Disappointing Experience with Velocity Air Conditioning: Overpriced Repairs and Lack of Customer Service
Velocity Air Conditioning came to my house for my regular 6-month tune-up, which cost me $65. I know that my unit was working fine, but I believe in maintenance because I used to work at Napa Auto Parts for 45 years and I know that preventative maintenance is important. However, during the tune-up, the technician found that the capacitor was bad and the unit needed 3 pounds of Freon. I was not happy about this at all, especially when I found out that it would cost me $588.
I tried calling the company while the technician was performing the repairs to see if I could get a discount as a regular customer, but I never received a call back. I was really disappointed because I thought that as a loyal customer, I deserved better treatment.
To make matters worse, the technician charged me $126 per pound of Freon. I couldn't believe it! I found the exact same Freon online for only $175 for a 25-pound cylinder. I understand that companies need to make a profit, but this felt like I was being taken advantage of.
Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience with Velocity Air Conditioning. I think that they need to be more transparent with their pricing and treat their customers with more respect. I hope that they can improve their service in the future.
Unfair Business Practices and Trickery by Velocity Air Conditioning
I am so frustrated with Velocity Air Conditioning right now. I had a technician come out to do a repair and he convinced me to sign up for a $240 maintenance package. He didn't explain that the package came with a discount, so when I called to cancel it, they only refunded me $104. I feel like I was tricked and taken advantage of. It's not fair that I ended up spending more money than I can afford.
I really don't appreciate the way Velocity Air Conditioning does business. They trick customers into spending more money and then cover it up with lies. It's not right and it's not fair. I feel like I can't trust them anymore.
To make matters worse, they never refunded me the $104 they promised. I feel like they're just trying to scam me out of my hard-earned money. Whoever owns this company is a no good scammer and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
