Benny serviced my air conditioning system even though I complained about equipment failing especially the air purifier light keeps going out. He didn't argued but proceeded to take it apart and show me the issue. He replaced the parts needed. Now I feel safe.

Gerardo was excellent in every respect. And in this case I mean every respect: he interfaced with a busy dispatcher, got the problem identified and corrected and kept management focused thru a complex, costly process. He made the job run smoothly for his company and his client.

Victor came out explained everything and even showed me all the readings so I could literally see the problem. Unfortunately it wasn't a cheap fix but it wasn't a disaster either. Overall a 100% professional experience. And they were able to schedule us the next day... in a heatwave.

Benny arrived with booties in hand to enter my house. I appreciated that he had booties. He was thorough going through the diagnostic steps in checking out the equipment. He was also very very helpful in assisting me to speak with NEST because my thermostat stopped working with the wifi and my phone app.

Plumbing services from Paul the plumber were excellent! He made sure everything was working well , no matter how long it took. He was able to fully unclog my sinks unlike other plumbing services we've used. He also gave helpful advise to maintain my plumbing. We certainly appreciate your work ethic, Paul!

Paul was courteous and professional and found solutions to our issues that other plumbers could not. His work is first rate. He is very Covid aware, even sanitizing areas in the house he may have touched and wore a mask and boots all day. He is one of a very few repair people that I would call again without hesitation.

Benny arrived on time when promised he explained what he was going to do. As he started his service he noticed that my air conditioning unit outside was not working. He quickly took the top cover to the fan motor explanied that the compressor was hot and not working. He cooled the compressor reset back and started the system all that with out complaint.

Gerardo and Josh of JW Heating diagnosed the problem with my condenser from listening to a grinding noise from the audio of a video we took. Gerardo came back out yesterday and replaced the defective parts under warranty. He was very friendly, informative and responsive. He wore a mask, gloves, and booties when in our house and was respectful of our concerns. Five Stars

My furnace and AC unit was installed by JW Heating and Air. Their experience technicians did a great job in my house. It passed *** inspections with no problem. I have the system for a year now and I like it.

The maintenance service person, Gerardo, was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable in conducting the routine check of my furnace and AC. Everything is in top shape.

I had a young man by the name of Peter, he is a technician for jw air n heat, and he was the best service technician I've had from jw, so I like to Commend peter a 5 star on his job performance he did today in my home service, for my next service if I can have Peter this service technician come out for my next service I will always stay with jw. My AC unit was leaking so I had to turn it off and during this heat wave it was a huge NO NO.. called after reading AngeList reviews and they were able to send a Tech same day... Christian was very helpful, he explain the issues with the unit, he even took pictures of the damaged parts and showed them to me. He wore his mask and booties all the time he was inside the house and was very professional. I'm very happy I found JW Plumbing, Heating & Air.

We called in the morning and the technician arrived the same afternoon. Victor was amazing. In just a few hours he identified the problem with our AC unit and had the parts necessary to repair the unit on hand. He shared his professional opinion and didn't appear interested in price gouging - he was not pushy about spending lots of money and offered realistic expectations for how long the repair should last.

Additionally, without requesting, Victor wore a mask and booties at all times and limited his interaction within our house to only what he needed to touch. Highly recommend JW and especially, Victor, for your HVAC needs.

My old Lennox system Heating and Air had worked great for 19 years with no problems except to change a filter. It used freon so I had it replaced and the new unit which they said I needed (a 5 ton instead of a 4 ton) installed by JW with new ductwork and everything . I had to have a whole new unit installed a year later. For a year, I had to have multiple service calls regarding one thing or another with the vents and system - most times with a different technician so one hand didn't know what the other hand had done and I was not pleased at all. Then when we had rain, my roof leaked where the unit was installed on the roof. Had to have a roof repair and repair on the ceiling. JW paid for it, but I am not happy with their work because of all the hassle it causes. Yes their technicians are polite, but I want installers and techs who are competent and can fix a problem in one visit. And honestly, I don't think I'll ever buy a Lennox product again. Wish I could like them more, but it's not possible.

