fee of PKR-50 but upon payment though credit/debit card they deduct USD-50 which is a huge difference and they charge hell a lot...
