Hello, I went to Braum's STORE #131. 1085 SW Wilshire, Burleson, TX 76028 on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 6:55pm. Many of the employees were wearing gloves except for a few that I noticed. One particular employee making ice cream was not wearing gloves while making a brownie sundae for a drive thru customer. As I was checking out, I mentioned my concern to the assistant manager that I think the employee should wear gloves while making ice cream. The assistant Manager, by the name of Cece started to argue with me in front of the employees stating that it is not required for her to wear gloves because she is not directly handling food. I mentioned to Cece that the employee was handling ice cream and I had a concern that gloves is not being worn. The assistant manger Cece, continued to dispute that I am wrong and did not acknowledged my concern. The assistant manager Cece stated that according to Food Handling guidelines, that the employee does not have to wear gloves because she's not directly touching the ice cream. I proceeded to inform the assistant manager Cece that I have a food handling certificate and I am aware of food safety guidelines. I think it was very unprofessional, unethical, and disturbing that an assistant manager will not acknowledge a customer's concern regarding food safety concerns of simply wearing gloves.