Our AC was running constantly and was leaking water near where the blower and furnace are located. I found JW Heating and Air through recommendations on NextDoor and researching their excellent customer reviews on various sites. Scheduling a service call was easy; the scheduling staff person was professional, friendly, as was able to schedule a service call for the next day. Christian, the service technician, was outstanding! Very knowledgeable and professional and observant of all COVID-19 precautions. He explained what he was looking for and what he found throughout his assessment of the issues with our AC. The water leaking was due to a backup in the main drain and there was not a secondary drain. The AC was also low on refrigerant. The unit is old and uses the refrigerant that is now banned in CA due to environmental regulations. I also discussed with Christian some issues we were having with the furnace, which is also old and not energy efficient at all. Even before the call I had already anticipated that we would likely need a new AC and furnace. Christian answered all of my questions about the AC and furnace. He cleaned out the clog in the AC main drain as a temporary fix. I immediately scheduled a followup appointment with a technician from JW's installation department to get a quote for replacing the AC and furnace. I will get a couple of other quotes just to compare prices but am confident that JW's quote will be competitive and I know that their service technicians and installers and the office staff are the best.

I called JW Heating & Air to inspect my old furnace because it was making a loud "pop" sound after each run. JW's prompt service led to the discovery of leaking carbon monoxide from the cracks within the old unit and disconnected pipe to the unit. Christian was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable in servicing the product.
I did my homework and check various Heating and AC licensed contractors before finalizing my contract with JW Heating & Air to install a new furnace and AC for my home. Ted C. was the representative who thoroughly explained the products and service contract. He listed different options to my preference and survey the needs of my home. The 2 days installation was completed by 3 technicians - Ernesto, Felipe, and Ramon. The best professional, knowledgeable, and experience crew you will experience. They are hard-working, efficient, and timely. Their works are professional quality, and they make sure that your home is tidy and clean before and after the project.

My project took 2 days to complete and a visit from State and city inspectors. This is anticipated for project to be done properly and in accordance with the State and city's codes. When finding the right vendor for your furnace and AC, don't get too fixated on the bottom-line cost. It is imperative to also consider the knowledge and quality of service, efficiency of the unit, and the right unit for the size of your home. I recommend JW Heating and Air because they live up to their reputation of honesty, integrity, and value in delivering a competitive and quality service in their industry.

I had a technician from JW Heating and Air come to my house on *** to inspect my furnace and air handling system. They charged me *** for the inspection. The technician said that the air supply ducting needed cleaning and gave me a proposal for the service, which would cost *** I asked them to have the service department contact me to schedule a date and answer my questions about the proposed work. To my surprise, they charged my checking account *** for the work before it was even done. I immediately contacted JW and asked them to reverse the charge. They responded on the same day and said it was a "mistake" and would reverse the charge. However, I believe this was not a genuine mistake. If I hadn't carefully reviewed my checking summary, the charge would have gone through. This is not a good business practice and it left me with a negative consumer experience.

The product we bought from this company wasn't installed right according to the manufacturer's instructions, and the people they sent to fix it didn't actually fix anything. We spent a lot of money on a new HVAC system for our house. The salesperson said it would take 3 to 4 days to install, but it ended up taking 2 and a half weeks. The installers kept making mistakes during the installation, and they even damaged our ceiling. They didn't offer any compensation for the damage they caused. We had to call them multiple times to come and fix the system because it wasn't installed properly. Our most recent problem is that the brand new system has a coolant leak and it doesn't cool the house at all. We called another company to get a second opinion on the installation, and they found that other parts of the system were installed incorrectly. They also discovered that the system had no refrigerant and it was leaking. Now, JW Heating doesn't want to fix the issues or reimburse us for the repairs we had to pay for because they messed up the installation.
