I bought some uniform stuff from Uniforms-4u for an event I was going to. I ordered it 4 business days before the event and paid for overnight shipping. I was really excited to get my stuff in time for the event, but then I didn't hear anything from them for a while. I sent them an email asking for an update the day before my event, and they said it was preparing to ship. I was like, "What the heck? I paid for overnight shipping!" So I sent them another email saying I wanted to cancel my order. But then they said it was too late to cancel. I was so mad!

Finally, almost 3 weeks later, I got my stuff. But then I found out I had to pay for return shipping and a 15% restocking fee. That's not fair! I didn't even open the package! And they didn't even refund me for the overnight shipping that took 3 weeks to get to me. I'm really disappointed with Uniforms-4u. I don't think I'll be buying from them again.

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Uniforms-4u. The service was just terrible, and the staff was no help at all. I ordered a hat and some accessories to fix a damaged emblem and elastic band, but it never came even though USPS said it was delivered. I tried calling, messaging, and emailing them for over a week before they finally responded. Melissa said they would help me, but all they did was tell me that since USPS said it was delivered, I had no recourse. They told me to just buy it again and pay again. I wasn't happy with that, but they finally offered me a 10% discount.

I've bought uniforms from them before, and I even had a phone consultation about the size. I ordered based on that consultation, but when the uniform arrived, it was the WRONG size. They told me to ship it back at my expense, pay a restocking fee of 15%, and then rebuy it and pay for shipping all over again. I knew that even if I did that, it still wouldn't be right, so I had it shipped directly to my tailor's shop. Even then, it still wasn't right, but at least my tailor could alter it at my expense.

Honestly, the only thing you can buy from them that's guaranteed to fit is a service ribbon. I would definitely recommend reading all of the one-star reviews before making a purchase from them. There are so many woeful tales of being serviced by Salute Uniforms - and I mean SERVICED! If you do decide to place an order, just buckle up and be prepared for a bumpy ride.

Uniforms-4u is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I ordered a jacket, pants, and shirt in the middle of July and did not receive any updates on my order for weeks. I had to call customer service to find out what was going on, and they told me that they were waiting on the pants and would ship the jacket and other items immediately. I finally received the jacket in mid-August, but it was the wrong size. The jacket was not true to size, and I immediately cancelled the rest of the order because I did not know if the pants would be the correct size.

Instead of acknowledging the issue, they tried to convince me over the phone that I was not a 42R. They said they would exchange it for a fee. I went to the tailor to remeasure myself and try on a 42R at the PX. The tailor confirmed that I was a 42R and the 42R at the PX fit perfectly. I tried calling Uniforms-4u and was on hold for 40 minutes before I decided to email them because I thought it would be more efficient.

I asked Uniforms-4u to waive the exchange fee because they sent me a jacket that is not true to size. They refused to waive the fee or allow me to return the jacket for my money back. I mailed the jacket back at my own personal expense ($16) and will only receive a store credit minus the 15%. As a result of their mistake, I paid 15% of the jacket's cost ($45) + another $16 in shipping + my time. I could have paid for all of my tailoring at that cost. Now I am stuck with a $260 credit at a retailer that I cannot even trust to send me the right sized item.

I still have not received the refund for the first part of the order, and they refuse to refund or exchange the jacket without charging me a fee. For comparison, most clothing companies pay for return shipping and do not charge restocking fees. I even sent them this review prior to posting the review to give them a chance to resolve the situation.

The experience speaks for itself. Do not use Uniforms-4u under any circumstances. Their customer service is terrible, and they do not stand behind their products.
